Many plugins from the pluginhub break the client in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, including causing issues like client freezes. We do not support pluginhub plugins because we do not make or quality control them, and do not recommend their use.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

hi everyone, not sure if youre also experiencing this but i have fixed mode classic on with the "chat hider". been using it for a year+ with no issue. today i jumped into BH and noticed that the box that displays the opponents name and ability to skip them is located far under the client (lower right hand portion). occasionally itll come back but 99% of the time its unviewable.

im running into a sign in issue. I cannot download the jagex launcher onto my pc. I am incapable of removing remnants of a corrupted install from when a drive was essentially obliterated from existence. Jagex launcher is not an option.

So, I got the game to work by downloading it through steam (OSRS). However when attempting to launch runelite (i have the launch options set to launch osrs through runelite on steam and it is working), it makes me sign in. I enter my credentials, and everytime I try to login it says that it's the wrong password or username. I have my steam account linked to my jagex account

any suggestions?

I had destroyed the drive essentially by reorganizing my volumes on my SSDs and apparently if you move a volume with data on it in a direction opposite of what your OS forces you to use to create new volumes (basically i think you can only create new volumes if theres free space to the right of the volume, and i moved a volume with data on it to the left)

Ah thank you. Personally my reason for not restarting my RL client is because of my loot tracker as I keep it on session.

Should I still restart my client even if I can still login post-update? After the "connecting to server" I just tried logging in again and it worked.

I'm messing with Idle Notifier. I see the "You are now idle" notification displayed natively as expected, but the sound doesn't start when the notification pops up, instead there's several seconds before the sound actually plays.

Is there a way for that sound to play immediately? I've tried turning off the Native notification sound, and changing the notification timeout. The notification doesn't start any earlier.

Having an issue with both GPU and 117 where Runelite has heavy framedrops from 144fps down to 20fps. It's really difficult to reproduce and appears to happen "at random" with intervals between a couple of minutes and a couple of hours.

Marked the point at which it happens on the GPU/CPU graphs. Tried playing around with enabling/disabling Windows Hardware Acceleration and various Nvidia settings without any fix.

Anyone seen this before?

You can use autohotkey to rebind an input like space bar to left click. You can’t use autohotkey to do things like F12 clicks the top 8 inventory spaces

Oh, but doesnt jagex's anticheat analyze ur mouse click delays like down and up and use that to catch bots or auto clickers, so if i bind my left mouse to spacebar those delays will change and it might think im using autoclicker?

Many plugins from the pluginhub break the client in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, including causing issues like client freezes. We do not support pluginhub plugins because we do not make or quality control them, and do not recommend their use.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

To find the logs, you can do one of the following:

• If your client failed to open, click the Open logs folder button.
• Open the screenshot directory by right-clicking 📷 Camera button, navigate 1 directory up, then open logs folder.
• Navigate to %userprofile%\.runelite\logs on Windows or $HOME/.runelite/logs on Linux and macOS.

but with all of them disabled it will probably work on next restart

When i have extended map loading set to 5 and Draw distance to like 80+ on the GPU plugin my fps is 42 when zoomed all the way out. But when i enable Unlock FPS it drops my fps to 29

Hey there, I'm having a minor issue with Runelite on Linux, specifically fedora 40/under KDE/Wayland, where when I close the laptop with Runelite running, usually two windows of it, after waking the laptop from sleep the entire Runelite window will be frozen entirely, and won't let me close the window, atleast through normal means. It usually only seems to happen to one of the two running instances and doesn't always happen, but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea why? It could be more of a Java interaction and beyond the scope of runelite but any input would be appreciated, thanks

If you could get a stack dump of the client after it is frozen that could help narrow it down

using either the debug helper plugin, or if you run runelite.jar directly you can use jstack

I am trying to get Discord to show what activity i am doing in Runelite, I have the discord plugin enabled and setup to show all activities but discord only shows the total time played not what activity i am doing. I have toggled every setting in both discord and the discord plugin on runelite, anyone got any ideas?

heya i've been trying to fix some issue for about an hour now and cant seem to figure it out, not sure if its something plugin related but my f4 button won't seem to work to open my spellbook in game. i've tried 2 separate keyboards, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, checked my in game settings, and checked key remapping and none of these seem to be the issue and everything seems correct. any suggestions?
