You can also take a video with anything, then convert it to a gif

though most services accept a video now anyway, and videos are better quality

accounts are entirely separate from any client

accounts made on Steam or Mobile are usually just missing an email to be able to log in elsewhere, so check the Jagex help pages and there should be a way to add the email and start logging into other clients through that
