lol
this is such a good idea
if u give up on it I'll do it instead (not trying to take over I just kinda want to do this lol)
pona a
what's the new all quit sibelius button enabled by a switch of sitelen pona pona
have idea of pointing out that "pona" and "ike" look more like lupa and nena
and saying they work better for something like a chart like this
i'm also considering that the script would be entirely in toki pona but not sure
o ni
ni li musi mute
sina ken pana e sitelen anpa kepeken toki inli
a, toki lawa li sama
mi kin li toki lawa: "mi wile toki pona e sitelen tawa, kin mi wile pana e sitelen anpa pi toki Inli"
nasin pona
a a ken la sina pali e toki pona la jan ante o pana e toki inli
ni li ken musi mute a
n
sitelen tawa tu anu seme?
a
“o pini e ilo Sipeliju” anu “ale sin”
sitelen ikej
the glyph with negative space
weka and moli are impossible to write with a pen*
why is every glyph a different size
every glyph is a different size in sitelen pona usually, linja pona and the like are outliers that got really popular and have a lot of influence
if you look in pu they vary a lot in size
ok
i could see how making suli and lili different would be a good idea, but at least make it so it actually represents suli and lili
i just see a triangle, how is that "suli"
"bounce" and "shogi piece"
huh
what is that about
can understand this is impossible to write
weka and moli are real hard to pen (ike)
ok
you know how pona and ike look like lupa and nena
lupa and nena had to be changed
but like
almost no hills or bumps look like nena does
they usually are smallest at the top
not at the bottom
same with lupa, not many holes are like that
noka barely looks like a foot
yeah
and it has two contradictory goals: to make things more similar and to make things more differentiatable
a and kin have nothing to do with the meanings
a in sitelen pona pu is latincentric (or cyrilliccentric) sure
but it is understandable at least to those
kin has an asterisk used to mean also
alasa no longer looks like bow and arrow
D with line in it
yes
this is comic sans but with no use for anyone
tawa and kama are still the same glyph but mirrored and not mirrored
?
for some reason "a" can be turned into a glyph with no meaning besides "it's o-like" (which we ALREADY HAD) but "ken" wasn't
they're both latin/cyrillic centric
but only one was changed
isn't that like similar to pu
a
for ken, at least i TRIED to make a glyph related to its meaning
ken comes from anu
but they didn't even try
(not like they tried with any of the others though)
will also mention how monsi just lookes like E
you could at least move the line OUTside
or just turn the dot into a vertical line
LINJA a pona la suli pi nimi "suli" en suli pi nimi "lili" li ante lili. taso sitelen pona pona la, ona li SAMA a. tan seme? jan jackhumbert o, TAN SEME AA
nasin sitelen sina li tan seme??
Inspiration (especially for new/apocryphal words) was taken from the excellent linja pona.
a, ni a li tan
I have a few other things you might put in a critique video.
Using interpuncts (as end-of-sentence markers) as well as poka/sinpin/monsi is dangerous.
‹suli› and ‹lili› in compound glyphs look identical.
‹wile› is a monsi
what? this is criticizing sitelen pona pona
not plain sitelen pona
tan lipu pu
sitelen pona pona made all the changes you said in a bad way (except for wile)
nimi jackhumbert li ken ni: jan Jaki Unpato
oh this idea is fun
i'd like to see the final video once it's done
i just realized that lete is small in spp for seemingly no reason
a a a
(i think it would be more accurately be tokiponized as jan Saki Anpa of course but uh)
uh
uj
ok uh
uh
hm
