it also introduces an english-y animacy distinction into toki pona, where many more interesting alternatives exist, like referring to life based off of a particular function. for example,

hmm i wish i could add at least five more glyphs for my friends but they wouldn't be useful because they don't speak toki pona but it would be cool
i could just ask for the server icon but i feel like my five dollars is already stretched too thin-

so i could still get the friends i was referring to represented in the font without asking for a bunch of glyphs

kapesi la what i like about it is that it’s like pimeja and walo but in between
so if i used it i wouldn’t use it as brown specifically, it would be gray and any other unsaturated color near it
of the 5 pu color words, the hues consist of kule stacked vertically with another radical, while the shades consist of a full-sized kule

so i like the second kapesi glyph better

but aesthetically the first is pretty good

so having both would be good

also because of compatibility and such

I don't understand why even have a ton of alts in the first place. I feel like it builds less character for the font. Like you don't really see the squiggly g and the g with like a hook on the bottom in the same font, and that's the decisions you make when choosing a font

Then again I'm not making the font and have no experience whatsoever
