in the same way that a good-leaning neutral route would be the one most people playing undertale blind would end up doing, i think most people playing omori would default to the sunny route (or the abandoned route) without any external information. but letting people make their own decisions is the best part about rpgs, it gives everyone unique experiences to talk about and then gives them things to look forward to on future playthroughs

basically i just don't think it's good practice to tell people that there is a "right" and "wrong" way to play games, even if the "right" way will result in a more fulfilling experience, because the beauty of games as an artform is how every playthrough is personalized to some extent

Eh you can find a simple strategy for the bears, they are just long to fight

What about ||Sweetheart herself||? That fight is difficult because it demands knowledge about the game's emotion system, particularly about emotion advantage (which the game does little more to teach than with a skippable PNG), as well as being mindful of the characters' speed stats (which is hidden in battle)

Rare Bears are only difficult to fight because of their massive stats when they're Angry, enough to out-stat some bosses (of course the game doesn't communicate this)
As for ||Perfectheart||, the strategy for that fight is to just ignore emotions and spam healing items, which is hardly good boss design in my opinion

"x encounter is only difficult for y reason" still means the encounter is difficult, even if for a trivial reason

i agree that ||perfectheart is bad boss design especially with just how late in the game you have the encounter, but the constant high damage is enough to force the player to do something they're probably not used to (spamming group heals every turn)||

tl;dr just because a fight is difficult doesn't mean it's a good fight or that the way it's difficult is good/interesting

Hello, i am currently trying to get every achievements in the game but i have 1 problem about the ||"Universally loved"|| achievement : || I have all of the flowers and i am currently inside the hospital room but i realised that i am missing 1 flower from SARAH'S FAMILY because of 1 thing : on 2 days left i spoke to the two NPC'S and did what i was supposed to do BUT when i was done i forgot to go inside their house to actually "claim" the flower. So now i don't have any save files that can let me get this without having to start the game over and spend way too much time. Is there any way like editing variables from my save file to get this achievement ? (i just missed 1 thing, i do think i deserve it)||
