Aubrey is more of a consistent damage dealer, Kel tends to be a specialist attacker/support.
Omori has access to a plethora of debuff skills while getting a few heavy hitting attacks like Hack Away

Since in itemless we can only revive with homemade jam, it's kinda incentivised to not let your party members go down

• give Omori and Aubrey hit rate charms (seer goggles, binoculars, etc.) and use happy vs angry emotion advantage
  • If you aren't using happy then give them anything that boosts attack/luck, although there are not many charms before one day left that do this
• give Kel something to boost his low HP (heart string is best here), or if you want to go more aggressive, use a speed-boosting charm to increase run 'n gun damage
• give Hero anything to boost his defensive stats, or a speed charm if outspeeding the enemy to heal is an issue

You can beat the enemies in the garden, use sad poem and poetry books (you can buy them from the smuggler jash in the underground room before entering Sweetheart’s stage) to make your party members sad

There are a few skills that can also lower her stats
Omori’s trick (level 15) can reduce her speed when she’s happy
Aubrey’s power hit (level 14) can reduce her defense
Hero’s smile (level 10) can reduce her attack

Keep her speed debuffed with Trick, then use Sad Poem, Team Spirit and Massage to remove Angry whenever she inflicts it.
If you have Poetry Books, those can be used in place of Massage.
