Maybe get some more levels, that's kinda low. I typically recommend 16-18
The general tip is that happy beats angry. You will get oneshot if the boss makes you angry & you don't change your emotion. Being happy is fine in this situation, naturally being sad is better.

||make sure u stock up on whole chickens (U can find in boss rush mailbox), i usually bring like 50 just in case lol. for the first phase U can play normally like any other battle (using emotions and buffs/debuffs and heals). when she changes phases, don't give her emotions cuz she does more damage. for me i usually make kel and hero both use whole chicken and only omori and aubrey do damage and u can generally stay at close to full health||

||Well what I did was use omori's sad poem to make them sad and i would use kel to annoy aubrey and then spam aubreys headbutt pretty much and hero would heal, but if others got low and the girls would attack before me i would use kel to use a snack as he goes first and when the energy lvl was up to 10 i would release energy but yea idk if my method would help that much||

Use Omori’s Trick skill to make sure that she’s always slower than you and debuff her attack with Hero’s Smile skill, but keep in mind that debuffs only last 6 turns unless you’re on the console version.
Buy poetry books and mango smoothies in the room before the fight and buy popcorn in the movie theatre to heal.||

for this reason I don't recommend sad, they do make themselves angry so just stick with that & make your team happy.

tried playing omori after a few weeks, got this, i fully uninstalled and reinstalled and this won't boot and i AM playing this game through steam, i dunno if this is any common issue but reinstalling doesn't seem to fix it

update: i got the game to boot however im stuck on version 1.0 instead of 1.0.8

You need to be lucky, make it sad, or defeat it before it can run

10% chance for the chicken to not run away, or 100% if it's sad.
Be faster than it - Beach Ball & Contract on Kel are a good start - or Lucky Slice will always hit first, if you can deal enough damage in one hit

I'm getting a Nintendo switch soon and I want to get omori to play on it but everywhere I look I can only pre order it and I'll probably have to wait till April to get it. Wasn't it already out I'm confused? Also if I try to look it up in the PlayStation store I can't find it and again from what I knew it was released on switch and PS4 a while ago. Does anyone know what's up with that? Preferably I'd get it in my switch but if I'm not able to I'll probably get it of steam. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for the game so I'm keeping myself from watching videos on it (I already got a masive spoiler a while ago but eh spoilers don't bother me that much).

it definitely exists on consoles, there's nothing to pre-order because it's already out. Maybe the places you're looking are out of stock & are collecting money for if it comes back. You shouldn't do this. You can always use the nintendo e-shop to buy omori.

I'm in Humphrey rn (normal route) and I wanted to improve my combat, what's the best way to have Aubrey angry, kel happy, and omori/hero sad? Or should I not have hero be sad for the juice loss
And also for recovering juice should I use Kels skill? I feel like just using items with hero would be better

aubrey pass to kel also makes both of them a level of angry depending on game progress, then U can pair with items to basically get ur entire party angry in one turn and enemy sad in one turn w omori sad poem
