make sure the enemy is angry too, but keep in mind there's not a ton you can do at that level to really crank up your raw speed stat, it's basically multiplicatively scaling a small number.
If the attack hits right in the heart you should be getting 4-digit numbers consistently.

here is what i did! ||use raincloud or omori's sad poem for each member early to make all team members sad, and then have aubrey use pep talk or a sparkler to make humphrey happy in each round! in the first round, prioritise staying alive. have kel use flex + run and gun or richochet, aubrey use power hit, omori use mock or trick, and hero healing as needed. in the second round, have aubrey counter and hero heal her as needed while omori and kel use debuffs and attacks. in the last round, SAVE UP TO RELEASE ENERGY! i try not to kel nuke in any boss fights unless i absolutely need to, and i strongly suggest you take the same tactic.|| i hope this helps <33

Happy vs angry is usually better than angry vs sad, most of angry’s increased damage is dealt to juice when the boss is sad and very few enemies will run out of juice before dying. Happy is also the only emotion with a downside that can be completely negated using charms, angry enemies give more exp when defeated, and happiness has good synergy with strong skills like Mock and Run N Gun

Because of sad enemies taking damage to juice instead of heart and angry’s reduced defence, angry is only the best way of dealing damage if the enemy is out of juice or can’t have emotions

Interact with the statue once (and get it wrong, to learn there's a password). Then talk to the four guards around the garden maze. If they won't tell you any passwords after you interacted with the statue, and none of the password phrases are available choices, your game is broken
