There aren't really many specific equipment loadouts like that, basically as you see. Flex to cover the loss of hit chance is pretty clever, just means you have to use it every other turn. Dunno if that's what you want lol

Generally speaking the strategy is in emotions. Make your team happy vs an angry foe to maximize damage. Have a sad team with a happy enemy to significantly reduce their damage to you

Combat strategies do seem to be relatively straightforward for the most part, but I’ve just found some curiosities for some setups

Like right now I’m debating between an Aubrey looks at Kel -> Kel annoys her -> Aubrey attacks with Headbutt

vs.

Aubrey makes Kel happy + Kel starts with daisy -> Kel attacks with Run and Gun

I could certainly test it out myself, but it seems pretty funny to gamble her ATK so high but with -50 hit

She doesn't deal enough damage to compensate for missing half the time, it'd be better to go for a consistent strat unless you're feeling REALLY lucky

Plus she's even slower so she has to survive pretty much every enemies' attacks before she's actually able to attack

Something I tried now in my second play through was to click the button and run as far as I can to the right before they caught me

I battled a few of the rare bears, then realized that with the stagger that enemies get when you run, you can make wiggle room to grab all the items, avoid the battles, and escape

It’s less exp, but it helped me avoid burning through my life jams, juice restores, etc.

Here's how I beat ||phase 2||:
-Spam Kel with the Whole Chicken and Hero with the Snack Time every turn, Omori and Aubrey will be your main damage dealers.
-Try to use the ||Phobia skills|| from Omori's moveset, and to hit her right where it hurts, as all debuff skills before this point will be erased.
-Do NOT use Last Resort from Aubrey unless you have to. It's Last Resort for a reason.
-Try switching out weapons and charms to find the best set that works. I used ||Abbi's weapons and charms|| for this fight, but it all depends what you want to do.
-Refresh if needed. Don't forget stocking up on Combo Meals.

||This is flawed for a couple of reasons, but the main thing I see is that because of her high luck, Sweetheart is able to easily toast a furious or enraged party member in a single hit, even with guard. While this strategy may still work given enough time, it's usually much more efficient to use regular attacks and skills instead of idling until a Release Energy. (Also worth noting that if an attack against you misses or deals 0 damage you won't gain energy from it)||

I personally loved using this on Omori, as "Attack Again" attacks twice by the time you get this.
Just be careful of defense-piercing attacks.

Hm, I just did some Omori-damage testing for: Happy + Lucky Slice vs. Angry; Sad + Stab vs. Happy; Angry + Contract vs. Angry

The lucky slice one actually seemed to deal the highest damage overall if you crit, while Stab strategy seemed to deal similar damage to Contract 🤷‍♂️ (well without Attack Again)

I suppose all 3 strategies yield similar results, just different levels of risk, and depends on the enemy type
