by the way, out of curiosity, where are you getting the original manga panels (before any coloring) from? i noticed that your coloring for chapter 1 contains the panels at 724 x 1024 resolution, which is below the original 960 x 1378 resolution that the digital manga panels are uploaded at. however, the coloring you did for chapter 2 has the panels at a surprising 1080 x 1554 resolution, which is somehow higher than the one the digital release of the manga has them at. did you upscale the panels? or was i wrong about the fact that 960 x 1378 is their original resolution?

i tried taking that approach, but it's been kind of difficult, the manga so far feels like it's trying to tell the same story as the game, but it feels as if it's almost intentionally failing at the most important parts.
like, surely anybody could imagine how controversial it would have been to include mari's ghost after fighting space boyfriend, right?
that's why i was hoping that the recent plotpoint of the headspace gang having fully forgotten basil would take the story in a different direction, so as to make it easier for me to see the manga as just a normal manga that just so happens to use the Omori IP
