im not sure if it got patched or not but there is a bug on the ps4 version (and maybe other versions?) where getting all the hangman keys will restart the game as intended but now every time you boot up the game it will automatically load up to where you got the key instead of the main menu
this also has a chance to corrupt your saves

i noticed that too, i think nui just had more time to finish this illustration than when she had to finish each manga panel.
since nui can draw hair properly, and it's not really a quirk of her artstyle, i guess that all but confirms that the manga uses atleast a little bit of AI or some sort of assistance to help with drawing some parts of the manga.
i mean, compare mari's hair in that picture which looks really clean, to aubrey's hair in this panel (Chapter 2, Page 40) which looks wildly different even though aubrey is the main focus of the image

JP voice acting is moreso meant to represent the soul of the character

If I had to describe it
not trying to be offensive here, moreso an honest question; don't you think your concept of "how Kel and Aubrey could probably sound like" is kind of a "letdown" of sorts? like, it could be more than that, and it could be more "original", in such a way that listening to their voices would not remind the viewer that they are simply "hearing a voice actor who has acted for anime characters, voicing an anime character", but rather, it would remind them of a more "unique" voice, that would give more identity to each character.
while playing omori, i felt like one of the important points of the story, further exacerbated after the real world section, was that each character was their own person, with their own set of problems, so, for example, whenever aubrey came on screen, i knew that the words i was reading were purely aubrey's thoughts and feelings, and it strongly felt like no other character would be acting the same way as aubrey, they all felt very distinct.
i feel like this "individuality" of each character must have been a little bit intentional, seeing as how in headspace, each of the main characters are much simpler and sort of "narrower" in the way they express themselves.
for this purpose, i feel like having "average" voice actors for an anime adaptation of the game, would not do justice to how special each character feels in the game. i feel like they should each be voiced by people who omocat and her team truly feel like they're the best depiction of each character's thoughts, feelings and actions
to put it in a more direct way, if, the anime ever adapts or reaches, say, the church scene, i think the voice acting could greatly benefit from not making the viewer think "oh these people got paid money to say this", be it whether for how recognizable their voices are, or how "cliche" and "correct" they sound

it's always a tough challenge to try and give a voice to a character that didn't have one before. for basil's voice, i think omocat did a particularly bad job, as his voice doesn't match basil at all (<-- that is my opinion)

i was imagining basil as having a calmer, and more "direct" voice, so the one that the voice actor gave him makes it feel as if it was the voice actor talking to me as opposed to basil talking to me.
obviously, i don't think the voice actor is at fault here, as he was just giving his best possible voice for the description of basil that he was given.
further, your idea of how basil should sound like is of someone with a "high pitched", more feminine voice, which is a description i wouldn't necessarily agree with, so it is simply impossible to satisfy everyone in this case

this is a really good description of basil's voice in the promotional video we got. from what i was able to hear from comparing each clip, their voices are really similar, i'd just say the intonation is noticeably different between the two, but the sound of their voices are similar. i'm surprised you were able to make such a good connection
