it's a very memorable moment that many players remember, and it's a really important part of the game as well, so nui took more time to work on these important panels

After careful consideration, I have decided to cancel the ongoing development of OMORI 2.
This decision was not made lightly, we have poured countless hours into creating endless amount of content that we wished would make an enjoyable gameplay experience.
Unfortunately, as you might have noticed, a big chunk of the development team has proceeded to leave the dev team or is no longer responsive, and the scope of the mod is too much for those who are left around.
I myself have lost interest within the mod's concept, and wish to move on to new, non-omori related works.

on sunny's character arc. clearly he doesn't just "stop existing" after moving to a new town. the prospect of "what now?", specially after being on sunny's thoughts for all of the 10+ hours of gameplay is so interesting, that the most popular story mod for omori tries to answer specifically that question.
you can't say that the idea of following up on sunny's life isn't atleast a little bit interesting, specially if you consider the extra cutscene that you get when taking care of basil's plants on all 3 days of headspace

After careful consideration, I have decided to cancel the ongoing development of OMARI.
This decision was not made lightly, we have poured countless hours into creating endless amount of content that we wished would make an enjoyable gameplay experience.
Unfortunately, as you might have noticed, a big chunk of the development team has proceeded to leave the dev team or is no longer responsive, and the scope of the mod is too much for those who are left around.
I myself have lost interest within the mod's concept, and wish to move on to new, non-omori related works.
I apologize for everyone who was eagerly awating the releases of the following chapters.
