Well then firstly I gotta say that I have very mixed opinions on this chapter specifically. I will spoiler tag my thoughts below for those that haven't read yet. Consider this my little review of sorts.
||
First off I really like the phobia segment at the begining with Omori at the bottom of the ladder it really potrays the friend group well plus the little snippet of Fear of Heights is also cool to see too. Almost a little foreshadowing thing.

Although there was one thing that did bother me a little as I read... It's the hector panels. Out of all the things we could've changed I would've probably changed this one. Considering this segment plays out as normal it speaks to me that Oasis will happen and on one hand there is a possibility of massive rewrites to the area as a whole, but I also fear that not enough will be changed to justify it's inclusion enitrely.

Moving on I like the overworld segment... not the biggest fan of immediately jumping to a trauma segment like this and just ignoring the thriving world of otherworld beyong getting jumped by enemies.

However what I can't complain about is the trauma segment... oh boy. I mean it just speaks for itself really. Artwise, storywise, everything. It's great. I am also intrested in headspace Mari's role here too near the end. It's likely she'll have a slightly more significant role in the plot of headspace moving forward.

I find the segment where Kel, Aubrey, and Hero to be a bit odd as it jumpcuts to them. Sort of skipping the actual world of Otherworld and going straight to the junkyard and going straight to Captain Spaceboy. I don't entirely hate this change but I have my opinions on it that make me raise my eyebrow a little. The narrative build-up to the fight is kinda lost here, as they just stumble onto him in a shipping crate. Obviously it potrays his depression it's just that there is no particular reason to really be fighting some random junkyard hobo. ||

I think headspace in this chapter is kinda being butchered hard in this chapter in my opinion. Mostly cause the restructuring is a little bit off to me. Every chapter I feel has at least one shocking moment that happens that makes you go... "Holy Shit!"

Which is sort of diluting the horror aspect a little. It's nice to be reminded of the horror every once in a while but I think it's happening too much in my opinion.

NGL I never even planned on reading past chapter 1 because I hate the artist but it's so bad that I'm attached to it
