Happy? Hitrate charms

Sad? Defence makes it so you take almost no damage, juice items, the speed reduction is usually irrelevant

There is no reason to not just

use happy vs angry

Well yeah... in principle it makes sense. You can deal lot of damage to eliminate juice and then beatdown the beatdown. But making the enemies have infinite juice sort of removes that benefit from using sad on others entirely.

I don't think sad is too awful... it's a powerful way to make a tank build in principle since some of your damage is coverted to juice damage. So high juice builds can work wonders. It's just not as pizazz as having extreme speed or being really high damage.

I would agree with that first idea but it removes a lot of thematic cohesion with the main three emotions if you do that. Speed Attack Defense. Those are the three emotions effectively. I do think whatever defense calculations are being used need to calm the fuck down for a minute though.

Getting ever so slightly redeemed as it goes on with the addition of different scenes, but the lack of what makes the game work for some people (something fights/omori stabbing/taking its time with reveals) hurts it a ton
