i've seen edits that draw it in omori's style and it works fine for a comic

Manga format is commercial in the first place, so you need to please only japanese audience that is very conservative and wont take anything different from what they usually consume

Yume nikki had a manga and remake that both didn’t need to exist and were heavily abridged versions of the original and I don’t hate either of those

And the manga actually IS pretty neat

I think the translators did a bad job and the art could certainly be better

But I still enjoy it

One thing I like is that it isn't the omori style

I would absolutely despise if the whole thing was in the artstyle of the game

The thing with Omori's style is that the proportions are extremely specific

It can be very easy to fuck up and make it look like shit

With only a month to draw like 60 pages
