This isn't a formal update yet, but if you are getting messages that say this region is offline, it's because you're trying to access our regions 19 or 18 that are offline and in maintenance, the situation should be resolved within 2 hours, I will put a message here when the issue is resolved.

The issue on regions 19 and 18 are not fixed, we tracked them down and it seems to be a network issue, the issue is focused on those 2 regions only, we will have someone check what's going on. For those that are trying to join goliath-19 and goliath-18, be patient, you can use /rtp to access another region.

But I can guarantee that when I start the update the server is going to close, everyone will get kicked, and once everything it's finished the server will open again.

Hello, we have some new updates and announcements that we would like everyone to be aware of.
Here is a small list of hundreds of fixes and changes we've applied in game in this last week.
Fixed spawners turning into 1.
Now World borders give damage again, damage 0.2 (default).
Fixed deaths for overworld void, they never happen anymore!
Now players with high amount of spawners get the correct money amount.
Now you can't set homes in combat (both yourself private and team home)
Fixed overworld book banning.
0,0 now resets every Sunday.
As notice, regions 18 and 19 are back (last middle week.)
    
New chat protection systems.
We are always innovating and making our systems better, this time we added an anti-spam on chat that detects and classifies the quality of your message, poor quality messages are currently not being sent, if you find false flags on this please contact is through tickets.
There is now also an artificial intelligence watching out the chat for bad words and inappropriate language, if you get punished by it and think its a false punishment, appeal through tickets and we will continue to improve it.
As always, we appreciate players that report bugs and help us improving our quality of game experience, if you have any issues in the network you are more than welcome to create a ticket so we can assist you in it.

Hello guys, we have another small list of changes that were applied to the game and some more will come today.
Now if you are in combat and you throw a pearl, your combat time will reset to 20 seconds.
/rtp now teleports you only above ground, you don't spawn in caves anymore.

Hello, we have some new updates and announcements that we would like everyone to be aware of.
Here is a list of the new additions. ๐
We expanded End world to 112.5k x 112.5k (totaling the end dimention to be 250k x 250k blocks wide)
Expanded Nether World to 30k x 30k
/RTP Update, now you can RTP to the end, nether and overworld. (/rtp or: /rtp world, /rtp nether, /rtp end)
Now new players do not spawn in the ocean in the first /world.
Performance improvements overall were made, now RTP is more random and smoother.
Fixed bedrock users not able to connect as well as public keys expired.

Hey guys, I am here to present a lot of updates that we have done this week.
๐ /rtp cooldown, now since people use it a lot, we have made the cooldown 2 minutes to all users.
๐ /ah sell, we have fully patched and implemented the replacers (ex: /ah sell 1b).
๐ Now you can place blocks on spawners by holding shift, the same applies for ender chests, example on the following video.
๐ You can't break spawners without a silk touch pickaxe, we have added this to protect users from loosing their spawners because of a common mistake.
๐ Fixed some spawners not able to sell loot.
๐ Fixed bounty adding (now we have a confirm GUI to add bounties)
AUCTION UPDATE
Now you can search for specific amount of items, this function is available both through commands or the search button, this gives cross-support for this feature.
We have removed the feature that allows you to search based on custom-item-names, this means if a player renames a random item to "golem", he is no longer going to show up in your search for spawners.
To search with commands, type: /ah <item-type> <amount>, you do not necessarily need to provide an amount!
As a reminder, now you can RTP to nether dimension as well as the end dimension.

It's been a big battle against espers, we know they are annoying and damage a lot of the player experience, for this reason for the past few weeks I have been thinking of a solution for it, and achieved one, we now are spoofing blocks so that no one can esp anymore, it is very hard to find a base with esp now.
I am going to be improving this system more and more overtime, in case you find flaws feel free to report to us!
- Implemented the beta version of our esp blocker, in OVERWORLD.
- Fixed the Auction glitch where you don't get paid always when selling items.
- Upped all sell prices by 3x except for spawners
- The issue with not able to break shulkers was also fixed.

Hey guys, just some notices here:
IN-GAME CANGES
- Improved the performance of the server even more.
- Our Anti ESP system is a bit better, we are reaching more accuracy with this.
- Now if someone is teleporting to you, you cannot use elytras anymore.
- The /nightvision glitch was fixed where u were not able to remove the effect.
- Improved stability of teleporting, such as those bugs "Security.", none happen anymore.
- The new Anti ESP now tries to reduce Player ESP even more, if you use cheats but want to help us reduce the usage of them, please contact us and we are more than willing to work together to improve this more.
- As some of you may know there is no more /shardspay, now there is also a 10k shard limit for shard balance!
- Now popping totems doesnt remove the night vision effect, which is a normal vanilla behavior but changed in DonutSMP.
- Fixed /settings not saving properly some times, causing the user to have false enables or disables.
- Fixed an issue where spawners would turn to 1 on explosion.
- Sometimes when leaving in combat bounty would not be given, this does not happen anymore.
- Improved performance of Auction(for knowledge there are about 10k items being sold in auction at the moment) ๐
OVERALL-CHANGES
We are working on a Chat filtering system that is called Poseidon, this chat filter system will now moderate our chat even more, for offensive-language and others we will be using Multiple messaging filters and classifications systems that will lead the chat to not have these messages as before, we are constantly working on this system, in then next week our automatic filters will stop punishing users automatically, and the messages will just not be spread to all users online.
We are also working towards improving bedrock user compatibility, with this change bedrock users will be able to preview shulkerboxes in Auction house with a 2 button click instead, for when to purchase or preview, since bedrock lacks cross-compatibility with Java.
After all of this, I am very curious, how many of you read these messages I send here, so please react to the

A few more patches:
- Fixed auction right click bugging out a lot, die to expired items. (Reduced the time of auction opening too, auction should be even more responsive).
- Now anchors add as kill, give bounty, and lifes too.
- Fixed the anti esp hiding and showing players all the time on overworld.
- Now if you click on heads at /leaderboard or /baltop, it should open the user statistics!
- Fixed players with balances less than $1000 to be bugged with paying with decimals.
- Fixed a glitch where users die and don't get sent to spawn after death, this was due to some spawn servers restarting right when they die, now this shouldn't happen anymore.
- Removed the auto punishes from chat, now if you send invalid or messages against our rules they will just not be spread to the users in the network, protecting people from toxicity even more.
There were a few more background changed such as implementation of small queues when connecting to servers, etc.

There will be a small downtime throughout the night/day to the regions 1-25, we will be moving them to another and more powerful hardware, these regions will not be offline at the same time, so do not worry too much, this will happen over EST close to midnight, which is around 10-11 hours from now.

For the ones that cant join, this is due to the regions being offline for transfer, they are on-going so I wont stop this process for now.

Gentleman, the issue was sorted out, but due to the auction getting turned off I will have to resync our systems, therefore, in 1h or so.

If you're getting an error ocurred, this is because your region is down, you're on the range of g13 14 and 15, a machine with faulty hardware, I am working with data center to solve the issue
Region5 and the 3 regions will be down, I will move them to a non faulty hardware.
For knowledge, the datacenter has identified the issue, unfortunately its an issue with persistent disk, we are backing up the data and there will be a hardware replacement, these regions should be up in 1 day max. We apologize for the downtime.
Players that were not able to join because of this, I have managed to find a workaround for you to be able to join the network, just not access your region yet.

Hello, I am syncing a fix for the smithing table, some people will get kicked, if you do, it means your region should have the fix for it.
Solved the issue of users that had connections open with the server while not being connected, whoever had issues with connecting now should be able to join again.
There were changes on the spawner formula that have fixed a few issues, now, 100% the more spawners you have the more it will keep generating.
I am aware that there are a few connectioin issues on-going atm, please contact us through tickets iof you are experiencing this, I need more players to report to search the issue.

We pushed a patch for bedrock timing out issues again, 1.20.10 still have timeout issues for specific players, for now player's wont be able to see their /ping if they are on bedrock.

I forgot to give an update, there was a maintenance on the EU side of the world where one big fiber cable that travels the ocean stopped transferring data, that's why those "lags" this morning, situation was quick because they rerouted it all :).
Hello guys, one quick update for you all!
We have changed the way that we do the key-alls, from now on you will get a key for every 1h of online-time that you have on the server, this means you have to stay online for 1 hour (does not have to be in a row), and you will get the key, the time accumulates.
BY the time accumulating, if you join the network tomorrow after leaving with 20m left today, you will still have the 20m left tomorrow!
We went ahead nad we added a lot of the options of blocks here into our Anti ESP system, if you can, avoid placing these typs of blocks in your main spawner base, so that you don't get as raided as easy.
Another tip for building non radaible bases is, build very close to bedrock and avoid big bases as well ๐

A few bedrock bugs were fixed with a restart that was done a second ago, if you're bedrock you got disconnected from the network, so if you were afk you'll probably have to join back again ๐

- Fixed the auction search not working properly
- Fixed teams not loading, which would cause team functions not to work
- Fixed the team leader not taking damage from the members when crystal explodes.
- We fixed the /hide disappearing time from time when you connected to another world regions.
- We have added a teleport trapping prevention system that won't let you guys go to unsafe zones anymore, like void traps specifically.
- Fixed combat logging issue.
- You cannot use or wear elytra on combat now, no matter what, this will replace your elytra with your chestplate if you have one in your inventory.

- We changed a bit on the chat algorithms, now there's not going to be that much spamming like "Tpas for 1v1 tpa for gear tpa for loot"
- Fixed an issue in the spawners system turning into different spawners.
- We released a new /spawn and /afk area systems, as some of you know already, our game is based on regions, our /spawn and /afk now will give you the option on what region you want to go to (meet up friends etc)
- We added back the option to do /ping on players, as well as fixed the way the ping was getting calculated.
- The auction search had a small glitch on specific items and this was fixed.

I am here to announce an update we've been preparing, this will make our game a lot cleaner and should increase your experience on DonutSMP!
Here is a list of changes:
- We completely changed the messages on systems to make our game cleaner, less spammy.
- In the last few days you've noticed we have been working a LOT in our chat system, we added a lot of new algorithms to prevent chat spamming and bad words, our chat is a lot less of a mess now!
- We changed the /rtp to show the real-time player count of the users in each region, and we also added a new /spawn and /afk, this will give you ability to choose where you're going to, and also for overworld etc to see how many players are there.

This has been a version that's been on await for quite some time, we have been looking for it for a bit already and this has a lot of optimizations that will benefit of all us!
As just an information for you guys, don't use 1.20.2 yet. All the entire Minecraft Community software is still getting ported to it (a good server software still hasnt released yet too), this version changes many things for us developers, so it might take another day or so. Just make sure to other versions.
For notice guys, 1.20.2 is still on beta release, so we're not supporting it yet, all software is still getting ported to it, as soon as things gets stable we'll update the network for it, just keeping you guys on the loop!

- Spawners are now working
- Fixed the issue where buying from /shardshop on afk areas and other regions did not give the spawners.
- Fixed missleading keyall message saying "Ultra".
- Fixed /worth showing the wrong amounts (They were real amount * real amount - so o^2)
- Fixed the infinite combat timer on users.
- Fixed the leaderboards not going to next pages.
- Fixed the eye of ender not working, now it will send you to the stronghold location always.
- Fixed the chat /settings working the other way around.
- Now there are only 20 spawns, this is to make the spawn area more active, (we all know you love spawn 1 with rtp zone <3)
These are just some fixes that we did, we are working a lot more to get the server fully fully stable for everyone to play without a single issue daily.
Apart of the subject here, I would like to send some love to @narrow bough, for those who don't know nathan has joined our team about a month ago, and he's been helping us a lot to get this new season done as well, so let's send some cheers to our new family member.

We found the causes of the data losses and we fixed them.
Here's the thing, we will wait for tonight at the very night, and then we will update all of the systems on the overworld to fix the issue, if you have suffered from this and have proof, it's good to contact us so we can confirm.
We are also aware that some users don't see the scoreboard, the same time tonight we'll be releasing the fix for this.

Hey guys we are currently updating the overworld, we are aware soime of you are getting RTPED when going to homes, this is getting fixed.
after the overworld our SPAWN will update.
We fixed some lag spikes on the network and the nether portals too.
The RTP to the end will not be getting released right now because we're having an issue where elytras are not spawning on end cities,
we have to get this sorted out before you guys can go to it.

Hey guys, we have finally fixed every single lag that we had, we actually ended up identifying multiple small sources of issues.
One thing that we identified was that FOUR of our machines has a hardware problem, the hard drive (disk NVME) is having performance issues, causing the NA EAST to be the last one with the MSPT spikes.
To avoid this issue I am going to be moving these regions to machines I believe are healthy this night, this might mean a small downtime on these regions, I am going to keep you updated about this before executing any actions.
The nether is moving, I am going to start with nether5, nether6, nether7

- We fixed the iron golem spawners not generating loot.
- Fixed some users getting stuck on the duel arenas, if this still happens to you after this message contact on ticket ASP.
- Now on the duels the opponent is the only user that will show up in TAB for you.
- We wrote our own scoreboard system and now it won't break anymore, it was breaking because of network issues, but now it's not going to happen again)
- We fixed the /stats not showing the right amount (this is still getting pushed to the network so this might not be visible to you in the next 40 minutes or so)
- You are no longer able to rename items with anvils.

We fixed some issues with the Anti cheat false banning some players, if this happens to you always create a ticket on #โ๐ซโบโธtickets with a ban appeal, we're always trying to improve our systems and we would like to also increase your experience as a player.
We've done some changes on the matchmaking systems to try to find matches faster, and we also fixed an issue with the system that would sometimes not send you to a match, this should not happen anymore, and if it happens after this message was sent make sure to create a ticket, we are rewarding users that also report bugs to us, so always report any issues you have with the network.
This includes anything that you think it's a bug, we're always all ears to everything you guys have to say.
We also heard you and we increased the mobspawn rates of the pillager outposts, they should be spawning more frequently now

Hey guys, we are aware of the small issue that happened this morning on EU, if you had a ticket about it and your situation was not resolved please recreate a ticket!
DonutSMP patch
- Now if you click on the auction sort button it won't move your mouse to the middle of the screen, this also applies to the confirm button.
- We fixed the statistics tracking of blocks broken and placed, users that played before this patch will unfortunately remain with the wrong stats but newer acquirement will be alright.
- You can open shulkerboxes and break them during the duel, meaning while fight is ongoing.
- When you die in any area the world chunks does not disappear anymore (1.20.2 bug).
- The spawners no longer are tracked with the entity limiter, to avoid players loosing them, this is the same for shulkers.
- You can now type /home <number>
- You can now type /spawn <number>
- You can turn on/off the scoreboard in /settings now.
- You can disable the confirmation menus for the tpa requests using /settings.
- Now /tpaccept will accept/open to confirm the most recent tpa request sent to you.
- We launched 3 new afk areas
- You cannot type /home while in casual queue anymore.
- When you're searching on the auction, the correct number of pages for the results now shows up.
- Now you can use auctionhouse when the duel is over.
- The chat clears when you enter a duel match.
- Now setting respawn points on DonutSMP will work, so if you have a bed and set a respawn point everytime you die you will go to that coordinate, if your region is online.
- Now Donut+ users and higher up have access to the /fly command.
- There's a double jump in the afk area now.
- When you click on the spawner now you have the same messages as /sell.
- Now you can see all crafting recipes when playing DonutSMP.
- When your items are bought from the auction you'll receive a message just like /sell does, with the amount you gained from it.
- Fixed the sound not playing on the paging systems on auction and other.
- Added a quiet lobby system to /spawn so there's no sound spamming, this system comes activated by default due to a lot of users wanting it.
- The duel request setting now fully works. You can disable/enable and users will/will not be able to send you requests anymore.
- When you click respawn on the duels now it'll respawn you at the exact spawn location you died at.
- We increased the time it takes for items to disappear in the overworld
- Now /spawn and /afk have a button to teleport you to the server with the lowest playercount (the button between two arrows).
- You can no longer sell spawners at all on auctionhouse, even trying to put it on shulkers or other storage containers.
- Fixed some inventory loss issues with players getting kicked for time out.
- Fixed inventory not dropping on the ground when getting banned by the anticheat.
- Fixed a bedrock client crash when joining donutsmp due to unknown craft recipe.
- The duels TABLIST now only shows your enemy, this is the same for the chat, the network chat will not be synchronized with the duels system anymore.
- Now /settings is available on the duel arenas, you can also use /stats and /leaderboards as well.
- Now the private message settings on /settings works, people will no longer be able to message you if you have it disabled.
- Added the shield breaking sounds to the duels.
- Fixed an issue with auction house where if you sold items while being offline sometimes it would not add it to your balance.
- You can now break all blocks except the walls when the duel is over.
- Changed the duels collection of loot time to 4 minutes instead of two.
- You can no longer stand on the block of the NPCs, causing people not able to use it.
- The RTP Zone now teleports you into a circle, the circle will increase its radius the more players there are, everyone spawns looking at the middle of the circle aswell.
- When you do /ah <search pattern> it will no longer ignore the 2nd or other arguments, now it will search correctly such as:
/ah golden apple. - Removed all of the ice from the spawn, and blocked users able to use the Frost walker on the ocean there.
- Now the player visibility settings on the /settings will fully work at spawn and afk areas.
- Now /team join has support for the team name, so you can now do /team join WalksyCat. If you are invited to the WalskyCat team.
- Now teams can no longer have the same name, before the teams names would be case sensitive, this is no longer the case.
- /team invite now autocompletes players names.
- Fixed the settings of explosion sounds and explosion particles, they will are now going to be working all of the time.
- Fixed the issue where non-teammate users would be glowing (only the team will glow from now on)
- Now the totem particle setting only applies to other players, you will still see your totem popping with the animation and particles on your screen.
- The transactions page on the auction house now counts the pages that there are.
- You are now able to see chests, shulker boxes etc in a player-range distance, which will make those blocks stop "disappearing" on your screen.
- The enderchest sound no longer plays at spawn if you have quiet lobbies/spawn enabled, only your opening of enderchest will play.
- Upgraded the /sell system, now you will only unlock the multipliers and you need to claim them, it is no longer automatic claiming anymore.
- Now totems cost $1250 on the shop
- You are no longer able to queue with the same users in the casual duels for 2 rounds in a row.
- If you log out of combat you will no longer spawn in the death spot, neither if you are kicked on combat as well.
- Changed prices of the spawners on the /shardshop, this also applies to the keys as well, the new prices are on /shardshop, you can check it out.
- Changed the price of end crystals on shop to $350.
- Skeleton spawners will now generate 1 arrow and 2 bones per minute.
- Changed the price of some items in game:
Arrow is now worth $1.20
Gunpowder: $1
Moss: $0.25
Cactus: $1.5
Brick: $2 each
Sugar cane: $2.5 each
There's some more changes coming on the next 2 days and i'll release notes about them as soon as they're on the network.
I think i forgot to mention that the borders on the duels are not glitchy anymore

DonutSMP Patch 2
- You can no longer place armorstands at spawn or afk areas.
- You can search for specific enchantments on the auctionhouse now. such as: /ah mend 1, or /ah prot 4
- Now the sort function in auction will be remembered.
- Now there's a max number of villagers on a range of 200 block radius.
- Now you can do /team chat or use /settings to enable your team chat, while the option is on you cannot see the global chat anymore.
- Changed the colors of /msg to fit the network theme, messages should be a lot more clear and readable than they were before.
- Fixed some people not able to join the duel servers because of last connected position on the server.
- Added /team info <team name>
- Fixed player head skin not working on /team menu.
- Fixed so when you log out the boats/villagers disappear.
- Fixed so when you RTP the boats/villager disappear.

- Fix the TPA accept sending the user who's teleporting "TPA accepted" on chat, now it'll have the username of the user who accepted instead.
- Now ranks have stacking icons, if you're media you will also have the donutplus icon following your own icon. (This applies to the prefix above head, etc)
- Now death messages will show up for the users who's on the closest to the death location.
- Now there's a /duel spectate <player>
- Fixed the glitch where you get 20 shards if you kill someone sometimes.
- You can disable sound notifications now with /settings.
- Spectator chat on the duels is now full italic.
- Fixed some users stuck on the duel servers after disconnecting from the duels.
- Fixed users able to set respawn points with beds on illegal areas like duels. (If you have one area that's like this, it will simply not work anymore.
- Added enderman sound when you teleport to certain regions with commands such as home, tpa etc.
- Added the multiple pages system to the your items page on auction house.
- Fixed title inside /shop confirm menu titles, we also changed the confirm and cancel buttons to match every other network button too.
- Fixed /delhome <number> deleting the wrong home.
- Fixed the /home <number> or the /delhome <number> when the number is negative, making you go to wrong positions aswell.
- Fixed the issue with the duels of playing multiple sounds at the same time.
- Fixed sometimes players loosing their inventories when spectating duels, this is because users join exactly when the duel ends.
- Fixed /stats not visually showing the right blocks placed amount.
- Fixed if you get kicked after the duel ends you loose your inventory.
- I believe the issue with loosing inventories when going through end portals is fixed, if it is not please create a ticket and let us know!
- Fixed /team disband giving errors if the user is not the owner, now it'll just open the /team leave menu.
- You can now disable the music that is played after the duel ends with a /settings option.
This is currently getting synced to the network, so your region may be outdated withint hte next 20 minutes when this message was sent!

- Optimized the ANTI ESP for tile entities.
- Signs with text should not be affected by ESP anymore, which was causing some signs to not have text and only show again after relogging.
- Fixed users not receiving the purchases sometimes at spawn.
- You can search for potions on auction house now, example? /ah strength, /ah strength 2, /ah strength 1.
- Fixed so when you open the crates and click to select one item with inventory full you'd loose the key.
- Fixed if users get kicked while spectating they loss their inventory, exactly when the fight ends.
- Fixed so if you join the duel exactly when it ended it it would say could not find a arena for you, and then loss of inventory.
- Now you can reply or send messages while on a duel.
- Now spawners will use/and update the sell multiplier.
- Now your inventories for high ping users will load instantly, this is the same for the item you were holding.
- Recipes no longer are spamming discovery on every time you join (we apologize a lot for this)
- Now there won't be any annoying notifications on your screen when you move to another a part of the world.
- chunks are processing a lot faster now, videos attached show example, this increases the experience on the duels!

We're aware of issues in Europe and there is not much we can do since its Christmas day. The EU region is experiencing high levels of packet loss towards our East region slowing down teleports and timing out players.
DonutSMP Patch 4
- Now in duels you will take some more damage from borders, and you automatically take damage when you're outside, no matter the distance like it was before.
- If you starve to death your food level will now be what it should be. (20)
- You are not able to do /sell on combat anymore.
- The auto sell hoe sells everything you break, not only crops anymore.
- Removed iron golem spawners from the crates.
- Fixed the /rtp "You can't rtp for ." error, it wont happen anymore.
- Fixed the double death messages and when you dc sometimes it'd count the death as 2x.
- Added so /shards now shows your shards, or /shards <name>.
- Other colored shulkerboxes don't count anymore on the entity limiter, so you won't loose them in raid farms anymore.
- Fixed /spectate not working for the duels.
- Fixed auction house claim glitch.
- Duel spectators can no longer interact with crystals.
- Now you can explode blocks and crystals after the duel ends.
- Now you can click on the send tpa message in chat to accept it, not only the blue part with [CLICK TO ACCEPT], should be easier to accept with chat now!
- You will no longer receive a title when selling something on auctionhouse.
- You cannot use weakness arrows on the casual duels anymore.
- If you loose 5 casual duels match in a row you will have to take a break for 10 minutes now.

Hello everyone, I'd like to let you guys know that this problem was fixed, interesting enough, minecraft can't handle a lot of chunks at once in the client without sometimes dying (thanks to mojang - it seems they process chunks on the communication threads ... ) this shouldnt affect your gameplay anymore,
the chunk optimizations will remain on the duels and spawn, but it won't be applicable in overworld anymore unfortunately, since it lags people's games.
The overworld will be updating in about 2 minutes with the fix for this

Hello everyone, just as a heads up, if you are seeing some of the zombified villagers dying, this is because of the entity limitor! some people are creating ticket asking what this is, it's not a bug! There's a villagear limit of 20 villagers on a radius..
As a reminder again as well, please update your bedrock clients to the latest, we're seeing users create tickets using the version 1.20.12, this is very outdated, we only support 1.20.41+, we always recommend updating to the latest available version.
We're aware of network degradation between US East region and our EU region, this may lead to teleporting taking up to about 25 seconds for you to load in between these regions and is something we're working on.

- Now /team kick <name> auto completes the team members.
- Now /team will auto complete with more meaning, such as /team sethome if without a team will say no team, and goes on to other options as well.
- Now the /team menu will have multiple member pages (the limit is still 50 members max)

- Now when a member joins the team there's a notification sent to every single member on the server.

We know most of our chat is people trying to tpa and that's one of our essences, but we also understand other's players needs and we would like to provide you this new setting, it should reduce the spam on the chat, and should help with creating new player interactions, this setting is on beta, if you find bugs with it let us know ๐

I would like to let you guys also know that me and @narrow bough are working on a good solution for these lag spikes that are constantly happening on Europe, next week or so we will be trying some new stuff and it should resolve a lot of the issues with Europe already, this should also reduce player's ping by a bit, since the location of Europe will likely move closer to the user's even more.

Very sorry for the inconvenience caused with this, within a week we hope to have resolved all issues revolving around player disconnects and mediocre server quality due to network issues.

- Users with no ranks no longer can fly at spawn (expired ranks)
- Fixed some perks of the rank not disappearing after it's expired.
- Fixed the spawn location spawning in the wrong block, and the position of the view.
- Now users don't show up directly on the 0,0 spot, once you move you'll see the users afk, won't obstruct your view anymore.
- There's a maximum limit of alt accounts online now, this number is 3. (Users caught bypassing this will get permanently banned on all accounts - including main, so don't even try..)
- Now you can trade with renamed items on billford, such as COMMON pickaxe upgraded with netherite and others.
- Fixed RTP cooldown issue counting if you moved while teleporting, it would still set you on cooldown.

Hey guys, you guys know that auction issue that you guys have been experiencing right.. Now it's fully, we investigated the issue and we realized that it's actually a performance problem,
a disk of our main essetnial services was getting "hammered" with some IO operations, and our auction service was writing to the disk at the same time that the disk was getting hammered,
so there was some extra latency on some ops, that's why it would say "auction is restarting", now the issue has been fixed.

Hey everyone, just to let you guys know too, we have started the moval of the Europe side to Falkestein on Germany, this will lower the Europe users from Germany ping on about 12-15ms, and will slightly increase if you live on UK, this is to improve the experience of the germany players (which are 90% of the European side).
As a notice, we'll be implementing our Asia region very soon, we're doing some network changes to make sure we can accomodate all of the players without issues or lag when we launch this region, this region will have both overworld and duels.
Fixes and changes:
- We have fixed a small issue with ping calculation that would also cause a small lag on some regions.
- We fixed an issue with respawning on the duels.
- We fixed the last small data loss issues that were affecting a very very small number of players(literally very small).
- We have increased the villager limits slightly, villagers are now 35 (they were 20 before).
- Improved the chat filter a bit more, there will be even less false flags on the filters now.
- Now the chat filter auto punishes users if they say bad things in chat, so be aware.
- Fixed a small sound issue with the sell wand.
- The change of the 3x crop booster will remain until Monday night EST.
- Now unsafe teleports are also added to overworld.
- Updated the spawner GUI theme to match the others.
- Fixed issue with bounty messages.
- Now if you are teleporting to someone and they get in combat your teleport will be cancelled.
- teleport requests now override older ones, not like before where you could stack 2 requests.
- Our work on the language program continues, soon this system will be out in beta.

- Fixed flying objects on the duels map.
- Now if your rank expire you still keep access to the homes you have, and you'll only loose access if you delete them.
- Fixed issue with the fast crystals on the world - also fixed the extra delays that there were (we had to investigate a lot and this is due to the software we used)
- Teleporting speeds were improved alongside some other actions if you have high ping.
- We increased the view distance of players on spawn.
- Do not disturb mode was removed, it is no longer a setting.
- Added a block entity limit due to people building extremely big hopper farms that cause lag.
- We will soon be changing the speed on which hoppers vs minecarts transfer (With the goal of making minecarts a lot faster transfering so you guys also stop using hoppers - and have a better alternative.)

- Fixed some anti cheat false bans to bedrock users.
- Fixed issue with servers crashing on Netty threads due to anticheat (would break RTP and going to your base)
- Fixed the issue of contact Pedro in discord, due to wrong region location.
- Not announced before but the shard booster is now 2x, and reminder it lasts 24 hours.
- Changed so that action bars can now override another if one is already showing, this was done to make it more visible but it seems to make it look buggy to some players.
- Now auction search lets you search for custom items like drill, shard booster, and others, without it being dictated by the item type or vanilla name.
- Fixed issue on disconnect issue on West for bedrock users.
- Improved slightly the accuracy of the auction search to some potions.
- Removed the switching loading terrain screen in the same dimension, you should notice this on the transitions between: overwrold, spawn, AFK and duel servers.
- Fixed issue with custom characters on the chat filter being bypass, for teams and /msg.
- Added a hovering showcase on the chat where it shows user's stats when they chat.
- Changed the way /hide transforms the user, this is likely what's causing the hidden player issues for some reason.
- Removed the queue for a lot of the teleports, this will remain on the rtp zone due to the amount of players that there could be in it.
- Fixed issue with respawns on the Overworld sending to 0 0 location first and then tping back to the right position.
- Fixed memory issue on the duels servers.
Notice for people from AS, around Asia such as Australia, and others around this part, I am making the commitment to you guys with Nathan that we will be launching the Asia region in DonutSMP until Wednesday of this week.
The issue where the death screen does not show up directly is due to proxies, we'll have to update them, we can do this tomorrow night after the 1.20.4 and that's where you can expect this to be fixed. (The glitch with chain gear on death is fixed with this change here ^).

I want to give you guys a good explanation and reason to why this happened and why we had to move Europe to na for now.
As all of you know, and I say this with huge pleasure and excitement, also pointed out by donut too on #โ๐โบโธnews , we are the first Minecraft server to do a full scale global network, we have all of the continents in our planet on DonutSMP. This comes with extreme challenge, we spend day and night finding solutions for this, we rely on internet to work and a lot of the times the internet decides to break cross continents. We look for stability, what happened there is a internet issue, we had extreme high packet loss from Europe to na and so fourth, and this is due to outages on ocean cables, yes, this goes this deep.
I believe it's important that we are transparent with you in all means, and that's why I'm saying this, we're working on this issue but as very unfortunate as it is the things we can do only go so far, and at this point we rely more on other's active work on stability than actually we doing it.
This is why sometimes bugs affect you, I ask you guys have understanding and be patient with us, we are breaking the limits here to make sure that we can have everyone with a good and low ping on DonutSMP, without isolating your experiences in our game, this is what we work hard for, just like we've done last season as well. We will solve this and we will solve the next and the next problem, because this is what we do, we turn the impossible into a possibility.

Guys, just in case you're bedrock and experiencing "Server sent a broken packet", please update your client. You're running an outdated version of bedrock, the latest version is 1.20.80 and it's always recommended to be up to date.

We are aware of the issue, our hosting provider is having some issues currently which is out of our hands.
They are fixing it as soon as possible.

with this on the mind, we're waiting for software-support, so if you're on 1.20.81 and getting "server sent broken packet", there's two alternatives, wait or downgrade your client until I post here that support for 1.20.81 was added.
Bedrock support for 1.20.81 should already be present, if you're getting the "server sent broken packet still" contact us in a ticket, this'll be because of a possible ban/etc.

EU regions will be moved from Germany to France in an effort to increase stability on the network. There will only be a mild ping increase for those who are closer to Germany than to France.

For your information guys, if you play on west and see a region in maintenance, its because one of the machines had a faulty hardware, they're looking to investigate if it's the ram or cpu so those regions will be down for now. (3 areas)

We have moved our EU proxy into the new location (Paris, France). Players on EU regions will now get the correct ping for the future. Ping to East regions should decrease but will decrease further. Bedrock players are still on higher ping and will reduce shortly.

Hey guys, a small little notice as well for European players, I know a lot of you have issues with the store due to not having PaySafecard Support. We managed to get it added there so it should work now.
We have fixed the issue with the store on the Donutplus section where it wouldn't let you change the currency! (if anyone had an issue with this and now is able to purchase let me know in a ticket)

This is a test, and may stop working at any time, to participate on the test is simple:

So, quick announcement here, there's a new setting in game, currently available for donutplus users only (once I confirm it's stable I'll release to everyone).
This setting is about base safety and block-rotation prevention.
Keep in mind this might have a few bugs, so if you experience something feel free to report on #โ๐ซโบโธtickets.
This does not protect you against leaking bedrock, but it means bedrock players are able to screenshare etc now if you have this setting on, as itll not leak your coords or make your base able to get rotated easily.
We have deployed a new Bedrock proxy in EU due to crashes, we have been aware of an issue with connecting via Bedrock on EU for the last 3 days now and has been fixed, it will sync in about 10 minutes. Sorry

Fun fact, just because Asia and Oceania LOOK like they have less players, these regions have a LOT more average players within their borders than other regions like EU, West and East. Building a base in Asia or Oceania will not reduce your likeliness of your base being raided but will most likely increase it.

Hello guys. Currently there is an issue with the voice chat mod due to the amount of players we have. As of now the only solution I have to provide is that you delete a file if you're experiencing client freezing on donutsmp,
The file is located in ./minecraft/config/ in the folder voice chat mod. The file name is username-cache.json, and if you're experiencing freezings this file should be quite large. We recommend you delete it.
There has been an update to the system in which this would no longer happen. You should update your mod from modrinth as soon as it is updated there.

Our hosting provider has posted an incident notification about ping in the Oceania region. Ping between Asia and Oceania and possibly between EU/USA and Oceniaia will be effected and may effect your ping when playing Donut. If you have bad ping, try and use asia.donutsmp.net and avoid playing Oceania servers until it is resolved.
We are aware the server is lagging currently and recently too, we are working on a fix for it but it is complicated to resolve. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello guys. On the past few days I know a lot of you guys had issues with cheaters. We worked hard and we managed to bring the anticheat back without causing lag which was our main concern, now things should be running better and we managed to make sure that this sort of thing will never happen again.
I also just fixed a small issue with bedrock movement, a few teleport backs (rare), they are fixed now mostly. the systems are updating
Some bedrock issues are happening with some of you that use bedrock with menus are happening, this is due to the software that runs the compatibility, I'll soon update things again to see if it'll resolve

I want to remind some people that if you've been experiencing some lag on Donut, this is getting worked on, but it's not easy for me to solve because it's from 2 different sources in 2 different areas.
Our AC(Anti Cheat) is basically ALMOST Brand new, beforehand we used to run one for almost 2 years and we're working on this new one, but it sometimes have some issues and flaws, it takes time to get things fixed.
The second one is the software we run, which has a good design but it's not so great if you're playing with a lot of people in small areas like rtp zones, so this issue is getting worked on, but it's also not easy to fix. Without this software you guys wouldn't be able to run these mass scale farms you run on DonutSMP. so we maintain it and work on the possible fixes for it in the mean time.
I ask people to be patient and stop with the bad toxic comments, they don't help and they'll just make it so you probably get banned, so instead either try to help or just hold on.
Also don't forget we run mass numbers so that doesn't help either with resources ๐

The update is almost finished but basically we've been planing, we have moved europe regions into 2 different areas, Frankfurt and London, (EU West and eu Central accordingly).
This should bring a good latency for both regions instead of only benefiting one like it was before, they are already split on the /rtp.
I want to mention aswell that in the following days we'll re-work how the ping is being measured on the /rtp, alonside between regions, this should likely lower your visual ping on /rtp or scoreboard aswell, as these might be slightly be wrongly measured.
Keep in mind, Europe duels will split tonight between these two, for now they're the same region
We're updating the world right now with a fix for some mass lag spikes that were ocurring, this should help resolving the main issue

Hi guys. A few important changes here we've done to the game yesterday.
Auction search: now you can search for amethyst items like /ah amethyst pickaxe, and it works for potions and potion levels aswell.
Combat change: if you're in combat with two players and one leaves, you no longer get out of combat, both need to either leave or die for you to get out of combat (or the combat timer run out), there is also a fix for the timer, which used to jump from 20 to 18 or so.
Ignored people: Now if you ignored someone, if they type on a sign, you will not see what they wrote, I will send two clips showing the auction and ignore change.

Hi guys. I'm pushing a Beta test for maps that is going on overworld right now. If you have a map with a build on it, you need to go to the place you built it at, and drop it on the ground or pick it up, so that the system can resync the map. Make any tickets related to bugs if necessary.
Maps are quire complicated, so we will see how this will work.
Btw a few maps might be slightly glitchy because of the way maps are id'd and where yoy kept them after this fix. So it might be worth you regenerate them as a new item.
Maps are going to be temporarily disabled until we can add safety on the images to guarantee no one builds or spreads anything inapropriate. I cannot guarantee yet when this will happen, but it should not be a long time.
Sorry about the server lag when we have higher playercounts. We bought a lot more machines, but our server provider is out of machines and it's taking them a long time to get us some new ones. But thank you all for playing. The amount of people recently is crazyyyy

the order slowdowns on peak times and so on were fixed, this was due to a lot of people using it concurrently.
We are also pushing a fix for the entity limit issue that was arrising on a few stashes/farms.
I will lower the price of pickles by $1 soon. I just wanted to give you all a warning before I do. I know a lot of people will be upset, but it's better to balance all the methods, so that the only way to make good money is not just pickles.

Apologies for the kick with Asia, this has been resolved and will not happen again. We're working on improving stability across the whole network and have deployed changes to stop the overworld crashing and remove a few issues with players (excluding PS5 Bedrock) not being able to run commands.
There's two areas that are down right now, this is due to a desync in our system, nathan will be sorting it out soon then they will be coming back online.

We've identified a large cause for lag on EU Central during peak and are working around it, this should significantly reduce lag during peak and make the region feel a lot better
These changes above have been pushed, you will start to feel less lag as time goes on. This no longer applies to just EU Central but every region on the network, although you will feel the change the most if you are from EU due to the size of the region
We're aware of the problems, our hosting provider is having significant connectivity issues in EU Central, we're working on it as best as we can.
^ This appears to be mostly resolved. I would be cautious about entering fights however since there is still work being done by the provider and more lag could occur

Our hosting provider is still experiencing issues and may cause disconnects, we will update when they have marked it as resolved.
Changes have been applied to users around Sweden, Denmark and Norway to bring ping back down. We recommend re-logging if you currently have high ping.
A patch is going out to fix "You are already online" errors and also random disconnects from the server, for example, randomly getting "Timed Out" for no reason.
