I've only modded cms once, but it was with my much less powerful computer, I havent downloaded any since, I've just been playing with the dlc I have all of them. I'd definitely recommend the ford dlc and the jeep for content in numbers, but for quality I'd suggest Bentley, pagani and the porsche as the engines are kind of insane to work on

CMS has so many mods it's insane. I try to install almost every mod that pops up on the workshop

you can, but dont expect to be wow'd with the driving physics

You can drive them, tune them if you download the complimentary dlc, you can restore, engine swap, upgrade parts the driving physics arent all that great but it is still fun

I have 148 hours on cms, but I havent been able to play it as much recently sadly

i have 180 hours, and same. imo, the career is too grindy, and the sandbox mode gets super repetitive for me

buy car, strip down, repair rust, install new hardware, and paint

I ended up looking for the career promocode due to that, it gives you all the xp points and enough cash for a couple vehicles

yea i figured out the story cars are pretty picky. you have to replace the bad parts with 100% condition parts. nothing less

That explains a lot, I had one that I had full reassembled and I did not feel like breaking it down again which made me look for a way to just skip the story line

if a story car wont let me finish the job because of unrepaired parts, i click the star on the work order, and it highlights the exact part on the car
