American Truckers usually want long sleepers.

Because of the length restrictions before 1970s or 80s

Cabovers were all the rage in the past because they were short, and if the truck is short, you can stuff more payload into your trailer

But, they're restrictive, uncomfortable, and overall not a good living space

And they left a bad impression
