On small fields it’s just easier like that. After a few corners and once the trailer’s full, you wanna make space for the next tractor as fast as possible, so instead of turning around I just reverse.
Same on small fields where we go up and down the rows — sometimes backing up is just quicker than turning around.

I heard irl they use wheel loaders with big shovels to load trailers

which is the common way of transport in germany where i sit in, they use those drivesilos and put the grass on the ground, then condense it via driving over it

Yea, either that or in America and I think some parts of the world use a fermentation silo, talk silo with a blower to load and unload it, there’s a mod for one called “America silo pack” I believe or something along those lines
