Thought some of y'all might find this interesting, you can put a john deere MTG into anything to track any type or brand of equipment/vehicle.

For example we can see the chaotic mess of these 2 class combines that harvested some 300 acres today

And I can see they pulled into the field around 10:30am and they parked at 9pm

or 3 s780 combines from 9am to 9pm today 🙂

Well, an X9 1100 has better throughput, lower losses at least fuel consumption than a claas 8800, as well as infinitely better dealership support when it comes to repairs times and part delays.

8900 might be interesting, but in NA claas has a low resale value because of the very few and spread out dealers.

And the service parts thing is incredibly important. You don't sell equipment with a good sales team, you sell equipment with a good service team, and good part availability.

Any overseas manufacturer suffers automatically with the parts issues. I see it with JCB taking weeks to get parts across the country much less overseas.

Been away from mapping in such a long time due to being self-employed but really going to try and get this one out for FS25, its a 4 kilometer map from North to South, east and west are a little different due to the size of England, but going to add try and add a little of each part of the country as I can to this map to make it be completely different from what we always play 😉

TY for your kind words and agree certain areas that we come from we tend to stick to those, I always wanted to create an American map, and did start the Millennial farmer map 4X4 as most his fileds are not within the 2k radius, Might still be a idea on the go after the release of this one Who knows I just need to get back into mapping

Ireland I was going to use a lot of cattle and Grassland, I know England has that also but will concentrat of Ireland having a lot more Fields and Grass

That picture above is zoomed out and if i was honest there is nothing worth looking at if I zoomed in, but that is how it looks in GE atm, and will make a plan for areas that are going to be 1-Forestry aimed 2-Animals 3-keeping the production stuff so you need to travel and not just around the corner, trying also to keep things in mind for people wanting to edit this map to their liking also by making things destroyable so you can make this place your own, only thing Up till now as did see something fro the mention of paintable raods for 25, but this map will have 1 main road through North and South Generally classed as the M1 ( A1M ) which ever but will only have this as a backbone to connect to other areas

I used to be a member of Mappers Paradise back in the day along with some other great mappers

i think it would be nice and british and irish people would appreciate if the plots of land were divided into the different provinces/sections of each country, then they would be able to buy a plot where they actually live and base their farm there

i do think though that a 4x map of just ireland would have more space land, and less ocean, and would allow for more detail, as it is a smaller island than great britain

There will be separated from start, was thinking England as a start off area Home but the area's within will be purchaceable within their certain area's, but also as I just noticed you mentioned a 4 x map of Ireland would I agree be better for space but this is of a unique area that has not been produced before and England being the shape it is, makes it that more vast with water as it is over a Ireland so to speak

I could do a little prefab of grey area that shows you just how much area from a 2k map over a 4 k map looks like

might give a better look at England as it does look thin down the middle to farm

but I assure you its a good drive from East to west

Most likely the size of a standard 2 k map more or less

Yeah agree, have my version of drystone wall that is from a download I paid for, added it to Blender and made it have 3 LOD's just for performance reasons, panning back you can hardly see the difference on the model, but massive on performance 😉

yeah, i bet your current idea leaves more than enough space for everything, but if i were to do something like a whole country, i would focus on the more square shaped ireland to leave less space as water and more as usable, detailed land

I do plan on having it for machinery also
ie: tight areas for old machinery and no movement for error, mid machinery for people that just like to be in control of the newish equipment available, and there will be some big fields that require them horses to carry out the job in hand 😉
