if im running a ripper i dont do headlands until the end, then i do alternating rows. if im running a moldboard i will try and "find" a deadfurrow and do two or three sections until the sections meet, then i'll start new sections

it really only depends on the crop and the style of ripper. if its an inline ripper like the sunflower in the picture then it really only needs to be done in high compaction areas and it is used a lot on soybean ground in my area to break up the sub surface compaction so corn can get a good root structure. if its like the john deere disc ripper then its used more for breaking compaction and sizing fodder on corn ground or in fields with a lot of thick fodder like milo, corn, oats, etc

here we have like 5 different style plows. moldboards have fallen out of use for the most part so chisel plows, V rippers, Inline rippers, disc rippers, and heavy discs are used more here

yes and no, moldboards go deep typically with a large surface pulling through the ground (for example the moldboard plow i bought off of my uncle was a deere 4 bottom with 11" moldboards) which takes up a lot of power from the tractor, where as a chisel plow or any style of ripper can do the same amount of work with more coverage while using less power and in a lot of cases can go a lot deeper than a moldboard. However, moldboards are still used to flip the soil entirely and they do a better job of it than a chisel plow or a disc ripper

the stalk itself is just the base game stalk, but the harvested fodder is from the westby, wisconsin map. you could prob pull it from the map and throw it in your base game textures to get it on every map
