I do agree, but it's usually more nuanced that people make it out to be. I'm pretty sure i've seen an official statement somewhere that because of nearing deadlines choices were made, but it could also be licensing issues.

I also agree that they should have finished the vehicles before releasing the game, but it's more nuanced that people make it out to be saying there's less vehicles.

1. FS25 is new, FS22 isn't and has had updates over 2 years.
2. FS25 shipped with more basegame vehicles and implements than FS22 when it shipped.

Almost all engine profiles and consumptions and such are identical accross all the tractors, only the "multiplier" of how much power things have varies.. and gear ratios and that sort of stuff. And the big fendts tend to have lower maxRpm.

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone else is still running into this issue?

Since FS25 launched, I’ve been having constant issues with performance, mainly VRAM problems, and it honestly feels like it’s getting worse with every update. Every time I launch the game my vram goes to full usage instantly, even in the game menu. I’m running an RTX 3080 10gb, but I still can’t play in 4K on even medium settings without problems.

The biggest issues are blurry or slow-loading textures, and frequent frame drops/stuttering. I’ve tried everything I can think of - updated drivers, tweaked all the settings, deleting shader cache, but nothing seems to help.

I’ve reported this bug to Giants multiple times since release.

Just wondering if anyone else is still dealing with the same thing or has found a fix that’s worked for them? Any advice would be seriously appreciated!

It's not a bug. You'll need about 7GB of VRAM for Ultra on 1080p, even more for 4k.

ik the game is vram heavy but 10gb in the main menu is a bit wild right? And a bit strange that my 3050 laptop can run the game at 4k medium pretty stable but my 3080 pc can't.

Naturally, depends on how much gear is visible, map, so forth, so on. And if you run something like reshade, the vram consumption goes even higher.

That 10G vram usage in menu is quite wild. It should be something like 1G. Are you sure you are not running any kind of post processing or extra shading of any kind?

Yesterday I read something about sounds problems, last night I've played on Nordfriesische land and i was switching between some tractors and when i came to my Fendt tractor and i realise he doesn't make a sound and then also the other tractors. Then I start other map (rottumer island) and then also no sound.. I went to bed and thinking thats a problem for tomorrow..😅

using bluetooth/wireless headset?

my solution for that is to locate the specific tractor that crashes your sound and then disconnect your headset and let the audio go on speakers go into that tractor turn it on and then reconnect the headset and should be fixed until you restart the game
you should have sound before doing this aka when you get in the savegame for the session do it with audio on speakers and then start the tractor or multiple of them and then connect to headset

I ran full speed with the adjustable ratio turned on, but the result was more yellow than green. And when I slowed down below 10 km/h, the result was green on the map instead.

you're gonna need both. grain trailer for emptying the grain from the harvester into and the bale trailer after you've baled the swathed straw

might have been mentioned before ! but is making hay broken atm, seems like any tractor I drive over grass with any implement on the rear (tedder etc:) just seems like the tractor is driving over a rocky road rather than grass.

it is a modded map I noticed it on, but not actually played in a while and thought it may have been after the latest update, I had a grass field which was possibly a high yield, and when I began to tedder it for hay the tractor and tedder were just bouncing around like crazy, so thought to downsize as it was the ingame 17 mtr one, the map is the flat acres on modhub and was only wanting to try the nexat dlc out which I purchased a good while back now, but yeah even on the vanilla games you can see the tractor bounce around, not as much as I used smaller equipment but I would not expect a vehicle to bounce as much as they do just driving over grass swaths.

so after looking back it seems once the tractor hits the hay, it leaves more a indentation into the ground then just driving over the field

Hi all, does anyone know if there is an autoload mod that would work with pallets of popcorn (from the alma missouri map) I am playing mp with someone on a console, so needs to work on console as well

I have drove over grass in the past and not noticed it like this before, that being said seems a little weird having this as a deformation to the land/field but only to be effected more if you drive over swaths or cut grass etc. if the weight of the vehicle was going to be creating a great deformation on a field I would expect this throughout the field and not just over the cut grass, as after the grass is windrow'd and you dive on the filed were there is no grass there no more, there is little to no effect of visuals of these deformations.

I did notice a few posts above of someone adding silage into a bunker and the ground outside the bunker deformed into the ground until the silage was picked up and the deformation vanished

will post a video later as tbh this would stop me from working on hay/silage with grass

With the mowed grass field you’re not deforming the field you’re only deforming the windrowed material

but this is my point if you were only deforming the windrowed material, that should not make the tractor bounce around like it was driving on rocks surely, I took a closer look as I was windrowing, and the tyre deformation is bouncing like mad and the ground itself looks like its swamped driving through it, but after your pass its all fine again
