Hey guys I’m having an issue with the game. Every time I launch the game I get a window from giants software that says it’s getting information from update server. If I let it run it runs for like 5 min and launches the game but I can’t play multiplayer or mod hub. If I exit out of the update server thing the game still launches but I have the same issues. I’m launching from steam and have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and verifying files.

Almost every machine and car you buy these days uses digital dashboards

I have a 2024 car and the dashboard is just a load of screens that can display custom themed displays of all data required. you can set it to mimic an analogue dash, but now the speed readout and fuel/temps are digital meters

Most tractors now don't have analogue dashboards, just a digital speed readout with a couple of meters off to the side

@fossil nexus It's not a bug, you just don't have enough VRAM in the GPU and the actuacation only improved VRAM consumption by features like FSR/DLSS but the more vehicles, tools, objects you buy the more it is consumed,

I previously thought that 8GB would be sufficient but I've seen some who were able to fill up over 9GB so just to be sure, it's best to have a card with 16GB of VRAM then you won't experience this problem

yeah, the power harrow part does not do power harrowy things when seeder is attached because of a game design choice, which basically means the whole deal is utterly useless. You will still have to make two passes and getting two pieces of gear with same power requirement provides much greater output due to workwidth and -speed.

So for fs25 i learned today that you can buy field that crops are ready on harvest them, then sell the land back immediately for the price you bought it for. I did this and leased a header for sunflowers and made 70k just from 3 fields lol nice money making "hack"

If your game keeps crashing shortly after opening your game, or if some graphics don't seem to work, then the shaders might be an issue.
To resolve this, you can go to Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator20XX and delete the folder called "shader_cache".

it kept causing my warthunder controls to lock so i went into the files, gave myself permission over that application and hid it and it removed the issue, now the issue is happening again which its done once before since i fixed it which was down to a windows update resetting the application

but the file is still hidden and i still have control over it

so it might just be my hardrive

True, I have gotten tractors to have air time on one axle irl after hitting bumps (most running at speed in a hay field with a disc mower making it very easy to pop front wheels up)

If you want to lift bales, either you need a super strength mod (Super Person for FS 22) or use the small, cheap baler which spits out lightweight rectangular bales. Even with the mini-bales, hay and straw are a hefty 32-35 kg, and undried grass bales are 80 kg or so, so heavy you'd probably need multiple people to lift them.

30k-50k lbs tractors have alot of suspension but game is game but also that small bump you are describing can irl be 30-40cm high which would definitly send tractor flying if bumped into

also most bales have standard sizes

and you can pick up the small square bales just fine

afaik the limit for picking stuff up in game is 200kg

which is cca 440lbs so i am not sure what you are going about or what you are mad about right now...if you can please expand on your question/post @steady niche

thats on you for not specifying the bale size, i automatically assumed you were talking about large square/round bales

as far as the second part goes, a 15mph bump hit could certainly get a tractor some airtime, especially when the rear axle hits as, lo and behold, it has no form of suspension there

the modern tractors have enough if its a small bump like 5-10cm....but tbh you wouldnt even notice that in game so that small bump is probably more of 20+cm which will definitly cause some air time 😄

And most tractors have not huge amount of suspension travel. On many the rear axle is not suspended either

In reality on UK roads you won't be able to travel at 50kph because it's not strictly legal and more to the point the roads are so rough you won't stay in the seat

Got a herculean combing contract to do this afternoon. Big field and it's miles from the sell point. Thinking will need to use our truck and lease a chaser bin to do it

I have driven modern tractors for years. There are very few roads where I would be comfortable running at 50kph because you get thrown about. 12 or 14 hours having your neck stretched all day. Nah thanks.

We havent had any problems with our kit, our valtra is a 19 plate and we still are yet to have anything other than a few software issues

because everyone is driving 40yr old tractors without any kind of suspension

i think he does not realize how far the suspension came....you have suspension on the drive train then cab suspension and then the seat suspension

if you arent driving on literall offroad terrain you usually cant feel anything
