You can try clearing your shader cache by navigating to Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2022 (or 2025) and deleting the shader_cache folder.
You may still encounter stuttering while the cache rebuilds but things may smoothen out for you afterwards.

Not really, game runs multicore, but physics is more and less capped to single thread on "collector" process, if that could be avoided, Giants would be doing some ground breaking stuff. There really aren't too many engines around that CAN split physics load to separate threads when they are used as they are in games like FS.

I have ran the games (19, 22, 25) extensively with load debugging on, I have pretty good understanding of what the game puts load onto. I'm quite sure you have not.

The game isn't putting full power of about any PC to uses either, due to reasons I have stated earlier, If you missed those, do read again.

The problem is this is that most games can apply render distance solutions to their games which can greatly improve performance as, the map is simply not loaded outside a certain distance and that, objects are set to lower quality or outright deleted untill a player is within the short range. Fs22 must load the entire map at all times. Sure they also apply the render distance, but in a much more limited fashion. So that. Your device whatever it may be. Is loading the entire map, no matter the size. At all times

I have yet to get a wheel, but I do like my t16000s, I have a dedicated flight sim setup as well. And I just switch over one of the thrustmasters. Works wonderfully. Huge fan of these sticks, very very good build quality. Lasted me like 5 years at this point

Yeah, there is a crude way of roughly telling partially what was updated.
When converting mods, what broke has been changed enough.

So really I have no say as it’s not designed for larger maps but still something new would be nice. My biggest problem is that 25 cant handle more than 8km with the new terrain system. performance wise.. you need same amount of texture for three types of roads on a standard and huge, that shouldn't be an issue. Not sure how the amount of splines (and NPC stuff on them) affects things. I believe NPC stuff is relatively cost effective.

Now, I don’t believe my pc will have an issue as this new one I got is built like a tank. The problem is how much the giants engine itself can handle on a map this scale. I don’t know anything about that. In testing I was able to place about 140 decoy houses and god knows how many trees before it started to take a hit, on a 20km test map. But idk

My pc has yet to go over 40% GPU and 35% CPU maximum useage or whatever the measurement is called

I don't think buildings are bad, they are relatively simple if you don't go to town with them, so to say. Trees and other foliage tends to be the issue at some point.

Hello everyone, I have a problem in multiplayer. I wanted to play with a friend on a server, me on PC and him on PS5. We first tried it with our own servers and then with a Nitrado server. I can access the server without any problems, but when he tries to join, the loading process stops at 60%. We managed it for a few minutes but then he just left the server again. Crossplay is activated. Does anyone have any ideas or tips as to what could be causing this?

It's usually Nat type xbox live system cache or needs an update
