Okay am I just stupid, or why is there some balers that have trailer attachments? What's the point of having a trailer attached behind the baler? I could maybe see for one of those autoloading baler mods, because then the finished bales end up right on the trailer immediately, but you still have to stop the baler every once in awhile to either get the bales onto a transport trailer, or detach and move them on their trailers and then bring them back. Unless there's a trailer that can unload bales onto other trailers? Like- I feel like I'm missing something as to why you'd want to attach something to the back of a baler

Some modded harvesters have configurable tanks up to like 22,000 litres. You could also go into the XML of your harvester and make it bigger

Okay small problem, I finally got around to baling, and uh- my balers are just... deleting what they collect???

Like, there's a progress bar that fills up, I assume that's meant to be percentage of one bale. But when it fills up, it just does... nothing. I can look up the output shaft thing to see inside the baler, and it is turned on, but nothing is filling up or trying to dispense. It's literally deleting anything it picks up

I've tried a couple different balers as well, and a couple different sizes, though all square bales

Fair enough. First I gotta figure out where the hell the bale counter is that's causing it. I disabled Bale Count System but in game, there's still a counter. So unless this specific baler has it's own counter, and something else is bugged, then I apparently had multiple baler counters somehow XD

Darn. Would be nice to have tbh. I mean most balers just dump stuff on the ground for you to collect, but a couple have trailer attachments. So I thought well, if you have a big field, you could run one of those with a trailer, and then basically chase it with your truck and it'll empty into the big trailer on your truck so you can sell them with that. But when you're not on the field because you're off selling what you got, the baler won't just dump things on the ground, it'll have the trailer as a buffer

So then you come back, and it unloads that trailer into yours

I think they do that for big grass mowers like the Krone Big X already, so I kind of wanted to try the same idea but with balers and bale trailers lol

I would imagine for some stuff, like grain trailers or something, it's likely possible to just go into that mod's files and change a value to increase or decrease it's capacity. If it just uses XMLs to define that stuff (and I think it does) then that's probably all that needs to be done. I don't know about bale trailers however, since those are physical objects too, not just like... a texture inside the trailer lol

Thought so, but wouldn't bales be harder because they are physical objects as well? It wouldn't make sense if you increased it by 2x. Either the stack of bales on the trailer because twice as huge, or it would take two bales before one appeared inside the trailer, if that makes sense

Whereas with grain, if you double the capacity, it'd just take twice as long to fill (so the texture that slowly fills up the trailer would just take longer to well.. fill the trailer loL)

Hello I have a little question here regarding finding a mod in game? I can find it when using browser which is why I'm asking. The mod in question is "AutoDrive" I can find it when searching for it on mod hub at my browser but not when I try to find it in game. Any idea why?

I am asking here because this isn't directly about the spesefics of a mod.

Probably a conflict caused between mods or something.

I don't think Steam uses it, in my case it's used for Power Tools though. And definitely doesn't crash my game at any point 😅

Alt-F4 seems to cause some issues though, my game does close when I hit that combination

Have you tried pushing them slightly? Did you is autoloading mod to deliver? If so try bringing your trailer near them and toggle load/unload. Got some of mine unstuck that way.

They may also need to be 100%, not sure on that though
