I bought a ten year old car at a dealership (in real life) almost two months ago and even that came full of fuel for me.

Well if you want to give yourself a less good deal, you could buy the vehicle and go into the save file to reduce the amount of fuel in the vehicle's XML 😅 Unless you can find a mod that does it for you somewhere on Google I suppose.

pallet autoload thingie on MH packs pallets sideways on those, since the pallets are more and less 80x120 you can fit the same amount of pallets in two rows being three wide and in three rows being two wide

and off the bat, no idea about any semi trailer that would have a hitch for a dolly in the back.

also, unless there has been a fix.. having multiple vehicles used in one train with that pallet autoload caused some kind of issues a while back. Might've been because the vehicle and trailer both had it, didn't try with a vehicle w/o autoload and multiple trailers w/ autoload.

you can change the limit in the trailer. For me myself and I the limit of how many pallets I want to move at once is somewhere around 60..70; after that the game just more and less dies. I assume because it calculates physics for every single moving pallet constantly.

I probably had something closer to 500 bales stacked neatly in a shed, saved, loaded back the next day.. had about 200 bales in the shed, not exactly stacked anymore.. and the rest were in some 500m radius from the shed..

cp/ad handles bales quite nicely these days. just need to have an "autoloading shed" for them, such as the in game storage things.

and you pretty much need to use the anderson stackers, or some custom trailer thing that doesn't have a loading arm.

the arcusin stacker seems to have narrower intake trigger, or it's "inside" the guards or something, so CP really needs to hit that baler from right direction and to the middle, and that it doesn't do too well. with the anderson it's enough to just touch the fork and up it goes.

Hi everyone. Almost total newb here.

Here are the highlights of my first few hours with FS23:

I spent an awful long time trying to get the arm on the harvester extended. Then another long time to figure out that I had to drive my tractor with the trailer under it.

I noticed on the map legend that one of my fields need lime. I brought my trailer to the shop, bought some bags and half-filled it. That should be enough! Got it back to the farm and tried offloading it in the field but it didn’t seem right. Then I read that you spread lime with a fertiliser spreader. I went and bought a fertiliser spreader. Drove my trailer up beside it and tried to fill the spreader. Attached spreader to a tractor and tried to fill it. Read that only some spreaders do lime. Mine doesn’t. Sold the spreader. Now what do I do with all this lime? I dumped it in the yard. Drove my tractor over it and got it stuck on top of the lime pile. Learned how to reset vehicle.

This game is great. A deep deep rabbit hole.

Andi modding with the hand spreader mod on the mod hub is truly awesome to see. I do lawn care and fertilization and I use push broadcast spreaders and backpack sprayers everyday. It would be awesome to see a mod for something called a zero spray which is basically a zero turn stand on mower chassis fitted with a broadcast spreader and two 30 gallon spray tanks and a fold out boom over the front castor wheels. We use it for large commercial and residential properties but it could definitely be used to run a farm. My hopes are someday someone will make this mod along with some way to possible fertilize and spray weeds on grass.

Sounds like my mod. Unless you're on easy I designed that to not be profitable. Look at the monthly running cost to run that for the 120k liters of stone you get and calculate the cost yourself for your price of stone per 1k liters.

No it just turns 0 stone into 500. Bottom line is your essentially auto buying stone with it as a quarry simulation. But it's not a cheap to run production. He's wanting to have other players come up to his loading pipe at the factory. All he has to do is grant contractor then to the players farm he wants to share it with.
