there are certain productions that are/were loss-generating after you factor in the production costs. Even more so if you count in the cost of hauling stuff around and what not.

It's a game. But IRL it's about 546 Dollers per Metric ton in the US.
As for the game it's a crash crop that can't be use for anything else. It have a high sell price but lower yield so it's a balance.
Atleast can't be used by anything else unless you use mods.

yes, but you only get one "cut" per year off of that, and you have to plow and seed and... You're still further ahead with grass.
off the top of my head, amount of raw chaff in bunker you get about 1.65 or 1.85 or something like that on corn, but since you can mow three times...

you can absolutley do that
if you choose medium or hard difficulty on start you dont own any land and usually no machines except if maker is not too consistent
you may get some veichiles
but you could just buy and sell some expensive gear to get yourself down to your wanted money level and then start as you wish
if you are on pc you can use mods to modify your money from ingame or the savegame files
idk if consoles have such options i am not sure

as long as you keep working on an engine it isn't outdated. The idea of outdatedness of engines is a bit of a weird one because then we'd need to look at all the Quake 3 engines and go "well stop using that, its outdated"

never said making engine is an easy job 😄 it literally take years..what i said there is correct the person that they dont remake the engine but rather update it fix some stuff add new things...remaking would mean more or less new engine from ground up

yeah its never this easy 😄 its probably close to a week aka 40h of modelling texturing etc and then half of that or same amount to put it in game
and testing
so its not "2-3h" work but more like half a month of man hours to put it in the game

my accelerator tho, when i first get ingame its fine, it goes from 0% to 100% fine, but then coming off the throttle ill get to 1%, take my foot off completely, and it magically jumps to 100%

Mine eventually stopped responding and would go 100% throttle when I'd physically disconnect it from the wheel
I decided to just get a gamepad at that point. Now I'm on a gamepad + side panel. Definitely do miss using a wheel so that Hori should be nice

Could just be a UI bug as well, restart discord. If it's not up to date it will update automatically.
I've seen stuff hang when the rules prompt hangs as well, only way to solve it is to leave the server and then rejoin.

Oh fair, i've had a weird thing myself before where there was a server with a rules acceptance prompt. I clicked accept but it felt like it didn't register that. It allowed me onto the server but i couldn't do anything, and i saw a bunch of those as well

there is auger wagons with bulk fill type if you thinking filling auger wagon and then filling trucks or other trailers for that matter...havent seen forage wagons with augers..but you could dump it to floor and use belts to fill trailers

yeah because how does the game make it that when u do make a contract it keeps track on the contract? because then the grain is linked to the npc farm and not the owner, so it should some how be possible to make it so that if grain on field 2 is owned by farmer A when farmer B drops it off its still be Farmer A his grain right?

Probably a bug in the contract instead where it just checks at selling if there is a contract activated and assumes the product is for that.
