Though aren't they a boy?
As I thought 😂

How many cows u have
It's still a little kitten! It's 1 year old
Oh wow, I was expecting you to say their older
No, we adopted her this week! She's pregnant.🥰
Actually, I estimate that she is 1 year old! But she may have more! Unfortunately, the former owners didn't leave her at home! But it may be that she is more than 2 years old, the former owner is not and tell me, since she was from a farm
And these are Zeus and Seraphini 🥰
They loved traveling by car
That there is a worm 😂
Oh bless em, so the previous owner just left them to it and let her wonder herself
Yes
120/130 organic
Stetson is Ready to go to work in the field!
a vet will be able to give an educated estimate based on teeth and other factors as long as she is over a year will be a safe pregnancy, just keep her away from males after for a while 😅 ❤️ goodluck
We'll take her to the vet this week, since it was the Carnival holiday ;)!
i have no idea what that is but enjoy 🙂
You never seen a carnival?
no im from the uk we have pride events which i imagine would be our closest to carnivals but ive never heard of carnival holiday, im assume its some sort of bank holiday?😅
No, haha, it's a week celebrating the Brazilian Carnival event.
Ah, same here, I don't go to em anymore

My turkey does the same thing i got a picture of her on the hood of my dads truck yelling at him
Nutria (Myocastor coypus)
we have a lot of issues in slovenia because to us it is invasive species
That is a very beautiful lamb
Are those otters?
no it says its nutria...they are closer to beavers than otters
its different species
I wrote the name on it, even in Latin, so that everyone would get the right one.
Not sure why i didn’t get the connection
Thank you on behalf of the lamb as well!😄
Spring calving season is here.
What were you born in a barn or something? 🤣
Nooooooooooo, a field 😎
Listen kid... Tools are expensive trust me I'm a mechanic you gotta stop borrowing and buy your own lamb wrenches.... Harbor Freight has some good deals for the starting lambchop don't worry you'll be fine! 🤣

Hi, I'd like to know the maximum number of animals you recommend.
a place to share your farm animals, your pets and screenshots of your animal husbandry.
Spot light working good? maby i should do that so i can find these stupid chickens better
For looking for calf’s it does great
would help me find my chickens hiding in the trees and the turkey on the wood pile
It should
Was that a panic reaction after realising it hit the fencing?
gud job!

hello
atleast your birds love the snow my keep complaining about it and the turkey have the need to molt durning winter
dinosaur
Modern day dinosaur, yes
Have you ever tried to tame a chicken?
Nah don't think so, unless I used to try where this place had chickens where I went on holiday when I was younger
An adult hen can be tamed. I tamed 15 pieces
They respond to calls and you can pick them up and pet them
Cow and her new calf
1st time i seen horn guards/sheat
guess bit more humane than cutting them off
cute
i will make a pic of the horses i drive by everytime i go to work next time
these are the traditions of the south of France, we are obliged to protect them, otherwise we do not have the right to take them out into the streets
in the fields their horns are like that
Ohh that thing interesting good to know

No
Its lambing and we have two fields full I just happened to no get any others in the picture
👍
Those are the pens
This little one wouldn’t stop nomming on my head :/
Dog and lamb combo
Is that a farm animal in the cage?
that is a baby cow or a sheep
The lamb is only two days old and it was abandoned by its mother so it’s malnourished and is unwell. So yeah we’ve had to bring it in for the night to keep it fed etc…
Aww
Cow
Yeah and we’ve got to have it in the cage as we have five dogs on the loose around the house @wet nova 🤣
Ah, would their prey drives kick in otherwise?
Nah but our smallest dog is a prick. He was already trying to defend it whilst it was even in the cage and almost started a fight with one of the other dogs. All of them are normal other than the dachshund rat 🤣
Never really saw these till i saw a larger dairy farm but why keep them in their own specific dog house? Why not just have a portion of the barn, specifically for new calves where they're all together
I could see for possible diseases, if one gets sick you don't want the rest of them to also get it but i don't see any other reason to do that
We get them all separated by age,in the first 4 weeks they are in the iglu and then they go in a box with calf their age,we do it just to be sure they drink the right amount of milk each time, and with the diseases we got a ton of desinfectation going to be sure almost nothing gets into a calf
And is also easier to manage them there,in case one needs some medicine we have 3 doctors on the farm 24/7
Ah, round here we don't completely separate them out like that. My cousin will separate them out by ages in 2 separate barns, hold 10-15 calves. Then once they become old enough to be with the rest of the milking cows, they will get moved to whatever barn has the space for them
We got groups for each 3 month of a calf,in the first 3 months it goes from the iglus to the group boxes where it still gets milk for the first 2 ½ months and then gets dry,and then it goes to another barn with calfs of ages 3-6 months,at 6 months it is moved again until 9 months old and at 1 year-1 year and 2 months old it gets the insemination done and moved with the other heifers until 7 months pregnant, then we beggin with the parlour training untill 8 months pregnant, then it goes in the straw boxes to eait for calving
It's a lot but our diseases precentage is like 10-15% per year, which is like 10 heifers per year
And the bulls just get sold at around 2-3 months old
That's a channel for pictures
Most of them,we keep 2-3 for breeding

I had to explain it,sorry
how many head do you have on farm?
Not bad for what like 600-1k heads of milkers i assume?
950 milking,2500 total
We have a dairy and heifer operation in northern Minnesota and we have 650 milking with 1500 total
nice,we got it in germany

Every place around here, the first week people fished stocked waters hard. So getting anything later in the season unless they restock is rough

like the text says they ate the roots and plants died...well not all but decent amount...that was few years ago
so in our house they are classified as "kill on sight"
Some larvae ate out potato plants too and pumpkin in the home garden. Never have we had such issues before until last year
Was a pain
What was worse was, you never knew anything was wrong till you saw gel drops all over the stems and holes in the stem

Good asmr
Not a single thought in her smol head, but that’s ok
beansss
and atleast she aint orange ....orange ones have a lot of thoughts and 99% of them will drive you crazy
Not a expert...but im pretty sure she need some belly rubs.
She don’t like those 😔. Got my hands torn up trying
Stubborn
Grump lol
Bet tho if you manage to get to rubbing, she'd be fine with it after awhile
Just a putting up a fight to allow ya
She “ok” with belly rubs but it’s very situation and specific on environmental factors around the house if that makes a bit of sense
Sure she doesn't have a cyst
Cause a dog will get all wild if you try to rub an area that's got a cyst.
I’ve had that cat for almost 8 years. She’s doesn’t have a cyst. Last vet visit was almost a week ago
Ah that's just weird tho
Never really heard of an animal cat or not be picky bout getting attention/belly rubs like that
Usually they like all over ya yk
Cat can be needy and all that but she mainly just doesn’t like getting belly rubs because of a recent surgery and some other things that I honestly forget
Ahh
Eepy cat
A lizard, I wouldn’t mind having a lizard. Only problem would be the 5 indoor cats trying to eat em
Luckily just me and the lizard 🦎 I’d worry about that too tbh
Soaking up the shade ig
