#Suggestion for the NEW LOGI System

I get the idea Staff have behind the new Logistic system but, From what I have seen and played it has only hurt the server rather than helped much. (mine and many others opinions.) All I feel Is it limits and takes away rather than add anything or help included anybody.
Now I'm not saying it preventing us from having the entire US defense budget at the end is a bad thing. But I feel like the system needs some changes as the current one is just heavily constricting and pretty much killed the logistic side of liberation

So enough complaining and some suggestions

  • Make the Capital Points a Logistical Depo. What I mean by this is once we take a capital it would then act as a factory point similar to the old system. My logic behind this is, once we take a capital we essently have control of that capital surrounding province so it makes since for the supplies to flow through it. This would also mean we would only have a hand full and still be limited on supply, but have a steady inflow.
    --Add Factory Points to Capitals or in 200m range This is running of the previous suggestion, Incase the other idea would mess with the codding of Capitals to much, The Factory Points near or In the Capitals would spawn no Infantry or only 1-3 squads and maybe an IFV to prevent crashing the servers. ( Could be name "Da Kong Supply Depo")
  • Add Supply Side Missions This Could be in the form of the Old FOB Attack Missions, Supply Convoy Raids (switched up Battlegroup), Supply Depo raids (Switched up FOB attack Mission) The examples I gave could use the Intel System which we have essentially Abaddon for a while now. Admin Stated side missions are broke
  • Ability to Mark creates to persist through restarts This Could be a scroll wheel option able to be preformed by HQ (X-6 and X-7), Goblin SL, And all OGRE Members. Most of the time when we find creates we are unable to get them out due to the time left before restart or cant extract them to safety due to contact until to late before restart.
  • Alert For Creates spawned in BLUEFOR points If creates can spawn randomly in friendly points maybe a alert as on large maps it would take a full restart to check most points once about 1/3 the way done.
  • Lower the cost of the FOB container As 1500 is a bit step when we only get 3k-4k to work with, and rarely see more than 200 supply per restart. ~Suggested by @slow parrot

I'm not one to complain and not offer a solution, I believe the changed system could work, but in it current state it is only Harmful and does not help gameplay at all. I think the above points could help greatly maybe just 1 or two or all of them wink

I agree.

Less resources lead to even less vehicles that are needed to be taken care off. So OGRE was limited to the odd logistics run.
Pilots now have nothing to do in between reinserts, so when there is a PB present, they don't need to be there for another hour.
Because of the common occurrence of MANPADS, the air denial was way more effective, which further strained logistics.

Not only that but with the whole AI can now randomly spawn at a point isn't making anything better in getting ogre or stalker to go to every cap

But back to the topic, a way to aquire resources without admin drop offs. Getting a drop off from capturing a capital would be another idea to compliment the current staffs idea of logi

Basic similar to the resources we get from odin from set times, odin drops resources in capitals after capture for orge to retrieve.

As Derp stated the old System gave pilots somthing to do while during down time as well as orgre but the current sytem just relies on ODIN, as when one or two creates spawn its ussaly at the end of the restart or close to it. before we even get a chance to get them

Another point I'd like to bring up as well, it costs 1000k for a new fob container. During 3 restarts I've only seen 200 supplies and 100 fuel. Especially on big maps, I don't see this system isn't feasible especially when we have to make a new fob every couple of days on such a big map

really hitting the nail on the head if you look at the current map, operations base is around 10k+ away from the front now, so savage usually cannot hear calls for fire. And we only have around 450 supplies, when I got off an hour ago. I'm willing to bet we will have less that 200 tomorrow. Not getting supplies in any way except through ODIN is taxing considering how I've seen assets be essentially wasted by butchers, wraiths, ogres, etc, who are just being neglegent rather than being unlucky.

Suggestion: Instead of only giving us supplies at the beginning of the map, also give us supplies every time the ISR changes so we aren't broke for 3/4 of the map. (what I mean is don't give us all the supplies at the beginning but split it so we don't "waste" it all at the start of the map)

Big brain idea: bring back factories at a reduced number of them. If that doesn't work change the resource multiplier in mission parameters.

The resource modifier for each crate being reduced would help. Basically supply crate currently is 100 supplies, turn it down to 50 or 30.

I think it's simple bring factories back at a reduced quantity. If that doesn't get desired effect change production rates. Then decrease number of resources in each box. This would obviously need to be balanced based upon multiple factors. Map size, player experience, and average players online

If theirs a certain desired outcomes it's too controlled. In current state it's not dynamic. 1 1-6 can screw the entire next 6 real life days, and ever other player can do nothing to fix it. I'm okay coming home from work or waking up before work to do logi. But I dont like coming home or waking up to be able to do nothing to improve our situation. In addition player count dropped dramatically that maybe because PF only and playing altis. But we did have 90 players on during the start of this operation.
