#How to start Squad?

I've watched videos, tutorials of Squad, but I don't even know how to do anything when I joined my first game. I just stayed behind cover and I accidentally tk someone, I apologised and explained my situation, but I was kept getting scoffed at. I still want to play the game, but I really need someone to teach me like a toddler.

Honestly, Entry is A bit harder now due to V6 changes, but pretty much

-Dont shoot unless your sure until you can PID targets , aka tell who is friendly and who is a dirty enemy.

-Follow your squadlead and squad Mates, Monkey see, Monkey do sort of thing

-Stick to Rifleman till you get the basics

-Inform Your squad you still new and may need some explaning, Stick to new friendly server ( they tend to be in the server name )

-Ignore the assholes they will be there even on noob friendly servers since they cant read.

but i think most of the server i play on isnt at v6?

I am not so sure but the recoil doesn't seem to be that intense

go to the training range and just start looking at loadouts and kits. this is just to help to get a visual of factions so you can PID and hopefully not TK. Another thing you can do is look at armor and air assets. Again just to familiarize and know what its what.

After you feel comfy, look for noob friendly servers, youll have a higher chance of finding accommodating SLs that are willing to teach. Pick a simple role like riflemen or mg. Those are both useful, but will not hurt you team too much if you feel like you are holding them back

From there its just playing the game and learning from mistakes

Also buddy up and learn to switch between semi for long range shooting and full auto for cqb and youll be fine

could anyone reccomend a good squad server to learn on?

KTF is a solid. Very noob friendly and I think they keep it pretty vanilla

#

IDK if the karma server is up, but that one is usually modded and packed half the time
