It's not buggy, but since it requires an extra mod, it's unlikely it will be added (as Speedy said), because it doesn't really bring anything new to the table, beyond looking nice.

( I wouldn't really recommend Logi collection with them .. they are not buggy.. but have very specific parameters to maintain as far as engine management )
We have been working AO's pretty far from fob at times and air drops for troops may get the troops a bit closer than LZ's or Even PB's.
But as everything we have -- its all who is in control of the bird and who is leading the company at the time to how it is implemented.
But overall -- i think the biggest thing it would employ is more paradrops.
but then the argument just becomes " buy a c-130 "

But i think we will always have an airfield fob in this map for the use of the Reapers.
but .. the osprey does have its advantages over the herc being VTOL for landing at fobs and not having to organize spawning at airfield fobs ect. and its fun to fly.
I'm all - for the Osprey dont get me wrong... i just dont know how the admin/CS group feels about the airframe itself.. but it would 100% be a nice option to have in the build menu.

Agreed, the only reason for not adding that I think is reasonable is that it's another mod and will add to required modlist size.

We have had much larger modpacks than we currently have in the past. I think its kinda futile to have and addition of a mod or 2 as a deterrent.. ( considering how often the sound packs change from one mod to another and the constant dco updates )
But im not going to open that can of worms other than that.

Osprey was the first thing i've been advocating for. Like Nilsson, when i saw that we were marines i was hyped. This map is incredibly large and having the osprey could make the experience so much more enjoyable for all whether its reinserts or logi.
The only issue i can see is the fact that most players wont know how to use it.

We did give the Osprey alot of thought. The thing is, we have had it in the past and it was rarely used. So we did decide to not include it, but next time we do marines ill add it and we'll see how it goes.

bit late to this thread but with way we have been playing this map and the overall layot of the map feel like the v-22 is much better suited to this map than the last one ik it probably wont be added but i think we can all agree the the way we play the server has cahnged over the past year and with more new roles i think that in the future the v-22 would be beneficial to infantry and logi in the future
