#wrong signature errors for random mods
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i kept posting there but didnt find any fix
it's just something that happens as I say it's just arma, as long as it not causing any issues e.g kicking from a game you should be fine
its fine
1. Close the game and launcher.
(A3Launcher MUST remain closed until you're done with step 1-8)
2. Unsubscribe all the mods you suspect has incorrect keys through your Steam client, NOT on your A3Launcher.
(it's possible that if your target mod is part of CUP or RHS is missing correct keys, the other mods of the same collection you have installed may have the same issue)
3. Open the '!Workshop'-folder in your Arma 3 directory:
…\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop
(if the folder is hidden, click the 'View' tab of your explorer then check the box 'Hidden items')
4. In your '!Workshop'-folder, open the shortcut for the mod-folder you believe is missing the correct keys.
5. Delete all content inside the mod folder.
6. Go back to your '!Workshop'-folder and delete the shortcut of the same mod-folder.
7. Repeat step 4, 5 and 6 for other mods you suspect is missing the correct keys.
8. Open up your Steam client and subscribe to your deleted mods again and finish all downloads.
9. Open A3Launcher and attempt to join the same server you were having problems with earlier.
10. If you get the same error that involves missing/incorrect keys, write down/memorize the filepath given in the error message and start from step 1 again and target the mod folder that is mentioned in said filepath.
Some common trouble shooting shit for this problem.
will try if i get the error again
too lazy to close and rejoin
i'll let you know what happens after
Fun fact, Arma 3 does not update mod the Steam list of subscribed mods until the launcher is closed. There for it is possible to update mods in the launcher for the files stored in the steam workshop but not in !workshop
When you do ANY mod related stuff, always close your launcher and reopen it.
weird
Right, can you check where your arma 3 is installed?
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3!Workshop
if I delete all the mod folders will the preset stuff get deleted?
Okay that's a good start. So that !workstop folder exists correct?
yea
Question, how did you get this error?
Yeah you do.
okay i actually just re installed the whole preset that was in info after deleting them and ace was updaing and some other things
i'll wait and see
Sounds good bud.
I have this fourm up on my monitor, so just pop back in here when ready.
sounds good
gonna take a while until its done downloading.
there are some mods above10gb+ and steam doesnt like to go over 3mb/s download
that's good
#kc_noobies rather than here
