As of recent I've noticed a change in our tactics when it comes to FOB Defense. A couple maps ago, one of the first priorities was buying an Iron Dome system after it came out around I believe Virolahti. It was somewhat cheap and protected the base and friendly assets up to 4 km. This was then nerfed I believe to 2 km, but the price remained unchanged. Recently the price was also nerfed, and the complete system is quite expensive for offering not that much. It's more worth it to buy a Stinger emplacement than buy the Iron Dome launcher. Therefore, we don't utilize it, even when we're swimming in supply.

Have to agree here with the resources of it bumped to a 2k+ with combined supplies and ammo resources, and reduce range, it stands no value in being bought as an asset for defense, if anything the C-Ram would have been a nice alternative honestly. But we need automated stinger deployments as you dont have always some to be sitting on the fob with a stinger and the iron dome does a perfect job for stalkers to pull back( with the new sop of not leaving your vics against mi-24s/28s, so they can get shot down) its best if we reduce the resources to purchase it but not the range.? Or vice versa increase the range at least from 2k because thats really stupidly low performing for an iron dome

I agree with both statements. It's an extremely underutilized tool due to the recent nerfs. There's been many times overnight where OPFOR air enters the AO and strikes our vehicles in the FOB, only having a few people online at the time, and usually always deployed. A buff to maybe 3km with the current price could be a good compromise.

We’ve had plenty of supply to build an iron dome I don’t understand why atleast one hasn’t been bought yet. The map is almost over.
