Currently, with the whole New pve/pvp system, opfor is getting balanced a lot and along with blufor. Sops changes and loadout changes. We have an issue of highly priced assets that can be shot down easily, with the anti AA, ( not going to mention anything about it) able to lock on extreme ranges away and airframes such as stalker are at high risk along with already ZU trucks to emplacements and AI with iglas spawning, giving Smarter AI(opfor) iglas seems cool but at the same time pricing of assets should be revised and looked upon, as the lost of an asset rate is increasing with increased dynamics. This not only goes for Airframes but land vics as well, we are implementing sops that stops Players from dismounting butcher vics and have them stay in it, so AI can target said vics along with them not being attached to 1-4 due to the SBF mechanics. Cool but assets are likely to be lost faster because mienfields/ieds grass cant see em, or having to push the frontline with infantry into objectives having a higher risk of losing vic. Not asking for price to be cut in half, just to be revised, because paying 2200S,1800A,1200F for an abrams is ridiculous when an AI field cannon can be hidden in the trees and just track you out of a corner, like I said we are increasing risk factors which is all good. Just need to reduce said prices of strykers and abrams and transport vics to birds especially. The fact that AI can mauever in to positions to spot out either land or air asset easily and shoot Anti-Air that can lock multiple click away without any deflection unless at high speeds and flares. Especially for demon assets it makes no sense to have an apache at almost the same cost as of a-10

- Transport vics, players would leave them behind hills or cover. Now it is at risk if not kept up with platoon. From being blown by patrols to smart AI, minefields also exist stopping vics and causing them to catastrophic and unable to recover.( grass implementation) we barely cease to have transportation for every squad, which is needed for mobility.
- Butcher, having not only the same changes, but having to provide cover and support and fast response time in hot AOs where a squad may need assistance, butcher vics can easily just blow from an RPG carried by every Infantry squad at least from opfor(normal Ai) It is risky and a single infantry can only do so much before they are unable to cover every angle for a support crew.
- Stalkers/demons/shadow/ reaper are susceptible to intercepts, and have to fly lower due to increased air threats from backline defenses of ZUs/shilkas/iglas/ to sams.
Well either lower prices or boost gains
boost skill when operating
We are looking at costs
it's kinda weird, that we can almost afford an abrams and then you get like 2 T72 against you on one point, etc.
yeah but the 2 t72s are driven by brain dead monkeys
brain dead monkeys, that wipe out a whole squad hiding behind concealment, mf's packing some heat
I would argue that 70% of enemy tanks don’t even see blufor. They’re too busy falling in a hole they can’t seem to get out of or literally phasing into one another and arma’ing themselves
Then, another 15% don’t use their main gun to engage, ever.
It takes one of those 5 brain dead monkeys to shoot one round into the abrams and it dies. As seen earlier. Hours of logi down the drain
Its true, but I can assure you not only can t-72 disable us but Even BMD-2ks have the ability to knockout our guns head on and we can then get flanked by being ineffective. There are multiple armor asset lethal to abrams, and being a public server, infantry can be late to calling out and communication be scuffed which can be a factor already increased high risk factor of following sops
We have also decreased total ai by another 10%
In also that regards, im not asking a significant reduction but to revised and not all assets do need it.
but yeah assets like strykers, abrams, repair hemmts, feel like their pricing is way too unbalanced
with how often their use, and from CAS apache mostly
Consider asking someone, for time usage for each asset, and how they are effective in their own field.
we are reviewing asset costs and possibly will be making adjustments soon...TBD
coolio. At the end of the day its a suggestion and not a killer priority
Another thought to help with the struggle of asset pricing could be a new role. One such as a Combat Engineer as most of the arguments listed above are mainly about how we cant do anything in the field when all of hard work gets shit on by AI. This role could have the same equipment as an OGRE which in a way does eliminate such of ogres priorities, however trying to rescue a vic that is fighting mainly in the front lines puts more risk to ogre assets which in turn is another reason to lower the asset prices or add na new role.
Thank you admins/CS for checking prices. Closing this post for now.
