First off, thanks for reading first and then trying to make me look dumb ๐Ÿ™‚

(Everything was tested within Server Addon Config

AVS SAD - I did some testing and the AVS doesn't provide any type of good protection. I tested it against vanilla and vests like MMAC, JPC and Marciras.

MMAC & JPC takes 3-4 556 and 545 to knock a player down.

Marciras takes 8 rounds of 556 and 545 (good only for pilots I assume)

AVS needs only 1 shot from 556 and 545 to get knocked out. Not to mention, it looks cool, but we are not the type of quick hit unit. We are not going into battle with only 6 mags. (You are hurting my immersion ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค)

USP Uniforms - too big of a mod for only uniforms that pretty much only change if the neck thing is up or down. Even though there are more variants (not available due to arsenal config) we don't need that amount of uniforms, nor the difficulty of trying to remember the same almost 8 digit code to use the same uniform in another class.

Solution - I say we replaced them with Spec4Gear (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=698078148&searchtext=Spec4Gear+) + Aspis Gear retexture RHS (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=900775311&searchtext=Aspis). They both add solid hard camos, a good amount of different uniforms, great looking vests, cool looking helmets and they all fit our style of 3h outside the base type of ops. (Trust me, we use way more than 6 mags)

Please note: the use of emojis and words are for my opinion. Not to hurt anyone's opinions.

Any added protection we gain will have to be balanced by giving opfor the same benefit though. Otherwise game balance goes down the toilet

Not necessarily, MMAC, JPC and Marciras were available back in the last campaign. We would just replace the AVS for something like the vests we already have. And OPFOR doesn't depend on our equipment to be balanced. They have the superiority of bunkers, numbers and area. If needed to balance to the teeth, give OPFOR the SU-57๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

Again, my opinion, I'd love to discuss this in detail and have my mind changed at some point.

honestly with arma 3 bodyarmor you kinda have to take what you get. because of how unnecessarily complex their system is, in addition to modders just kinda doing what they want, you get situations where it takes 60 rounds of 7.62x51 M61AP to the chest to kill someone wearing any of the RHS vests when you have ACE enabled. It's really a shame and I hope they simplify the system for arma 4

just a heads-up, I tried out the spec4gear, and I noticed a pretty big problem with it. All of the rigs have the same inventory space regardless of type (ie medic, teamlead, light) or whether or not they have a battlebelt, and that inventory space is extremely limited, I think it's about the same as the light variants of the jpc mmac and ciras from MGP

Why arent we using the USP All in one with USP gear fix?

The AIO basically covers everything in one mod and gear fix patches any problems like helmet ballistic protection
