Hey Guys and Gals... I was talking with a couple of server admins today and I thought a decent idea around seeding would be to have a smaller map / circle with only PBs. This would eliminate emplacements / mortars, etc... This would also allow for "faster" gameplay to avoid the issues of people leaving after not wanting to wait to go live.

as someone who seeds with this server a lot i feel like that would be bring a lot more fun to the seeding of this server. i have one question tho would we be able to attack the pbs?
with attacking: when habs/pb's get proxied or taken in seeding people usually leave if they cant spawn. the cooldown/timer on the pb's would have to be changed too.
just a question why can we just decide on a a town or something and just fight it out instead of going center circle where it is sometimes just not a very good place to fight? admins can decide on a point and put it out in chat. then teams can go based on that and we dont fight unless in the grid square
yeah we can try and be more active on picking specific spots to fight. Sometimes it doesn't work well because its not a static point so every player that joins will either need to be told or happen to see our broadcast which are only going out every 5-10 minutes
idk the logistics of a seed specific layer, or whether we can maybe work on some seed rule changes to make it more engaging but I agree with trying something different
maybe they could introduce a switched condition where if FOB exists, PB cool-down timer is true; else cool-down timer is false. This could even be carried over into the regular DD game-mode to help as well.
