#Additional Progression ?

Glad the new guy is being heard smh…water boy for life. Can I start a new player and keep my discord chat?
I would say you are being heard, but there are multiple threads centered around this topic.
I will say that many of us feel your frustration. I am only in my 3rd season and progression has always been imperfect. I can only assume that with the amount of discussion on this topic that changes will happen, but much of the discussion goes on behind the scenes.
Cam has stated that changes, if they occur, will happen in the off-season. The talk and exchanging of ideas is still necessary imo as it's good data points. As is holding firm for a season to see fuller outcomes with the new system
So is every player expecting to be come superstars with 99 ratings?? That dont happen irl
😄
Seriously though, perhaps the league can consider letting each team having a one-time 'progression camp' each off-season for selected players on said team.. maybe like a training camp type of thing, where selected players get a certain amount of points based on salary or tier (low tier players will of course get more points to use...
Talking 69 here. Lol seriously I’d be happy with 80
Thats actually a good looking sheet.. alot to work with.. IMO #intangibles.. gotta be strategic.. also, correct me if im wrong, some of those prices for attributes can change throughout season
The issue is when you're the lowest at your position not counting one person that's a UDFA and you only had 4 weeks of progression in the minors, and minors guys can just +3 in whatever every week
Also even though I said it in the other post, congrats on hitting 69
And when there's literally 3 free safeties in the league that are below 80
That compared to a position that traditionally has a lot of depth like WR where 39% of WRs are below 80, it's a different world
Lol. Ty
I’m here for the ride and not upset
Just enjoying and understanding and taking in what people say
Learning!!!
And like I said before the league has grown for a reason and I see why. The product is great!!
You also get paid instead of having to pay irl
Yea.. you pay irl as well... staying in shape to keep playing cost money and resources... lol
I'm sure the pros do team workouts to stay in shape and I mean they make MILLIONS of dollars lol so I'm sure couple of thousand won't hurt but when you have to pay to play do you want to be average or do you want to see your player on the field
Yea.. for sure.. if there like almost 300+ players in SFL.. not evreyone gon play right away.(all players still will get their chance). progression should be tweaked
Should be a system like gold, silver, and bronze level players.. players should progress like this:
Bronze: +7
Silver: +5
Gold: +3
This would help the lower rated players develop and you would get access to lesser points as you progress to higher tiers
Also, with this game, its much easier to put players in depending on plays or packages..etc.. substitutions..etc
I agree
That's true
Coaches would need to make it happen.. so all can play and chance to make an impact
Still looking forward to the game tonight!! Great product either way
Or just make pro contracts have a $ value that gets split into weekly payments. Off season you can have a flat pay but in season could have a contract value. May help get progressions faster if you on a good contract
Would also make real contract negotiations and contract salary caps
I am sure they will get to a solution and the league will continue to be great. Every league has its growth period and I think sfl will come out thriving better than ever.
