I’m having same issues with the chatdial mix. It’s not working properly. I would say Check your windows sound settings and mess around with different stuff. I honestly don’t know. turn off moments. that is what clips everything so if you don't want it turn it off. also, sonar is not the issue when it comes to discord audio, you need to make sure you have the correct audio input and output selected for it

If I install Steel Series GG/Engine, it will work until I reboot my PC.

You'll need to make sure your headset firmware is updated, and if the problem persists, Uninstall GG (use rev uninstaller if you're familiar with that) > restart PC > Install GG > Restart PC > Then load up Sonar and try again.

Also make sure both your audio devices are set to 48,000hz

found a fix, gotta take off the left earpad and there's a small hole where you stick a paperclip in and it reset the headset and will instantly pair with the device

I had made a support ticket about warranties and getting things replaced. Had a conversation with a support team which the last response I had heard from them was Tuesday.

The conversation and emails said I had to get through my warranty process by Today for one reason or another, and had discussed about putting a "hold" on my debit card / paypal account so that I may get my replacement shipped prior to the destruction of the original.

Hey guys. Got the Aerox 5 wireless today, and setting function buttons on the side of the mouse works but MACRO's seem to not. Yes I'm clicking Save, Apply, and Live Preview is also even on so
I tried setting a macro for the win + shift + s screenshot function and it wont activate on multiple different buttons, nor would a basic macro for pressing spacebar within discord

Have anyone expperienced the issue with double key strokes?
As i''m trying to write this message, you can see for example what happens quite often.
It seems i'm hitting doubbble keystroookes <-- or multiple in this one case..

It's getting a little annoying in ggames such as dota where you choose a specific action to cast a spell, if you double press it'll cast it straight away.
This feature is something i have to deactivate if possiblle, if not.. you can imagine what happens 🙂

If you're going to use Sonar you should set your Engine EQ to flat so that it isn't trying to apply two audio effects over one another

There's currently no way to auto-switch Sonar profiles with games so you'll need to remake your EQs from Engine in Sonar and manually switch to them for the game you want to play. Although I think auto-switching is something the devs are working on for a future update

You can also click that Discord button up at the top of the Sonar app and get access to the Discord channels here for Sonar specific questions and config sharing and stuff

I've got the same situation: after turning on Sonar from Steelseries GG it messed up both of my headsets. The sound is very bad with Sonar compared to the original sound of my headsets (Steelseries and another brand). Now both of them work awful / sound awful and the sound doesn't get rolled back in any way. 1. I've tried disabling Sonar from GG as a first step -> nothing changed, sound still horrible. 2. I've tried disabling the "Steelseries GG Virtual Sound" device from "Device Manager" -> still same awful sound, 3. I've tried uninstalling all of my audio drivers (including the Win audio ones) and reinstalling the latest versions -> still not working. 4. I also checked the sound on my headsets on another PC where I installed the latest drivers -> the sound is still the same horrible sound and it won't go away => it seems that the Steelseries Sonar drivers or something has somehow transferred to my headsets and broken the fine sound with this Sonar... I really cannot do anything about the Sonar complete uninstall from both of my headsets. I hear many people are complaining about it. Please help o find a solution and fix this recurring sound issue after installing Steelseries Sonar. Thank you.

Hey I have been having major problems with my rival 650 wireless mouse, it isn't clickiung right on the left mouse button, I will click and sometimes it clicks twice and sometimes it clicks both when I click and lifft my finger up, and sometimes if I al holding it down to drag a window or shoot a gun in a game, it won't continue holding the left mouse click and it like almost drag clicks som,etimes if I hold down the left click. I bought the Arctis 3 headphone just a few hours ago for my birthday, i plugged it in using the extension wires to my pc

I check Voice & Video settings and it ain't showing up

Also in sound control panel doesnt show up

The headphone works fine it's just the microphone is doing all this crap

So got the Arctis Pro Wireless as well with the DAC. When using Discord it will continually drop and if i go into settings and reselect my input it will connect back up for a while and then drop. However if i do the output it will not connect and will have to drop out and come back in.

Yo, i have a pair of arctis pro headphones with a gamedac, when i have my output set to "gamedac game" the bass oversteers a whole lot where it ripples and sounds really bad, also the DTS doesnt work there, it works much better when using the "gamedac chat" output, where the sound is great and the DTS works, but theres almost zero bass, also my gamedac often de-syncs with the steelseries app and my computer often doesnt find the output and i have to plug the gamedac in and out of the computer a couple of times before it detects it. can anyone help?

What do u mean? I always use chat as my output in chatting softwares, and use game as my main output in windows(music, video and games), so that I can use chatMix to balance chat and game.

BTW, the headset use game as the main output, if u have a 3.5mm cable and another speaker, u can connect the speaker by using the Line out port at the back side of ur wireless DAC. so that when ur headset is turned off, the game audio will comes out from your speaker and chat audio won't.

Hello first time user for Arctis 9 series after some google searching I couldn't find any answers. I was curious if it is possible to have the wireless headset connected to my PC and PS5 without having to manually disconnect the transmitter from one to the other? I have it connected to the PS5 and Bluetooth to the PC and that seems to do the job however there is a periodic low beep that seems to not go away. Any help or resource to have a solution to this will be very appreciated.

I have an Arctis Pro Wireless and its worked great for about the past year but this morning when I logged into my PC I no longer get sound from the "Headphones (Arctis Pro Wireless)" source... I do get sound if I select "Headset Earphones (Arctis Pro Wireless Chat)" but the sound quality is much worse than the Headphones mode... Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix?

hello, can anybody tell me how can I prevent steelseries gg from constantly re-installing sonar drivers to my device? It fucks my currently used spatial audio settings up and I cannot activate my dolby access even though if sonar is disabled. only way is to uninstall sonar drivers and it reinstalls them back whenever I restart my pc.

the sequence that worked for me was trying literally every option of troubleshooting there is, and then finally

1. removing FULL power from the base-station
2. reconnect power
3. reset the base station
4. turn on the headset

Sorry only realized that you don't have the gamedac that's my fault. Should be able to increase mic volume in game/ on console settings or thru pc settings. If it's PC you have just download Steelseries GG and you can sort it in there. Hope this helps.
