Hello guys! I have a problem with my Arctis 7+ headset. Using chatmix, I can completely mute the Game output but going the other way I can't mute the Chat output. It doesn't change the volume at all for the Chat output. I know I fixed this issue earlier by changing some default inputs and outputs, but every time I restart my PC, it does the same thing all over again. Any ideas how I could fix this ?

Hi! I am currently having issues with my 650 mouse. I have removed my drivers for it multiple times. Restarted my PC just as many if not more times.

The issue is that the pointer bugs out on screen, making it almost unrenderable, or it stays in the top left corner of the screen as a dot. The only fix that I have found since I run extended display on windows 10 is to have my screens set to duplicate. All other drivers are up to date. This was not an issue when I last used my pc on Wednesday. Any help would be appreciated.

Turns out if you have another device that's acts like a pointer enabled when you shut off your pc it causes a pointer glitch. Devices such as a laptop on a dock or even an occulus.

I found a good deal open box for Arctis 7 for $80 and it’s almost new but the only problem I’m facing now is the stupid Microphone that won’t work. It has red light so I know it’s mute but of course I unmute it but none of my apps recognize it. I tried from sound settings but still I can’t hear my self and Discord won’t detect it too . I just wanted to know if I’m screwed or does it suffer from mic problems? I’m running a Windows 10 pro

I just bought & installed the headset 2 days ago. Right out of the box everything worked fine, even after installing & setting up Sonar.

Then the battery died, wasn't fully charged when I started. I let it charge over night and now I can barely hear anything. I've tried the volume wheels on both sides of the headset, I've tried resetting the defaults in Windows/Voicemod/Voicemeter/etc but nothing seems to work. Everything is setup exactly the same as it was before.

It’s like the volume is just turned ALL the way down. I can hear a little bit but not much.

I don’t use the headset mic. My Shure MV7 is routed through voicemod and the voicemod virtual mic is my default on windows and routed to all apps.

Honestly the only use the headset mic has for me is finally allowing me to hear myself without delay 😅

Does anyone here use Steelseries GG on Linux through Wine? I had trouble opening it previously, and I'm having trouble reinstalling it through the setup file after manually deleting a bunch of files.

I'm trying to get the Apex Keysword code for Brawlhalla in case anyone's wondering. I thought I had already copied the code in the app, but it wouldn't paste when I tried claiming it in the game's store. This is when I started being unable to open GG to try and copy the code again. I tried using the unisnt.exe file to delete it so I could try reinstalling again, but it wouldn't let me delete it and I couldn't uninstall through the icon in my application menu. I ended up trying to manually delete files and redownloading the setup file to get it to work, but the setup process isn't working anymore.

Btw so I got my Aerox 5 yesterday, with an advertised battery life ranges of 180-80 hours depending on what your using. So when I got it I plugged it in and it said 85% battery life. So I let it charge until it got to 95% and the charging indicator stopped in GG, I played most of that day cause I had nothing to do, but when I checked the mouse had gotten down to 25% battery life.

Is that normal? I’d expect it to last longer than that.

Hey there, I just got the steelseries sensei ten and I am having trouble using button 6 and button 7 on the right side of the mouse. I can bind them to do different stuff in the steelseries software, however, they don't actually register anything when I try to bind them to something/use them In game.

Sounds like you're using Bluetooth which in that case, yeah you're stuck with the crappy quality because that's a limitation of Bluetooth and not the headset. If you want the full wireless quality you need to get a USB Xbox wireless adapter and connect the headset to the PC that way

I've owned Arctis 7 for a while now. But i've had this low mic volume problem all the time. I've legit checked every single fixing method but none of them have worked. Only thing that I've found that while testing it on Steelseries GG the sound is smooth and continuous, but for example on Discord my voice keeps cutting on almost every word. Any ideas? I just bought the aerox 5 wired today. Button 9 is bound to R through steelseries engine. I have it set to repeat while pressed with 15ms delay yet when I press B9 it registers a mouse one click most of the time.

I will press the button to reload or check ammo (holding R) in Insurgency sandstorm but it will just shoot my gun

Please note that this will delete any saved configures within SteelSeries Engine (SSE), so please save them to the cloud.

Prior to starting, navigate to and run: C:\Program Files\SteelSeries\GG\uninst.exe
We will need to uninstall the existing driver( if there is one) completely.

I had such hopes for sonar but I have more issues than it is worth. The mic suppressor seemed like it didn't work at all and it seems that my virtual desktop doesn't see that anything for sound exists. I Can't work if I can't make calls. I understand this is early access so this is more feedback as I am disabling it for now. I know that sound software can be picked up by my virtual desktop as I used that other guy with no problems. I will continue to try Sonar as I see changes but for now I will have to revert. Thank you for the work you are doing here

My S key in my apex 5 has a little squeak to it. Unnoticeable 100% unless you listen closely compared to the other keys. My S key also works 1/30 times sometimes more sometimes less. It’s irritating, it just doesn’t work.

I contacted steelseries they gave me a link on how to clean my keyboard, which I’ve done and it’s still happening. Very clean keyboard but just as broken. Is there anyway to get under the switch and fix this? I am really annoyed and it prevents me from playing my games properly, doing online assignments, generally talking online. Helloooo, I have a ghosting problem with my Apex 5.
Got it on April 16 and when I press Z+T+Space bar (AZERTY layout here, equivalent of W+T+Space bar on a QWERTY layout), the last key to be pressed just doesn’t do anything, it isn’t even recognized.

Hey guys i have a little problem with steelseries engine actually engine and apex 5 keyboard. I bought new apex 5 and I did some modifications on steelseries engine. While doing configure ( image sync, discord, audio visualizer etc. ) something happened on my keyboard. My all changes gone and interesting lighting movement had been started. Now I can’t change modifications or I can’t see my modifications.

My G key has become defective on my Apex 7 Red. No matter what I set the LEDs too the G key either remains yellow or will be completely out of sync and displaying random colours.

The only other official option from SteelSeries would be the leather earcups which I wouldn't recommended if you sweat a lot. Your best bet would be looking at third party fabrics and ear cushions that support the Arctis 5

So my Arctis Pro Wireless headset decided to do that weird thing where game and chat wont work at the same time. I tried uninstalling the drivers, which made Game output work but without Chat working. Then tried reinstalling the drivers and GG software, now Game doesn't work and Chat only works.

I have no idea what I did last time to fix it, but I remember it took ages. Please someone help.

Hello there. I just got the steel series sonar software. I created and logged in with my account, fine. I do not see a mixer tab to set up what I want to set up. Basically I want 4 channels for the software's I use to stream with, a channel to route to for streaming and a queue mix for me that I can adjust, all with separate volumes. So, I want to let's say turn up the game for someone else but not have it effect me, or turn something up and down for me but the stream/discord or what ever is listening through there won't be effected by any volume changes I might do. is this possible? I have a corsair blue tooth wireless USBC XTR virtuoso gaming headset, and I'm running Windows 10 21H2 (x64) build 19044.1645. I don't see a way to enable and disable things I don't need in the app either. I am using the free version. could that be the issue? Thanks and happy tuesday.

Ok, I have everythign set up, but I still dont' understand what I need to do with my other apps. I also stream via obs as well. do I need to change stuff in muy games such as prepared, VPilot, stardew valley, and obs, and discord which is my chatting app? so obs can hear everything? also I don't think ican adjust my own volumes without everyone hearing the change or adjust their volume of something without me hearing the change.

I basically have thigns going back and forth and want to sometimes do a reroute of let's say my screen reader. and for me I might need to have stuff up more than 100 percent, which is why I'm thinking this thign needs morre adjustments.
