My controller's left analog stick suddenly stopped working. A friend of mine tried to fix it. well i guess i have two issues now... so just bought a arctis 5 (first product from steel) plugged it in and tried it. Youtube and Crunchyroll both give the background audio(like feet walking and music) but voice is extremely quiet if not then non-existent?

u might want to use Sonar since it has such functions that will help u:

to enable Sonar u need to go to settings and enable beta
restart GG
on Home there will be smth about activating Sonar

Hello everyone 🙂 I have a problem with a steelseries stratus controller with IPadOs 15.2.1. I've paired the device and I can see it trough the Ipad, but it seem it doesn't work. Using the application "Game Controller Tester", the device is found, with the correct button mapping, but whatever button I push, nothing happens. The leds on the controller are blinking all at the same time. Can someone please help me?

Anyone experienced the issue where the Arctis 9 Wireless records AND instantly plays your own voice through the headphones? I can permanently hear myself loud and clear… I don’t think it’s supposed to work like this

In addition: when I enter a discord call while being connected to my phone by using the 2-way Bluetooth connection the „echo“ disappears but my voice is not send to my PS5 Partychat anymore…

You can turn off sidetone within the SteelSeries Engine, this is what's playing your voice through the headset itself. Additionally, when you enable Bluetooth & connect to a device, Bluetooth is the priority for the microphone output & will be what the microphone is used for, rather than the wireless connection.

That's the only way unfortunately, since theres no scroll wheel on the headset to adjust the sidetone

oh my, that's rly much, normal values are between 0.1-0.2 when u try to click very fast
in test ur supposed to do as quick double click as u can then rest then double click then rest then double click (as many times as u want) and the average would be your mouse + your reaction time (+system etc)

but anyway if it's 0.3-04 then there is definitely smth wrong

angle snapping will sort of "straighten" out your inputs. it's generally not useful for games, but some people like it for working, or they may be used to it from other mice, so it's there in Engine in case people like it.

and for regular settings they are just set to flat

SS wireless headsets use standard cables for charging. Most are Micro-USB, and the new headsets (the 7+ and the 7P+) use USB-C. So I'd just buy a cable from Amazon, or I bet you can find one quickly at the corner store

I noticed that the mic has background noise and i wanted to connect it with the 3.5mm cable to my controller to see if there is any difference.

Now, when i connect the cable into the headset, it turns off automatically and I can’t get it back on. Any idea someone?

Are you changing the audio settings on the PS5 to reflect changes you made?

-the mic does have "sidetone" so it'll play back the audio into your headset, I would try turning down the sidetone (i think it's the other non-volume wheel) and see how that works. I know that the sidetone will play back a lot of room noise but I usually find that this noise doesn't get transmitted and it's only audible in the sidetone.

-if the headset detects that the 3.5mm cable is plugged in, it turns off. this is by design since the 3.5mm connection can run the audio for the headset and mic by itself and it doesn't need power from the battery to do this. it also prevents two audio signals from mixing which the headset isn't designed to do IIRC

Hello. I was just wondering if it is fine to hang my arctis pro’s on a headset holder. Would it loosen the straps of the headset? This is the first time I’ve had a steelseries headset so it thought I’d ask just to be safe, or if I should just lay them down instead.

After a prolonged period of time (like years, most likely) the band may stretch some from supporting the weight of the headset. I have an Arctis 9 with an under desk hangar and I usually have them hanging by the top metal frame instead of the ski band

That makes sense, maybe I just hang them by the metal frame instead then. The band is great, and I feel like putting that hanging pressure on it would loosen it up, was just curious what others did.

The thing is steelseries “official” headset holder has the same design where it holds on by the top of the headband, so I wasn’t sure really if it would matter or not considering that’s how they do it for their examples of their official holder on their site

Hey guys, somehow I don't hear any sound on Arctis 7 Game option. I have tried everything ( like literally everything ). I have resetted my computer with all the data, I reversed my computer from windows 11 to windows 10 just for the sound to work, unfortunately, it doesn't. When I choose Arctis 7 chat everything's good, I hear but poorly, when I choose option Arctis 7 Game, I don't hear anything... Do you happen to know what is the problem?

I am so dissapointed in Steelseries, since I bought these headphones I've had so much problems with them

Hi all, I recently got an Arctis Pro Wireless. I had it working just fine but with open mic, people were hearing my keyboard clicks which lead me to install Sonar. So now windows see's multiple devices but let's say I set my audio to use the Sonar Gaming device for audio, there's no sound being played on the headset...... how exactly do these extra devices work? If I set it back just to use the Headphones (Arctis Pro) there's audio on the headset....

I wish they provided some setup guide or something for sonar.... There doesn't seem to be much information out there to set it up.

So.. I have my mouse set to turn orange when I get a discord notification, and that works, but after I clear the notification or ping, the mouse just turns off. It doesn't default back toy light settings

Hello, I probably have an bug because when I browsing the GG and the settings of their keyboard, I saw that the macro options are missing there, although the buttons (insert, delete, home ...) have the mark (M1, M2, M3 ... Check the patch notes. See which version has the loading working properly. Some users are having the loading issue with sonar. Be careful of 14.0.0 though, as that broke my headset

Not sure if this will fix this issue for you, but try unplugging the device that is connected to your pc

I checked my dial on the headset, doesn't matter if its rolled all the way to the person or the controller, still hear everything.
