Dear all, I got the mouse SENSEI TEN for Xmas. I installed steelseries on my Mac 10.15. When I select the function " launch application" ,I choose a program then I save settings but, it doesn't work. The application doesn't start. Someone knows why?

I believe there is sth wrong with Mac and an additional configuration should be done. With windows it's working. Thank you for your help.

I doubt anyone here can help, but does anyone know how to fix Certain services (GTA, Discord) causing audio to stop working? Loading GTA makes all pc audio stop working until I refresh the device in sound control panel, and joining a discord call stops all audio except from discord.

I would make sure the wireless adapter is within close range and isn't blocked by surfaces. I would make sure nothing is blocking the signal from the adapter to the headset.

I remember I used to have a headset and whenever I used a bluetooth 4 dongle to connect to my pc it would produce crackling. I upgraded to a bluetooth 5 dongle and it worked perfect after. Not sure if that could be a factor to your problem.

I solved the issue. Whenever using a go xlr paired with the headset, you need to lower the output volume in the go xlr app or else it will continue to cause this issue. Somewhere around 90% or lower for headphone volume works well for me.

I have a GoXLR. It's Mic jack is attached Ground Loop Noise Isolator. The Isolator is attached to a Artics Pro Wireless.

The only thing on my Routing Table is Chat Mic + Mic (For testing) and it still does it.

I switched out the headphones and the problem is gone. Uh... what?

I used to have similar issues that the GLI cleared up. Since then I haven't had issue in months.

Nothing changed as far as I can tell. I've now switched to a wired pair of headphones.

BTW this still happens even when my PC is off.

At least that's how I understand it.

Does anyone know why the arctis 9 (PlayStation version) is only sold on the website and Amazon? I want to buy it from Best Buy, but they don’t sell it. They sell the 9x but not the PlayStation ones

DTS is only on certain headsets, the 7P+ is not one of those headsets. Also, GG only will turn on DTS for use on PC, it doesn't apply to PS5.

Hi, I've recently bought Arctis Pro Wireless, and I've just been using it to talk on my phone (with bluetooth) while still being connected to PC, and while this feature is really cool and stuff, I could hear myself talking, even tho I have sidetone disabled (set to 0), and while I'm connected only to PC it's working fine (ie no sidetone). I tried taking some tests by letting it run in the background without doing any work and I lose about 1% of battery every 8-9 minutes with RGB on at max

Hey guys, I've been stuck for a few weeks with no solution on this.
So I have the Arctis 1 Headset, but lost the adapter, and bought a new one. When I went to try and pair it with the headset with my laptop, steelseries engine would say my headset was not connected to the laptop via USB A to Micro USB charging cable, even though I'm using the charging cable that CAME with the headset. I've used so many different cables, but my headset will just NOT CONNECT. hmm ok, not an issue I've encountered before, but it sounds like you probably have too many things plugged in, or one of your devices is pulling too much power.

In that case, it may be that one of your computer's USB controller chips is getting old/faulty. Potential options are to try a different USB port, or purchase a powered (as in, plugs into the wall) USB hub/dock.

Of course, there's the possibility of a software issue, in which case you could use device manager to uninstall the GameDAC drivers from your system entirely, reboot, and then reinstall the drivers.

Easiest thing to try right off the bat is to switch to a different USB port and reboot. If it's plugged in the back of the case, move it to the front, and vice versa, to try and see if maybe there's a second USB controller chip.

not particularly, the fact that the GameDAC uses a USB Micro-B rather than Type C suggests that it is only capable of USB 2.1 at most anyway.

the ports for the 3.x will typically use a different chip though.

Upon further research it appears micro-B is capable of up to USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds (more commonly referred to as 3.1 Gen 2).

I have a Arctis Steel Series 7 wireless. I unboxed yesterday, plugged the hub into my usb and turned on the headphones. I heard lots of "static pops" and then found how to download the GG and update the device. It is still "popping" and is losing connection to the hub frequently during discord calls, listening to music, gaming, etc. Battery is full. Hub is less than 3 feet away. Mine did this back when I got it, had to plug into a different USB port.. It also static pops just by changing things on the software, I think it's just a flaw with the headset design.. Doesn't static pop for me when I don't mess with the software.. Once I got it working on a different USB port.. Dunno if that's the issue, but maybe worth a try if you haven't tried that already 😉

-I'm on the 7+ now so me helping troubleshoot will be from memory and past experience.. Had it for 4 years, static pop was always normal with the software and moving the volume buttons also caused some cutout, as if the dials were dirty

nah it's only used for volume/mute and onboard menu navigation, there's really no other configuration options. if you have Arctis Pro Wireless or GameDAC the wheel is pretty much useless unless you also have another audio output that you use frequently.

there's a possibility that an app could be programmed for the SS API in Engine to make use of it in some other fashion but you would need to either know how to program or have a friend willing to do it for you, either way I would imagine it's a fair bit of hassle.

Hi, I just received an Arctis 7+ to replace my Arctis 7, I have a few small complaints but the major one is ChatMix, which is not native anymore but use the Sonar software to achieve the same result. It’s very annoying as I can’t use ChatMix anymore without that “bloatware” software running, I can’t use it on another computer just once and I can’t use it anymore on macOS. Is there any way to change that?
I thought I would only gain an USB-C charge port, USB-C dongle and a bit of battery life but it seems like ChatMix is now kind of unpractical…

I really wish there was a preset for MMOs on Sonar. I keep tweaking the EQ and I just can't get it to where everything sounds good. either sfx in game are tinny or like listening to them down a hall or the voices/music sounds weird, and sfx sound better. I do not understand all the different bands on Sonar. I am used to just the 10 slide bars on basic EQs. I play Final Fantasy XIV and I know my Arctis Prime headset is really for Esports. But, sadly none of the presets on Sonar work for it. Since, MMOs are usually big on BGM and atmosphere for story... It is hard to get the sounds set right so that BGM, voices in cutscenes, sound effects, ambient noise, etc. mesh well. If anyone has any advice on some possible settings, I'd appreciate it.

Thats usually the case for wired ones

Somehow by bending the end of the 3.5m jack (which is plug on yhe computer) you may hear your left speaker

I recently bought the Arctis 7p+ headphones (wireless). I haven't dropped them once, I charge them every night and I'm very delicate with them. Today they started acting up due to the buttons not working. I factory reset them by removing the left earphone and stuck a paperclip in it very gently. After that it started working but I realized I couldn't hear anything out of them. My microphone was working perfectly fine but I could not hear anything. I checked the Steel series engine and I updated them and they said they were fully charged up. After that I went to my sound settings to see if they were connected and they were but they had changed to "Headphones (2- Arctis 7P+)" and they were originally just "Headphones (Artic 7P+). Does anybody know why I cant hear anything but the rest of my headset is working?

I've had the same problem with a Rival 600 & and a previous Rival 650 I am currently using my second Rival 650 that I purchased from the Steelseries website under a year ago I was wondering because I remember being told from someone in the Discord server a while ago when my first Rival 650 broke and them saying that "i shouldve bought directly from steel series because it comes with free warranty for a year" or something like that so I am wondering if I am able to receive a new one if I send this one back. Hello all, im sure this has been asked but if not or if someone can point me in the right direction. I recently started to run into an issue where my Headset (arctis pro wireless) disconnect and reconnects randomly (bought sep. 2020 and havnt had any issues till now)

Not familiar with wireless headsets tbh, but I have some general troubleshooting tips. If the headset has a dongle, take a look to make sure the connectors aren't borked/really dirty. Try plugging the dongle into another port in case the port has issues. I know you said it's wireless, but if there are wires in the setup (like using a gamedac or some shit, again, I don't know your setup), if you have a chance to try out different wires it could be worth it. Also, if you haven't already, uninstall the software, if any, that cooperates with the headset and reinstall. This would be done after you make sure any affiliated software is up to date.

Doesn't charge when computer is in hibernate. However power gets through as i can charge other devices through the same port with the same cable.

Software doesn't show my headset is charging, but the headset is blinking yellow in a slow kinda way. Yes, blinking slowly, not a fading yellow light.

Probably batteries going bad but still... I'd like to try every possibility. I read about a hard reset button under the left earpad. I used a needle to get inside but I don't feel a button... Feels more like the needle is going through some thick but penetrable material
