Just got Arctis Pro Wireless, and GG keeps breaking audio - for example, youtube videos simply will not play and Forza Horizon 5 will not launch. IT works for a bit, but after using my pc for a bit GG stops working (e.g adjusting sidetone volume odesnt work in-app) and the audio breaks. Uninstalling GG fixes it/

yeah should be. I'm really not that clued up on how spatial sound actually works. All I know is that theres several different codecs to allow your headset to interpret it.

My headset (Arctis Pro Wireless) seems to come with DTS Headphone:X whihc I can enable via steelseries GG

You can also get Dolby Atmos for Headphones for a small 1-time fee via the microsoft store

And my old headset (Razer Kraken TE) came with a dongle to use THX Spatial audio, although I didnt like it very much

I will say that in Forza Horizon 5 it sounds MUCH better with Dolby Atmos vs 'Off' selected

Hello, I bought an arctis pro + gamedac headset, the sound is perfect, on the other hand the microphone has a problem, it is very low I have to stick my mouth so that it detects my voice well, I put all my updated drivers + remove the old ones, tried with jack connectors too, but it's still the same. Seems that both pros have their issues, most likely because of the dac itself or some other pro feature, having to return my pro wireless because of the mic being extremely muffled and almost completely lacking in any detail

While settings are set to turn off OLED screen of arctis pro wireless base after some time and apps are constantly trying to display something like discord showing who's talking or lol showing stats, deaths, kills, etc screen can get stuck and it will look like multiple things are displayed at the same time. It also lags PC quite a lot during Discord call and game on LoL (i7-7700k, gtx1060, 24GB ram)

Hey, i came from HyperX Cloud 2 i never to change to global sound of Discord was always on 100% (middle of the output volume), now with the arctic 7+ the sound coming from Discord it's too low to a point i have to put on 200% to be able to hear them with the game. I'm missing something?

Hi everyone! I just got the Arctis 7+ and have been loving them so far, but I have a few questions regarding the headset. The instruction manual recommends to plug in the dongle directly into the Nintendo Switch. Can the headphones still work on the switch if the 4-pole 3.5mm audio cable is connected into the headphone jack instead? Or will I lose access to certain features on the headset like the volume slider when physically plugged into the switch?

Hello everyone - I'm having an issue with the Arctis Pro Wireless. I've had my headphones for about a month now and I've never run into this problem before. Randomly today though when I tried to both play Halo infinite and talk to my friend on Discord I can only ever hear on or the other. I tried changing the settings in discord, I tried changing my settings in game, I made sure that the slider between " game volume" and " chat volume" was in the center and not pushed all the way to one side

When I close halo I can hear discord perfectly, but when I open halo, I either continue to hear halo and can't hear the game, or I hear the game and can't hear anything coming from Discord

can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

Hello, I bought and Acrtis 7 wireless today. The problem I have now is if I listen to youtube vids with comentary the audio get broadcasted at my discord. But say if I'm listening to Tool at full audio nothing gets broadcast, can anyone help me out. Had and older set with wire before and I just plugged that in and it never was and problem, but my razer kraken before that had the same problem as this one.

Like say every vid with human commentary and so on that it on max audio does broadcast on discord, and I use the noise suppresion

Hi i just got my arctis 7+ and i feel like my mic is picking up every sound in my apartment. This is just based on the side tone and what I am hearing back into the headphones. I've tried playing around with the microphone settings in sonar, but nothing seems to improve. I'd really prefer for the mic to not pick up all of this background sound. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello everyone i am using Steelseries Arctis 5 since 2017 and i bought 2 just in case if the other one breaks. Today. i cant change the settings. i cant control the RGB lighting or the other stuff. I uninstalled the GG and fresh downloaded from the steelseries website. no luck with that. still the same. Then i installed the Steelseries engine 3.17.9 and no luck with that either. Then i decided to open the brand new (bought in 2017 never unboxed) steelseries arctis 5. But it has the same problems. i switched cables and no luck with that too. i own steelseries sensei raw mice as well and it still works perfectly. despite being older. Can someone help me? İ opened a ticket in steelseries help too but it feels that they will take a long time to answer.

So I just tried to stream a game and my whole system basically crashed and has done so with other games but this only started recently or recentish like 2 or 3 months ago and Steelseries GG seems to be the problem. When it happens my sound service crashes and crashes anything using it along with it so my thoughts are that maybe some sound drivers could be bad or maybe some other issue is at hand if you have any clue as to what please lend me your expertise. EDIT I use OBS to stream. EDIT 2 stream works fine with Steelseries GG closed.

I periodically have issues like that with the headset on launching discord and possibly other apps around the same time. I usually just unplug the transmitter and get the headset recognized again. Since I also often have a controller plugged in (which could mess with the audio routing) I try to plug that in after launching discord. I’m not sure if this will be applicable to you or not. Never have those issues on console though.

Just fyi, the headset does have onboard memory so any settings you change to the mic, eq, etc through engine will be saved locally on the headset and apply when using it on mobile

I recently got the artic 7 wireless for Christmas. Unfortunately I am already having issues with the product. Whilst playing games or listening to music etc, the right earphone will just drop out and almost lose all of its sound. I've tried a lot of things but cant seem to get them to consistently work, Should I try to return them or is there a fix for this?

It doesn't seem to be a problem with the headset(I think), but I have NOT experienced this problem at all before, earlier my microphone's sensitivity Spiked and won't go down while using Sonar. I have had no reason to touch any of my mic's settings and so I have never touched them since getting the headset for Christmas.
Before I muted my self on discord through a hot key EVERYTHING was fine and normal. Once I unmuted my mic the sensitivity had reached unknow levels and there was no real way to fix it. Sure I could turn down the sensitivity and volume but that doesn't fix the underlying problem, once I make the extra noise go away I'm too quite for people to properly hear me let alone have my voice be picked up unless borderline yelling.

The reason I said this to not be a direct issue with the headset is because if I disable ALL SONAR related items it goes back to normal kinda, it doesn't really feel the same. If anyone has any info as to why it might have spiked or a way to fix it, or if you also had this problem, please let me know. I kinda liked sonar, but now that it makes the experience worse I can't be using it
