So I just bought the Arctis pro gamedac and it seems that the sound is louder on the left side. I tried all types of different fixes aswell as playing around with multiple settings either from windows itself or the steelseries tool. Even on my laptop the sound is a lot louder on one side. Balance settings seem to be locked in place but are at the same level 🤷‍♂️ Any idea what it could be ? Might be me missing something but I can’t seem to figure it out

I try to start some games and they crash and wherever my cursor was on, it turns to that colour solid, My board with the debug lights say its VGA. I dont use the VGA ports, I use HDMI. Hello! My Sensei 310 suddenly stopped working. I was working in my Desktop this morning and the mouse was working fine. I came to the university, plugged my laptop on and then plugged the mouse in and nothing. The SteelSeries logo seems to flash twice very dimly everytime I unplug and replug. I tried holding both Left + Right click and DPI button in everyway and nothing happens. Did my mouse just died? I'm yet to retry the mouse back home, but no other computer here in my class seem to get it to work.

None of the analog headsets (Arcits 3, 1, and Prime) have Engine support because the Engine needs a USB data connection in order to get information about the headset and change settings

ah, it's a bug then. unplug/replug the transmitter (try a different port too) and try restarting Engine if it still doesn't show up, then do a reboot if that doesn't work. if it still doesn't show up, you can try reinstalling GG or find a previous version of Engine.

I have a L SteelSeries QCK Cloth RGB Mousepad and just a few minutes ago it's started freaking out

I have it set to the full rgb spectrum and an hour ago it decided to stay hard white

when i changed the settings it would properly rgb but only for 1-2 seconds before it'd go back to full white

now the entire mousepad is flashing between light blue and red, i'm not sure what's happening and if that's a warning system but idk what to do to fix it

I have a L SteelSeries QCK Cloth RGB Mousepad and just a few minutes ago it's started freaking out
I have it set to the full rgb spectrum and an hour ago it decided to stay hard white
when i changed the settings it would properly rgb but only for 1-2 seconds before it'd go back to full white
now the entire mousepad is flashing between light blue and red, i'm not sure what's happening and if that's a warning system but idk what to do to fix it

Don't know of a way to fix it, but my first Prism XL had that issue too where the whole bottom right section had extremely dim lighting. Contacted support and they gave me an RMA and sent me a new one which has much more even light distribution.

Hello everyone, have found nothing on the subject here right away.
I suspect like some others here, the audio source is switched frequently between speaker and in this case Steelseries Arctis 7+.
With my previous headset, the audio source was automatically switched when turning the headset on & off.
This is not the case with the Arctis 7+.That means I have to go into the Windows settings every time and change the audio source.
Does anyone know how to do this easier?

well saying it like that doesn't exactly inspire us to help you. if you want real support go make a ticket thru #official-support, in here is just community members helping each other(which we're not contracted or paid to do). If nobody answers it's because nobody knows, or they haven't looked through in a while, because we all have other jobs n stuff to do in our lives.

standard troubleshooting: turn it off/on again (unplug and replug), try a different port, restart Engine/GG, check to make sure there aren't any interfering programs (Nahimic, etc), restart computer, delete and reinstall Engine/GG. Try these one at a time in order, if it still doesn't work make a ticket and the support people might have some additional tips (factory reset? IDK if it has one but it might) or give you an RMA for it. Or, use a software like Nahimic to adjust your sound in the computer before it ever even gets to the headphones, it will have the same effect.

Is it possible my mouse is interfering with my wifi connection (Rival 3 Wireless)

if I plug in the dongle, my wifi dies (slows down the internet or doesn't wanna connect to the router at all)

currently using bluetooth atm and now the internet works

(and no, I can't use ethernet, it's impossible to run an ethernet cable to this room)

If you have an older (or lower spec) computer with only a 2.4GHz WiFi radio then yes there's a possibility for interference, although I think that's unlikely in the best of cases. What's more likely is that whatever controls that particular USB port is on the same or nearby circuit to the WiFi control circuit, and that is the source of the issue. Try using a different USB port or a USB hub, preferably plugged in elsewhere on the computer (If desktop and you normally plug in front, try rear, and vice versa, if laptop, plug on other side) and see if that helps. If the WiFi still dies, right click on the icon in the taskbar and choose "Troubleshoot" to see if it comes up with anything. If still nothing, I don't know what the issue is and it's probably beyond my understanding.

Also, to eliminate the possibility of interference, use a USB extension cable and put the dongle across the desk from the computer. My Rival 650 came with an adapter for this purpose, I don't know if the Rival 3 has it as well.

check to make sure that the button on the back of the headset is in the "Unmuted" position (the light on the mic should not be red)

also check your sound source both in Windows and in whatever program you're using

does steelseries have a good keyboard driver for customizing the lighting profiles? i have a corsair and i like being able to import profiles that people have already made and dont wanna lose this good UI

GG/Engine is alright for doing your own thing but there's no option to import profiles from other people so you'll have to do everything yourself. As far as functionality, other than that it's pretty good and has a good share of nice features, it's limited in some regards and great in others

I installed Steelseries GG and it told me I needed to update my Rival 3 Wireless' firmware. The process took a few minutes and seemed to work fine. After that, I went to customize the mouse's settings. I turned on the power-saving mode or whatever it's called and the mouse disconnected from the 2.4ghz receiver. Now, I cannot get it to connect in 2.4ghz mode, even using the pair option in the software.

I've had similar issues ever since Steelseries GG put these Sonar devices in the Windows sound settings. Mic level gets set to zero and it wont let me adjust it. I had to uninstall Steelseries GG to get the mic to work again. I could then reinstall Steelseries GG but it only works for a few days and then mic level gets set to zero again. I uninstalled and reinstalled a third time and lasted for about 3 weeks or so until it again set the mic to zero. I think I'm done with Steelseries GG. Although I love the sounds quality of the heatset I have not been impressed with the software. Honestly the headset seems to work just as well if not better without the GG software.

I've got an issue with my Arctis 5 headset.
It was working just fine for the past year, but now I've noticed that I can't change any sound settings. That is changing the default settings to any of my gaming presets does not work (manually or automatically) and changing anything in the default profile has no influence on the sound or the lighting.
Any ideas what's wrong?

check if the correct device is selected in the program you are using. If your computer has separate mic and headphone ports you will need to use a splitter cable. also make sure the mic button is in the un-muted position

hey, guys I just got a new Arctis pro with gamedac and im having some probs actually setting it up, I have followed everything i can find online as well as possible and installed all the necessary software, however, for some reason the mic works and I can hear myself through playback whenever I use m external speakers, but the audio isn't coming through on the headset.
The gamedac recognzes that there is audio and I can see the DTS on equaliser showing the levels but I cant hear anything and changing the audio output doesn't change anything, and ive tried all the diff outputs avialiable

I know with hearing yourself through playback is a toggle you can turn off

Engine is integrated into GG. When you download GG just go
to the Engine tab to configure your device. Depending on the device you have, Engine should auto detect it. However MSI laptop keyboards need to use the version of SteelSeries software accessible through MSI's support page for your specific laptop model, and if you have an analog (3.5mm) wired headset, those don't have Engine support

you can try on a different device to make sure your cable actually works, a phone or a tablet with a combo jack should be able to detect the mic

you can use device manager to uninstall the realtek drivers, then reboot and it should reinstall automatically, if not you can use Device manager again to install. Sometimes also booting the PC with the mic plugged in will make it recognize it, I had to do that a while back when I had some issues with realtek detecting a particular pair of headphones

I can disable enhancements in headphones properties and it somehow fixes it, but now I have my headset turning off after 30 minutes if I'm not talking in a discord call with someone.

Hey guys! So I received my arctis pros wired (with gamedac)about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that the left speaker plate only has one magnet, the top one. I created a ticket but after a week and lengthy response delays I got suggested for a replacement of the whole headset because they didn't have any replacement speaker plates hanging around. I don't want to send the headset back because it's gonna take 3 weeks for it to arrive to their facility in Europe and then come back to me and I don't have a backup headset laying around. Is anyone else having issues like this? If yes how did you find a solution? I will also provide some screenshots of the support ticket

Hey folks, Before i open a ticket i was wondering if anyone can help here.

Recently got the arctis pro+dac, everything is wired correctly, everything is tight. but every now and then i will get loads of static feed back from voice chat for a few seconds then it goes. Game chat still stays clear tho. Anyone have an idea?

Hey, The discord giveaway thing doesn't appear in my Steelseries GG, even after enabling moments. Anyone got a solution?

This is what shows up in the home and the moments tabs.

The giveaway section doesn't have anything either.

Could you go to settings, look in about and make sure you are on the latest version?

might be a silly question but
a) do you have GG or engine already installed? if so, uninstall
b) try downloading the installer again from our website

i dont have it installed and i tried downloading again, i actually suceeded to install it by terminating a CMD process that was attached to the installer but then when i open the app it doesnt detect the device so I figured what i terminated had something to do with it

so idrk what to do now
