I have a problem with System Monitor. When I turn it on.. it stays on for like 5 seconds, then I see that keyboard lights flicker off and on and System Monitor is off again. Also got this error in System Events

You have to go into your actual steam folder and add the .exe launcher for the game. You can't add a shortcut

Adding the MC launcher itself should work just fine, unless it's a custom launcher of some kind then it's hit or miss. I think some people have gotten some custom launchers to work but not others

my apex 3 keyboard hasn't been working, it kind of works. but the keyboard letters ( most of them including the numbers ) don't work. and what i mean by "most of them" is meaning that "b,g,h,d,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,t,s,u,y" and "3567890" are the only ones that work. "s" only works when i press "scrl lock" idk why it's doing this, but i haven't used it in a year and a half due to it. can i fix it? cause i really love it but i just cant use it cause it wont work

Try a factory reset. If that doesn't fix it and the warranty has expired then you're kind of out of luck unless you could find a third party repair shop to take a look at it

Hey guys. Just wondering. My headset (Arctis Pro Wireless) is crackling when I press the mute button. It sounds like the beep sound file they use to notify the user that he's muted is distorted in some way. I already tried these solutions : Factory reset the device, change USB ports, change from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0, removing the battery for 30 minutes, updating the SteelSeries Software, disabling "Sound enhancements" under the general Windows audio settings and turning off the sidetone feature. Is there a way to reflash the firmware? It might just be a corrupted sound file, or do you guys have any other suggestions perhaps?

Rival 3 : Steelseries GG is glitchy, most of the time the software does what it wants as multicolour breath was a steady orange and colorshift rainbow is a steady blue and when i save colour templates it sometimes infinitely loads or never lets me load/close GG???

Does anyone know how to disable the low battery beep on the actis 7? It's super annoying and it starts happening even when the battery has hours of life left in it.

I doubt that there's a way (I don't have the headset so I can't check), but something you could do is let the battery run completely dry. It's generally not a great idea to do this, but it might make the headphones realize there's more juice.
Again, I'm not sure that this will work, but it's helped on different brands of headphones.

I have the Arctis 3 Bluetooth and I play on console. The original cord with the blue end broke (8-pin to 3.5mm jack). I bought some random cord off Amazon but now whenever I wanna use the Bluetooth for music (connected to my phone) while plugged into my controller for game audio at the same time (this used to work flawlessly), the audio gets really wonky. Why is this? Do I need a specific cord from Steelseries for this to stop happening?

hey so i have a arctis 3 bluetooth and i cant connect to the microphone and have good sound quality at the same time?

i have 2 different options for the audio and its "Headphones (Arctis 3 bluetooth stero)" and "headphones (Arctis 3 bluetooth hands-free AG audio)" the problem is that the prior has proper audio quality and the former has a really blurred and muffled audio. i can only use the hands free option for a mic and its really bothering me (btw ive tried using both of the inputs but it doesent work)

And no, I'll charge it when I'm done with my session, the fact that it beeps every 10 fucking seconds is just stupid and flawed, at least give us the option to increase the time before the next beep if you're not going to give us the ability to disable it completely. I'd much rather have it beep when it's ACTUALLY close to being drained, rather than 30%-50% left.

Hi yall, I wanted to ask about an issue Im having with my Rival 5 mouse. I will create a profile for a specific game and then start that game. The correct profile will be active then after the game is launched it will revert to a different profile. I have made sure Im using the correct file location and redone the profile many times but the issue still persist. I wanted to see if anyone had any insight on it.

It's a software bug, not specific to your mouse. The same thing happens all the time with my Apex Pro TKL, Rival 650, and Arctis 9. I used to have specific profiles set up for everything for different games but got tired of them reverting mid-game so now I just manually select the profiles before I launch a game. It's a bit of a hassle, but to me a lot less trouble than dealing with the profiles getting out of whack later on

My arctis 7s that I picked up 1/29/21 have been making glitching out within the last month. I sit 3 feet from the wireless receiver unmoving and the headset will repeatedly disconnect then reconnect within a few seconds giving me the noise notification and the light on the receiver will turn ff and on to show disconnection. There are also times where there will be a lot of crackling/robotic interference where I’ll lose sound (my friends can still hear me fine in game chat) and this will happen every few minutes for ~3-10 seconds. I’ve lost sound completely once or twice but turning the headphones off and turning them back on again fixed it. Both of these issues also happen while I have the headset plugged in.

I have checked drivers. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the steel series hardware. I’ve change the usb plug the receiver is plugged into. Thought it might be an app related thing but it happens when only discord is running and also when only Spotify is running.

Anyone experience anything like this before? Is my headset just dying? Is this some sort of internal issue or am I missing an easy program fix?

System Monitor is an open source software client, it's not controlled by SteelSeries. Unfortunately the last update for it was in December of last year adding support for Zen 3 CPUs. There's been no word on when/if the program will be updated again to support RX6000 cards. I'm in the same boat as you unfortunately with my 6800XT

Is anyone else having trouble with the Arctis Pro Wireless (or other Arctis headsets with ChatMix) and Discord? Sometimes (it's inconsistent) when I join a voice channel, all the output from both the Game and Chat channels of my headset goes silent. People can hear me from my mic, but I can't hear them or my game. Leaving the voice channel brings back my game audio. If I set my PC audio output to the Chat device instead of Game, I can hear the game and the voice chat, but of course then I can't use ChatMix. Any ideas?

I have the Arctis Pro Wireless, I did quite all the "normal" things, reset, pair again, uninstall steelseries gg etc. I can see that my headset is connected to the transmitter, and that my PC sees my Headset. But somehow either "Sonar Gaming" or "Sonar Chat", and the Microphone isnt working anymore? And what is up with the "Sonar" I never had that description of my headset. Now it is there and I can't hear a thing.

Hello ! My computer updated my engine to GG. I can't find my gear anymore in this tool. I can't control my headset settings anymore. I don't have access to all my macros. I'm kinda reaaaaaallllly pissed.

I get to the settings, force a sync. Then everything crashes. I can kill the process then open it again. Then I get to the Gear list.

When I click on one, it's an empty box with nothing to see/do

And it tells me that my Arctis Pro is not connected when it is so connected that it actually works.

Why would you change a perfectly functioning software making me happy and satisfied for a "blog", "moments" POS that can't let me configure my gear anymore ?

Simple question : apart from uninstalling this crappy soft, reinstalling a former version and blocking any auto update, is there a solution with GG to simply... get access to my gear configuration ?

Oh and yeah, each time I reboot the computer, the list of Engine gets wiped and I need to "sync" manually again, kill the process because it crashes again then relaunch. Not that it is any use since... The config list is still empty and useless.

Well I was able to fix it yesterday, I activated Sonar. So, today I used the headset- everything was fine. Suddenly the headset stopped working again, when I plug the Transmitter in and out the, the audio settings can "see" the Arctis Gaming and Chat for like 3 seconds, then they disappear. But Sonar Gaming and Chat is always there, has to be a problem with that, but even deactivating sonar doesnt help. I am so desperate at this moment tbh.

Hello, I have recently bought the SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC, but I am just enable to find the right settings for me. Every EQ settings that I have found on internet for this headset it's just seems to be not for me.
Music sound excelent on this headset, but when I play CS:GO (I bought the Arctis PRO+GameDAC mainly for CS:GO) the sound it's awful sad to say that.
I just can't seem to figure it out where the footsteps / gunshots comes from.
The sound in CS:GO seems to be very distant, I don't really know how to describe it but it feels like there is an echo.

has anyone found a fix for radeon 6000 series cards making the system monitor GG app for the 710 oled crash and turn itself off after a couple seconds on the CPU display, no matter which other sections are enabled or even if that's the only one? steelseries support just told me it was a known issue with no fix and that they couldn't swap it out for a refurb of a different model like i asked bc they dont do inhouse refurbs.

alternatively anyone know of a third party app for the oled that does... literally anything useful? or anyone wanna trade their lightly used rival 7 or sensei ten or heck any roughly comparably priced arctis headset for this 710? the hardware works just fine but this software issue means on my system post-gpu upgrade it's been reduced to a low res looping gif player for me and that's not even worth using it over the G600 i bought it to replace, trading so many of my rebindable mouse buttons for a monochromatic gif next to my thumb and haptics on like 6 games that support it is a downgrade not an upgrade :/

It probably won't work unless you can add Discord manually as a "game". Even then the chances of it working are slim to none since it's not actually a game. Just use a normal screen recorder like OBS

So like I said, use a screen recorder. You could enable desktop recording in either GeForce Experience or Radeon ReLive (depending on your GPU) and record Discord that way as well if you don't want to install OBS. Moments is specifically for gameplay clipping, which is why you can only clip up to the last 5 minutes of gameplay

So going to Settings -> About doesn't show an available update? If not, do a manual sync of your profile and unstill the current version then download a brand new install file from the website. After that just log in again and manually sync your profile to get all your settings back

so just turned my Arctis pro wireless on and mic was muted, went to unmute the mic but the red light stayed on and never unmuted. Tried pressing the button a few times to see if it was just stuck muted. it makes the noise as if it was muting the mic but the light never turned off and couldnt hear the side tone.

They aren't totally different, I think the main factor in preferance is the shape, it might be worth it if it fits you better. You won't tell the difference between the sensors but the aerox is noticeably lighter. It's really up to you

The "Cerfitifed" output is the Chat output. Setting the Discord output to that will allow you to mix your Game and Chat volume with the chat mix wheel on the headset

So you can make on output louder than the other depending on if you want to hear more of your Discord call or more of your game

you will have to set the default output from windows to the game output and the default connunication device to the chat

"Game" is just considered the main audio output. That one should be set as the default audio output device in windows and you can set the chat output for specfific programs like Discord, spotify, an internet browser if you watch youtube while you game, ethat kinda stuff

It's basically just an easy way to mix the levels of two different audio sources on the fly

GG is a program that encompasses a few different softwares. The SteelSeries Engine lets you change and create lightning profiles for the keyboard, and with the Apex 7 lets you set custom gifs on the OLED screen. The Engne also has apps that offer things like game inegrations with custom lighting profiles and for the OLED there's the System Monitor app which can show you CPU, GPU, RAM, etc. usage while in a game
