Ok. So. When I plug in my arctis 5 via usb into my MacBook Pro 2015, the audio stops coming from my headset and plays through my speakers. This happens for like two seconds and then it goes back to playing through headset. Also everyone said my mic sounds choppy and they can’t hear me properly when it’s plugged in through USB port. Headphones jack no issues at all

Q: I ordered a set of PrismCaps for my Apex Pro. But the surface of the new keys is a lot more ... rough, for lack of a better word, ... than the surfaces of the keys that shipped with the Apex Pro.

Hello, I have an issue with my wireless receiver on my relatively recent steelseries 7P. Any slight movement with the dongle or the cable that connects it to the PC disconnects the headset. This happens on both PC [which is USB A ->c convertor into the receiver] and phone [direct usb c connection] Any idea why that might be happening? the connection is stable around whole house as long as the dongle doesnt move but any movement just makes it die

So bluetooth has several different formats. The standard one used if you have a headset (mic + speaker) is the crappy bluetooth headset mode. It has low quality audio. A2DP has much better audio quality. (the choice is in bluetooth services)

and can you still use the mic while its with the A2DP, because I tried awhile ago to get better quality by disabling and enabling different audio devices and I got it to work but whenever I go into a discord vc or xbox party it goes back to the bad quality one without stereo

I never had any luck with mic and A2DP on the same device. In windows it works 100% but in programs like games it never works.

HSP bluetooth is for headsets, it may be an improvement over HFP (handsfree)

My easiest solution to audio hardware not working inside the pc is actually USB audio. (it does use a tiny bit of cpu performance) If your mic works and it's a boom mic (not part of the headset) you can always use bluetooth A2DP for hearing and wired mic for mic.

yeah i have a boom mic but everytime i plugged it in a notification popped up saying usb surge but then i stopped using the mic for a little then just now plugged it back in and it works

My APEX 7 freezes about 1 time a week. The OLED stops and no buttons work. Tu fix I have to re-plug USB.

Looking for ideas if there Is there any way to fix it like refreshing the USB connection through maybe a powershell command or something?

I guess its a bug in the FW and not something I should RMA for.

Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless mouse not connecting wirelessly to the 2.4 wireless dongle. Tried reconnecting and plugging back in all ways possible and this issue emerged after a firmware update. My Arctis Pro Wireless receiver is not connecting to my PC. I hear PC audio through my headphones however it seems to be an issue with the driver. Greetings, so I have bought the rival 600 eight months ago and besides the silicone pads on the side, everything was completely fine. For around a week my mouse doesn't work anymore, the RBG won't go on and the courser also doesn't move, so I have tried everything the quick support told me to and nothing worked.... I need help with my artic pro, i just got a new one since the cable on the other one broke and the mute button was stuck.
When the new one arrived i hopped into a discord call and my friend could only hear me if i put my mic in my mouth.
So i went on discord,Windows and on the engine and turned up the mic volume and i still was the same even on Audacity.

hey guys, I've owned a SteelSeries Arctis 5 for 5 years now and only recently has it stop detecting my microphone. I have tested the mic on an xbox and pc with 3.5mm jack and everything works perfectly.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, changing microphone privacy in windows and checking if the microphone is turned up in SteelSeries GG and in windows settings yet it will not pick up the microphone at all.

Any help would be appreciated as I use my microphone daily and I haven't been able to use it for the past week

I have an Arctis 9 Wireless headset. When I turn the volume higher, I hear wind-like noises as if someone's blowing into my ears. This is with an EQ preset where the Bass is high. On Flat, I don't hear it anymore, so I guess it's only on the lower frequences where they get replaced by the wind noise.
Are they broken? Anyone else experience this? Is this behavior normal on wireless? I have them since March and I never heard this before.
I tested with bluetooth from phone and there's no issue there.

What sound format are you using? You can check by going into Windows settings, sound, sound control panel, selecting the Arctis 9 Game device, going to properties, click the Advanced tab, and click the drop down box under format options. Make sure the highest quality option is selected

Do you have any other wireless peripherals? It's possible the headset is picking up some interference from another wireless signal at higher volumes. As far as I know mine doesn't have the issue on max volume, although I usually leave my PC sound at 100 and use the on-board volume wheel to control the level in the headset

About 2 weeks ago, I began to notice problems with the sudden disconnection of the sensor. At the moment of shutdown, all other functions work (click, macros, scroll) At the same time, there is no sound of disconnecting the device from the computer. (no windows sound about disconnection)
Only disconnecting the mouse from the computer and re-enabling it fixes the problem. The problem returns at random intervals.
Sensor calibration and cleaning have not yielded results.

Update: Closeing the app in task manager, and seems to have fixed the weird flickering of random colors. Now it just switches colors like it did when I bought it.

Arctis 5 wired headset: When having 7.1 turned on, I hear small pops/crackles when the audio source stops, eg. when stopping or skipping on a youtube-video. If turned off, this does not happen. Anything to do about it?

I could always just turn 7.1 off, but I think the sound feels fuller with it and I also like low bass enhancement, but that cannot be turned on without 7.1.

ngl thats how i fixed this issue of design flaw of these headset where the point the ear pieces connect to the head rest broke off.(in my opinion its a design flaw due to the amount of people that have this issue and dont get me wrong i love these headsets)

My ChatMix dial decided to reverse. Where it would normally turn down the chat volume, it now turns down game volume and vice versa. I've looked around and saw that it typically happened when the Chat and Game audio were not set to Default Communication and Default Device, respectively, but I double checked and my audio is set correctly. I also uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, but that did nothing.
Anyone have a solution?

Arctis pro wireless: My headsets starts beeping and the DAC shows the battery I'm currently using is almost empty. So I swap my battery, and put it in the charging port from the DAC.
It starts charging at 50% (2 bars and then it starts charging)
Anyway to fix this?

Arctis Pro Wireless: If I change the audio of my PC to the game channel I don't hear anything and for example spotify & youtube crashes, the slider on the OLED screen is in the middle. So I can't use the 'Game' channel, if I change to 'Chat' it does work but its not suppose to be that way

If you're talking about the 9X, then the only way it would work is by plugging in via 3.5mm to a controller. Wireless isn't gonna work unless the console has bluetooth and you can connect the headset wireless that way. If you're talking about the regular Arctis 9 then it will work wireless on the PS4 with the USB dongle

Hi guys, I’m having problems with an arctis wireless pro. The ps4 does not detect them if source is ps4, if I change it to PC it works, but in call of duty people can’t hear me while in Sony audio group they can. I’ve tried to plug it to my pc and my Mac and it does not show in GG software so I can’t update it to try. Would you give any advice please?

So I recently bought a pair of arctis 7p and I find that the left ear cup Is a lot more comfortable than the right hand one. I find my left ear is completely covered (over the ear) by the padding and doesn't touch up against the sides whereas on the right hand side, the bottom part of my ear kinda gets in the way of the headset “pad” making it not fit as snug and resulting in a bit of discomfort over long play time. This is more than likely just due to the fact that my one ear may be slightly lower than the other which is what it is as I can't do anything about it. It's a shame as they are extremely comfortable otherwise, and might just need some getting used too

Recently, the headset has been REALLY bad
the mic is terrible quality in the software
and in discord my friend's can barely even hear me when i use (i constantly cut in and cut out)
and the worst part is the audio, depending on where the cable is, I hear audio in my left or right ear
and if I pull on it, it always goes to both

Hello! I've been happily using Apex Pro kb for a while now, but like a week ago I noticed that while having wave effect for RGB my left CTRL goes off-color from time to time. After little investigation I realized that the blue led is almost dead in that. Tried the unplug > press scroll and the other key > plugin back -trick but that didn't help. FW is also the newest. Anything else I could try or should I contact reseller in terms of warranty? I suppose those leds aren't user switchable?

Hey everyone, i just bought the Arctis 9 wireless headphones. They... they sound like someone's already listened to the music before you got to do so, if that makes sense? It's like the sound quality I'd expect from low end earbuds, not a 220€ top brand headset. Am I doing something wrong?
