I've had an Arctis 9 (wireless) for about a month now, and I'm appalled at how terrible the sound quality is out of the box. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the Game channel on the highest audio setting, and the only way it sounds acceptable is if I use Peace / the APO to do a bit of tweaking, and even then it sounds pretty bad.

Additionally, SteelseriesGG doesn't work for me - when I modify settings, they don't actually apply to the headphones for some reason.

And for anybody asking how bad the sound quality is, it's pretty terrible - I even prefer my old headphones at a third of the cost, or even AirPods/earbuds...

So, I'm messing around trying to get this to work. I uninstalled Peace and EqualizerAPO, and SteelSeriesGG worked for about 10 seconds until something massively broke, and now YouTube won't work. I think the audio drivers crashed or something similar? I had this issue out of the box as well until I installed EqualizerAPO and Peace.

Fixed the audio driver crash / not working by flicking DTS on then off. But, the rest of SteelSeriesGG still doesn't work

Particularly annoying is sidetone - especially if I want to turn it on or off on a whim, the software won't work, or it'll work and leave me with it stuck on for a few days until it decides to work again

Restarted my headphones, and the issue is back. YouTube returns "Audio render error. Please restart your computer."

For anybody with this same issue, I uninstalled everything including SteelSeriesGG, then reinstalled SteelSeriesGG. It sounds all right now. Nothing stellar, but I suppose the price premium comes from it being wireless anyways.

Sucks that I have to install SteelSeriesGG to get acceptable sound quality - if I bring my headset to somewhere else (eg gaming lounge), it'll go back to sounding terrible...

Is there a way to make the white for my Rival 3 EVEN whiter? It's white, but it still looks blue for some reason and it doesn't match my keyboard. If you compare it to my keyboard it's extremely blue, I don't know why as I set it to the whitest setting.

Hey, I am having a problem with my Arctis Pro Wireless on PC. Mid game I suddenly lost sound. I tried to turn the headsett off and on again, but it wouldn't play sound. The transmitter didn't show that the headset was turned off. I've tried repairing, switching batteries, restarting the computer, uninstalled the Steelseries software and installed version 3.14, and uninstalled that and installed version 4, but to no avail. The headset still connects to my phone over bluetooth, but it just won't pair to my transmitter. I've also removed the drivers from Windows and allowed steelseries to reinstall them.

Anyone encountered this before? Any tips I haven't tried yet?

On there you can change where the programs are outputting and the volume of the programs. It appears on the taskbar and you can switch the output if you right click the program on the ui

I have a rival series 500 mouse. The engine software has never automatically associated any given profile with the associated game, so I have always had to go in and manually select the right profile in advance. Not a big deal, but this week the software not only does not associate the game profile to the game, even when selected in advance the key binds are not recognized in game. I updated the software and thought perhaps the associated applications were no longer associated with the individual profiles, but I cannot edit existing profiles, and I cannot even create new game profiles. I would completely uninstall the software and start from scratch, but I am reluctant to do so because it would be difficult to re-establish all of my game profiles and I cannot locate an export function. This issue only arose after I updated the software this week. Any ideas?

My Arctis pro wireless will not go into pairing mode with Bluetooth, and continues to spontaneously disconnect and reconnect from the base at random close intervals between seconds and minutes. I've found that this occurs with both batteries, and distance does not change the severity of the error. Any possible fixes?

i'm trying to create a keybinding/macro that lets me hit alt+f10 on my PageUp button, but for some reason both the keybinding method and the macro method dont work

if i try it as a keybind for some reason after i hit save the keybind only registers as Left Alt

and if i try it as a macro it'll catch the press and release of alt, but not the press of f10, it only catches the release of f10

if i make it a keyboard binding, it'll save as L alt + f10, but once i close out of the engine and open it back up it only shows the binding as Left alt

Does anyone have the Rival 600 mouse? I just bought one and I'm really struggling with setting it up. I've installed the Steelseries GG as well as the proper engine for my mouse. I can move the cursor and use the scroll wheel, but neither the left or right click buttons are working. I restarted my computer as well as tried to use it on a different computer. No change. Did I really just receive a defective mouse in the mail? It came today.

• They just reappear next time I launch device manager

i was having trouble downloading the 5.10 update, when you try and download it the program closes after loading for a bit and then nothing happens, and when you open it yourself its still v4.0. after it finally downloaded after a few attempts it gave me this screen whenever i opened setting's on the engine, the headset works fine but i just cant change any of the setting's on my computer. is this an isolated problem or are any others also having this issue?

I don't think there's a way to update the shipping address without cancelling the order, but you can look under the "Orders" section of your account on the website (assuming you ordered from there) and check for yourself. I got my steelseries arctis pro wireless yesterday and i seem to have a problem with the audio.

I dont have audio and when i start a video or anything else, i dont have sound and the video is stopping all the time like if my PC is blocking the video because it detects that the audio doesnt come through

I'm having issues with the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headset i bought back in may of 2020 i've had this issue but only with the headset plugged into my computer for charging. Sometimes randomly you will hear beeping noises like it's pairing and getting disconnected or something like i said before this only used to happen when the headset was plugged in and sometimes i would have pair the headset again but unplugging it seemed to make it so it would not do this but now even with the headset unplugged i get random beeping noises like the one's when you turn your headphones off and on.

I've had the issue with the head ever since they were bought but since it wasn't an issue if i just unplugged the headset i didn't bother me much but the random beeping now is quite annoying do you think there's any chance i could have steel series fix this issue?

Hiya, also creating a Steelseries support ticket but maybe someone here can help out - I got a firmware update pushed for my Arctis 9 today, but after installing it the indicator light on the headset keeps blinking blue. Steelseries GG doesn't detect the headset anymore, and when connecting the USB cable, Windows recognises it as 'Steelseries Arctis 9 Bootloader'. Anyone ever seen this before?

hi my msi dragon steelseries keyboard not working properly especially upon startup, some keys repeating or not typing... i tried uninstalling the driver from device manager and so then need to reinstall it, where can i find the driver? it's not included in the drivers list in msi website for my laptop. the only i found in steel series website is the gg/engine download and thought that would have the driver but seems not so.
