So I uninstalled SteelSeries GG, removed all the drivers associated with the Artis Pro + GameDAC, then rebooted, reinstall GG first, then plugged in my GameDAC and once Windows installed it, I was able to share my screen with audio

Then GG wanted me to install "additional drivers" for my headset

after that, lost ability to share my screen with audio

Driver issue I guess?

I might chime in with my 2 cents - it tends not to be the network that causes these strange issues, it is likely the VPN client. Some VPN clients (like the Citrix Receiver) have additional security measures to prevent screen capturing etc when you are connecting to a workplace. I know that I strangely can't play some Steam games because of this. It probably isn't the problem for your issue, but I imagine it could mess some people up.

I can't speak for your GameDAC, but I do use the DTS stuff with my wireless Arctis Pro and it doesn't have a problem with screen sharing audio. Might be worth a try to rule it out as a factor. If it doesn't fix it, you can re-install it again.

Got a new arctis pro. Wired, with chatmix. Using windows 10. I've set up engine 3, windows settings with chat and game devices selected how I believe they are supposed to be.

Trying to use discord to talk to rocket league teammates, and everything seems to work just fine when I'm just in discord. HOWEVER as soon as I open up Rocket League and start driving around a little, my mic sound no longer transmits to discord at all and nobody can hear me. Or sometimes it just cuts in and out a lot but mostly not working when I'm in game actually trying to play. If I pause the game it seems to somewhat work. If I minimize or quit the game it resumes normal functionality.

I've tried all kinds of discord settings for input and output device, and not sure if I'm just not getting the right combination, or if there's something else I should be doing altogether to make this work?

Where if I rest my index and middle finger on the left and right mouse buttons, and I lift my mouse off the mousepad, and then place it back down, the left and right mouse buttons activate

I'm coming from the Endgame Gear XM1(r) and it had the same "slam click" issue, but was fixed with software updates

I need some help

So When I plug in the transmitter it doesn't turn the white light on, so it seems like its off. Then I tried plugging in the headphones and they connect to the pc and are called "SteelSeries Arctis 7 Bootloader". When I installed the software to see if that would fix it, it doesn't even show that it is connected on there. I got them around June 2nd 2021. (the USB ports on my PC are all working)

Does anyone know how to get the SteelSeries GG Engine to work? I plugged in my new headset: SteelSeries Arctis Pro (just bought it an hour ago) and when I click on the 'Engine' Sidebar Tab... nothing shows up to use the GUID for Engine

I tried unplugging and replugging, uninstalling SteelSeries GG and reinstalling, and also restarting my computer. None of those solutions helped.

Open the Windows sound settings, click on sound control panel on the right side, find the Arctis Pro (game) channel, select it then click properties, go into the advanced tab and make sure the output is set to the highest available quality in the drop down. Also do the same thing for the chat output

Are you capturing with elevated permissions? If not, try turning that on by going to the moments tab in GG and at the top of the screen where it says "ready to capture" click the drop down arrow then select the elevated permissions option. If that doesn't work try a reinstall of GG.

It is weight, it gets in the way of things, sometimes there’s no sound at all since I didn’t turn into correct mode. It sucks.

You can use the 3.5mm adapter that came in the box, but then you lose engine functionality since you aren't connecting it via USB and the only way to connect via USB is through the ChatMix.

Sounds like you should have bought one of the wireless headset like the 7 or 9 if you don't like wires. Or the 3, 1, or the Prime if you don't want engine support and just want a simple plug and play headset

I'm not staff but I might have a bit be able to help, make sure everything on your computer is up to date. I tend to have issues with mine if I'm not running the latest windows or an audio driver has just stopped working (weird but it's happened before and caused a similar issue) you can troubleshoot your drivers in your settings which would be the best way to find any issues via that.

On ps4 with the wireless dongle i get audio no mic, if i use the 3.5mm chord with my controller i get both audio and can use mic.

On my pc I cant get the GG app to open so i downloaded just the old engine and it picks up my headset but says its unsupported on discord.
Before going into a voice channel discord picks up my mic but as soon as i enter it drops all input.

you get used to the no auto wake. ehhh any downsides. well Id say the sidebuttons are not my favorite but again. you really get used to them other than that not really any flaws

I have the Artis Pro Wireless. They've worked fine for years. I go to use my PC today and I can't select them for output. After some digging, I see the devices under Device Manger but under Control Panel -> Sounds both Arctis devices are "Disconnected". (not disabled). I've uninstalled the drivers. Rebooted. Reinstalled GG, etc. I can't figure it out. I have the latest GG and all the Windows Updates are applied too.

Got a new arctis pro. Wired, with chatmix. Using windows 10. I've set up engine 3, windows settings with chat and game devices selected how I believe they are supposed to be.

Trying to use discord to talk to rocket league teammates, and everything seems to work just fine when I'm just in discord. HOWEVER as soon as I open up Rocket League and start driving around a little, my mic sound no longer transmits to discord at all and nobody can hear me. Or sometimes it just cuts in and out a lot but mostly not working when I'm in game actually trying to play. If I pause the game it seems to somewhat work. If I minimize or quit the game it resumes normal functionality.

I've reinstalled the ss software, both engine and gg. I've reinstalled device drivers multiple times. I've set windows sound settings for default chat/game devices. I've set the discord voice options many different ways. I've tried multiple USB ports. I've installed new USB drivers even. Same problem persists =\ any ideas?

I wanted to submit a support ticket and all I got was this tiny little window in the bottom right corner that refused to even let me submit anything. It just kept telling me to "correct the marked field above" but there was nothing marked that I could correct!

hello I have a Rival 650 wireless and whenever I want to do a firmware update it always fails and To remedy this you can manually put your device into bootloader mode.

With your Engine 3 software opened to your 'My Gear' tab, try the following:

1. Unplug your mouse.

2. Plug your mouse in while holding down both the left and right buttons and the CPI button simultaneously.

This will enter bootloader mode manually and allow you to update the firmware accordingly. help not

Hey all, I've got the Arctis 7 and using it on PC, but i've noticed the headphones don't get very loud. Even at full volume in windows, in the game, and max volume slider on the headphones as well as the other slider either being 100% game mix doesn't change anything. Other headphones i've got get too loud at 100% volume, whereas these are just not very loud. Is this an issue with my specific headphones, or an issue with the arctis 7's?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the auto-clip enabled games just have certain presets for the clips they save that can't be changed. You should put the idea in #moments-feature-request though

i am haveing a problem with my arctis 7p they arrived today and left side is louder then the right side when i connected them with jack i could change balance in windows but when its on wireless i cant do that and i dont want to use third party software. i connected by usb and the problem still was there i even tried connecting it through my phone wirelessly still the same problem

I've finally gotten the correct cord to use my Artics 3 headset mic again but have found that the headset doesn't pop up anywhere at all on my PC. Haven't found my headset in either playback or recording in the "Sound" settings. Yes I've made sure all my cord are plugged in correctly and they are all plugged in the right place as well.

Mine does the same thing if you turn the controller off and back on without unplugging the receiver it sets you as player 2,3,4, then back to 1 but I never have any problems using it to game even if I'm not player one. Should definitely contact support about it

Support operates on normal working hours which are 9AM to 5PM central standard time Monday-Friday in the US, and probably similar for Europe. The Chat Support is just an automated bot that will try to recommend solutions or FAQ articles for solutions based on how you describe your issue. If you want to talk to a real person you have to fill out a ticket and wait for a response. And you won't get any official support here in Discord

Don't ask to ask. Describe the problem and if someone knows the answer they'll respond. If not, your next step should be checking the SteelSeries support page to see if an article there can help you out, or creating an official ticket through #official-support

Factory reset the headset. There's articles on the website that'll help with that, but your manual should also explain how to do it. There should be a little pin hole you can poke with a paper clip or pen head. Not sure how long you might have to hold it down or whatever so make sure you double check before doing anything

How long have you had it? You get a standard 1 year warranty with SteelSeries regardless of where you buy it in the US and countries outside the EU and a 2 year standard warranty for countries in the EU

If you want a quick overview, remove/desolder them from the pcb, open them up, apply a light coating of lube to the housings and stem (krytox 205g0 for linears, tribosys 3203 for tactiles) and reassemble. Krytox 105 is recommended for the springs.
