1. bought my first Arctis 7 Wireless : PERFECT i loved them.

2. My first Arctis Pro wireless : loved them and i really enjoyed the extras but the sond kinda really was the same. until one day i turn them on and 1 of the speakers go out and i kinda shrugged it off. then sometime in the summer break my second / last speaker was feeling like it was gonna blow soon so i opened a ticket and i wanted a refund. so then they needed my serial number. but there was none just a black stripe covering it with no sign of serial number so annoyed and mad i spend ANOTHER 350 Dollars

3. My current Headphones. I Love my Arctis Pro Wireless to death but lately i turn down my volume to VC with my freind but it turns off after some time. i need to find a fix.

(i made this little thing so i can share my current user experience and id say its a 7/10 and its some advice for future Steelseries Customers or anyone looking for a good high quality headset)(i recomend the arctis 7 wireless)

Keycaps are basically standard sizes. The only common exception is the bottom row on certain keyboards. For example, Corsair keyboards tend to use a non standard bottom row, meaning both CTRL, Windows, and the Menu key are different widths than on most other keyboards. The main thing you need to check is whether or not your keyboard supports Cherry MX compatible keycaps.

If you have a US keyboard and buy UK keycaps you'll have some problems since they use slightly different layouts.

Thought so. You should be good with their nordic layout set. They have a good top down pic of it on their site that I found that you can use to compare it to your keyboard to make sure that your keyboard doesn't have any non standard size keys.

No I mean Hyper-X's site. Google "hyper x pudding keycaps nordic" and use the link that says Layout: Nordic in the preview. Compare that to your own keyboard to make sure that the key sizes look the same.

Type "change system sounds" in start and verify you have audio sources called "GameDAC Chat " & "GameDAC Game". If you do, set the game one to "default device" and set the chat one to " default communications device". If you don't see both or one breaks other other, use a different USB port. That fixed my issues.

Just an update on this. It turns out the firmware had the side affect of resetting some Windows based sound setting which broke some stuff. I seem to have resolved it.

Just recently bought the GameDac for my Arctis Pro wired, ever since then I lost DTS:X, how can I fix it? It used to recognize my headset before however the app is no longer recognizing it.

When I plug in my arctis 5 via USB it stops playback of any sort of media, i can't hear in voice channels and call, and the mic doesn't pick up. I only started having related problems after installing equalizer APO which i quickly removed off computer. It fixed the issue but 3 or so days later it behaves like this. I don't know why and I can't find a solution although i've been searching for days. I've unplugged and replugged it in, i've restarted my computer, uninstalled and re-installled steelseries engine and updated it, I've ran troubleshooters for all related issues and still it persists to have this problem. So recently i bought an apex 7 keyboard. And it was working fine until one day all the lights exept for the right arrow key turned off. The keyboard and the rgb lights are still in working condition but for some reason they wont turn on. If i go into the sofware it says it needs an update but when i update it and it completes it keeps asking for the update and nothing changes. I have also tryed factory reseting the keyboard following the guide on the steelseries site but still nothing. I am pretty bumbed considering that its is still a new keyboard and has already bugged out.

i finally got a solution how to fix this problem, i just tried to do something on my own (i will close my open support ticket later)

1. unplug the usb transmitter from your device (pc, laptop, ..)
2. put off the left ear cushion
3. there are 3 large holes (the screws that hold your baby together) and there is also one small hole - this a reset button, you need to turn the headset off and press this reset button for at least 6 seconds
4. plug in the usb transmitter into your device and turn on the headset again
5. Enjoy, this ones worked for me, please give me a feedback if this is helpful for you, thx

As long as your mouse is within the warranty period which is one year from the date of purchase if you live in the US and 2 years in the EU then they will get you a replacement. It just may take awhile since they've been having shipping issues with orders from their website lately.

I dont think this is a problem because you can also unplug the cable from the headset, you cannot use it though, but if this is possible that would mean you can always replace it when it is broken

why does my apex 5 have 2 extra keys that i cant customise and my keyboard enter key is bigger and my shift key is smaller the extra keys have a hastage but when you press it is does this with and without shift \ and the other has a \ when you press down shift it becomes |. also on the box it is the same as what i ahve with the extra keys but in the engine it does not have them. any suggestions?

you should change your layout in the software

you have an iso layout by the looks of it,

so go to oled and settings in steelseries engine and set your region accordingly

ISO should be "UK English"

when the led is changed by engine and app integration, it will most likely stay off until the integration activates again,

same happens for my keyboard, the led will turn off until i mute again, or someone talks

I dont know if this is the correct chat to ask this. But I just bought a new steelseries arctis 5 2019 edition headset and I noticed that the 7.1 doesn't really help with tracking footsteps in games. It is a lot easier to hear them without 7.1 . Am I doing something wrong or should I just use the headset without 7.1?

SSE has had support for that version of MacOS since version 3.14 and beyond. You can find a download for 3.14.1 through the FileHorse link I mentioned which is the 7th source from the top if you Google "steelseries engine version history"

I got a steelseries arctic pro wireless + DAC. On Windows, Surround works fine, but on Linux, the Headset doesn't let me use Surround. It works on a different headset
