Hello guys my arctis 7 loosing connection with my ps5 all the time and now the ps5 cant even find a dongle which is connected

yes arctis 5 and yes it's still ringing. I can somewhat overcome this by turning the base volume in the headset up to 100% but when there's any downtime in a game or video I still hear it

Ok, here's how to fix that.

Instead of setting the default audio device in windows to ARCTIS GAME, Set it to ARCTIS CHAT, and vice versa.

Tell Discord/whatever other audio source you are using to use arctis game

Right click the speaker and select audio device

Input can remain arctis chat, because that's the name of the microphone

When assigning keyboard buttons to the side buttons, they cannot be held. This function can be done on my Rival 110 mouse, but cannot be replicated on my Rival 3 Wireless.

I'm not sure on that question - it would depend how the phone is connected.

I have an Arctis 7 and I use Switch audio (AUX) and PC (Wireless) simultaneously.

It's Switch -> HDMI -> Monitor -> Aux -> Arctis Reciever

So it's a bit of a pain but it works.

They all have AUX input which is what the 3 is using for the switch handheld.

I personally have had great customer service with them so when I saw that mouse close to the weight of the g pro superlight I thought I'd give it a try but was curious about if it has the same problems I've been having with the 650 wireless. The 650 I have randomly stops connecting to the dongle forcing me to play wired until I do a firmware reset. Also randomly gets glitchy input also requiring a firmware reset. Neither of which are very common but are reoccurring. Does this happen with the aerox 3 as well or is there other similar little problems it might have?

I haven't used it as much, but I've had a couple software glitches so i wouldn't rule that out. Its a good mouse overall, but the superlight still beats it in some aspects.

Yeah but with my old g pro logitech didn't really show as much customer service as steel series has towards taking care of their customer and their products. Hence why I use everything steelseries now haha imo I like the feel of the steelseries products more than logitech as well

Basically, my son ordered an Arctis 7p in white and they issued a refund without any email indicating why (probably due to stock issue). However, when they issued the refund, they only issued for the headset itself and not the included shipping that was paid.

Needless to say, if this is not responded to within an appropriate timeframe, I have no problems escalating to a level until I do get someone.

honestly you can just reconnect them so what you do is you hold down the connector that is usb connected to the pc for like seven seconda and it will start to blink faster then it normally blinks when it is dosconnected and then you hold your headset button for like ten secons and you should hear a different kind of beep and then it should be reconnected to the connector

So the issue is that when my sound is quiet , lets say i want to listen to music but queit it just gets lower and lower till there is no sound playing anymore. If i turn up the volume it puts out sound again.My Chatmix is on the right all the way. I use Voicemeter. Everything works but that i cant listen to quiet stuff without it cut out after some seconds.Yesterday everything was fine. Cant find any solutions, i tried to reconnect , restart , checked settings in windows, tried another usb port. I cant figure it out.

every thing. any software that uses the headset mic as input will mute the audio for the speakers. i saw a reddit post saying this is a bluetooth thing and the only way to fix it is to get the dongle. im getting it in 2 days, hopefully this fixes it.

thats the problem, headset is more phone quality than the normal earphones so it may sounds like you're listening from a phone or it may sound how you're hearing it (i had my fair share of this problem with airpods) the dongle should fix it given you have a device that works with 2.4 ghz and with every windows update that occurs stuff can mess up or change like that

Hey guys, I've just updated my arctis pro wireless and now my sound system gets muted as soon as I turn on the headset. I've connected my system with a toslink cable to the OLED box.
In the past I had to use the ps4 source and that worked just fine. (I could play sound on my headset and sound system at the same time)

I've used my arctis pro with a 2.1 speaker plugged in to the dac's 3.5mm jack before, no issues. They still output the same source under gameDAC because the gameDAC is what's being detected by windows, not individual headphones plugged into DAC themselves. If you plug your other speaker through a different 3.5mm slot on your device instead of gameDAC, then I assume windows should detect it as an individual unit

I usually mute my pro with the physical volume button when using the other speaker

I have a question about the gameDAC mobile jack, does it act as an input via male to male 3.5mm? Does it work only with mobile phones or can you say connect it to a laptop?

Yeah it depends at what % the battery is. From Empty I can charge mine to "green" in about an hour I'd say - but I don't measure it so I'm guessing.

I can regularly run them for 24-27 hours of "on" time and they are 2 years old.

The Arctis 5 has what is essentially an onboard sound card - it won't matter if your onboard soundcard doesn't work properly with Microphones plugged into the 3.5mm jack ports your motherboard/PC provides.

hi, I’ve had my steel series headset for about 3 months now and in the background I just hear static whenever sound plays. I’ve literally only had these for 3 months and it’s already doing this. I’ve also had my apex 7 tkl for the same amount of time, and the switches just feel cheap now and wiggly and unsatisfying to type on. I’m very disappointed especially for the amount I paid for these products.

thats beacuse you have something running that is trying to constantly pick up audio or are unmuted via headset, try muting your mic/disconnecting until you need it or try to turn off whatever is trying to pick up audio (discord calls, zoom, etc) it should work if you simple just unplug the mic or mute tho

The reset can be activated by pushing a paperclip through the pinhole behind one of the earcups. I don't remember which one specifically, but the manual should be able to tell you

My RMA experience got done in about 2 weeks. Took 8 days for the initial response to my ticket, but after that it went pretty smooth. They even put my ticket on hold when I went out of town for a week and couldn't destroy my product then got the ticket going the day after I got back and recieved my RMA coupon the day after that.

I have. I'm not simping for SteelSeries lmao. It's not my fault I've had a SteelSeries M+KB for over 3 years and an Arctis 5 for over a year with 0 issues. Only product from them I've had a problem with is the QcK Prism XL I ordered that came with dim RGB in the bottom right corner. All I'm saying is that I've had a great experience with their customer service and their products but I know there's a lot of people that haven't. It's the same with any company.

If you mean how you can see what you were charged then they should email an invoice for the order to you as soon as it's preparing for shipping.

As for what you can use to pay for a product they take most major banks and cards as far as I know, though things are probably different for the EU than in the US
