I just bought the Arctis Pro Wireless cause I wanted to finally go wireless from my GOXLR but when I plugged them in they sound aweful. I'm sure I don't have something right cause so many people talk about pairing the Pro Wireless and the GOXLR. The headset I was using before was the Astro A40 headphones plugged into the headphone port. It sounds like my mic is almost doubled but I have the mic monitoring on the Pro Wireless and side talk turned off.

When I do a test recording my mic sounds fine but during the monitoring through the GOXLR it sounds terrible. I am not using the mic on the Pro btw. So I know this is a setting with the Arctis Pro that I don't have setup right.

AMD and Intel are both on the same upgrade path in the sense that 5th gen is the last on AM4 and 11th gen will be the last on LGA1200

I don’t know what you meant by 4XX and 5XX boards since intel has both of them, H410/H470/B460/Z490 and the upcoming 500 series equivalent

Not really rocket lake is a down grade for most people, multi-core optimized games are already coming out. On top of that with the real world TDPs of Intel CPUs they all but require AIOs or a custom loop to run at clock speeds that are worth mentioning to actually beat AMD's offerings. From the looks of things we may be on AM4 for another year and the next cores are prob going to be on TSMCs 5nm node, dropping the TDP even more allowing AMD's offerings to stay in all core boost even longer. Intel's offerings don't really look good at all unless you can run enough water and power on them to keep them at the high clock speeds. All but the best board offerings from Intel can really do that and your looking at a 75+ USD AIO at minimums. Intel's line up is more akin to a sad joke than really anything really useful.

I am wonder why ssenext core is using a-lot of ram on my mac (I am on an m1 mac mini running mac os big sur) on average it is using about 150 mb. if this helps I have a rival 650 and apex pro tkl and a arctis 1 (wired.). if there is anything that I can do to make it use less can you please let me know. I've setup my headphones and have managed to test them successfully through options on my computer and PS console. However, when I go to speak, it doesn't pic up my voice in game. My friends can't hear me, yet I can hear them. I go to the option to change microphone input on my PS console, and I can hear myself clear as day. I don't know why this happens

Well, I really like the bt + 2.4ghz feature, even when on pc. However the build quality disappoints me a lot. I had a broken Arctis Pro out of the box, RMA'd it, sold that, got the 9 and now it's broken again out of the box. My friends had never had problems with their 7's however I am just apparently having the worst of luck. I thought about getting the corsair virtuoso, but again, I will be missing my BT and it's another piece of software I dont want. I really just want to be convinced the 9's arent all bad, and I just got a bad apple. RMA'ing is also way easier than returning, tbh.

I have an odd question.
I bought a rival 600 last month and I noticed that the two buttons make a different sound. Different microswitch I assume. I recently started playing a game where I can configure the controls so that I only need to use one mouse button and that got me wondering: Is one of the two mouse buttons designed to be more durable/lasting longer? That way I can prioritize that button when possible

Hey guys, So I recently purchased the arctis pro wireless. It’s linked to my Xbox series x with an optical cable and usb to my laptop where I use discord to speak to my friends. But the pc sound is too low even on the max volume compared to the Xbox output. If I use the chat mix I need to make it like 80/20 which makes it really hard to hear game volume and footsteps. Any advice?

ive had my steelseries setup for a little over a year (arctis 5, rival 600, apex m750) and every part of it is deteriorating. The mouses side pod grips are coming off (not spending $20 for another new pair) for the keyboard some buttons are beginning to not work, for example the ` and 2 button only respond like 40% of the time. My headset mics sound quality has gone down and sometime audio is louder on one side

Does anyone here every run into an issue with their steel series arctis pro wireless (connected to pc) where the game audio stops working, but chat audio is fine?
Restarting doesnt fix it, the only way to fix it is by reinstalling the steel series software.
It happened the first time where my PC froze and windows errored with a green screen error code. Ive done a full reinstall of windows since then and it still happens.

It typically errors again if my PC freezes for any reason (division 2 sometimes causes random freezes, tried reinstalling it and nothing changed)

Was hoping to find a more permanent fix as having to reinstall the steel series software, install the extra stuff needed for the arctis pro wireless, and relogin/change all the settings everytime is kind of a pain

It also doesnt matter whether I use the steel series engine software or the GG software. The issue happens with both.

My \ key on my Steelseries Apex 5 illuminates in a different colour than the rest of the keys and it doesn`t change even after couple factory resets.

The problem in short, the audio drivers on Windows 10 aren’t properly compatible with a USB microphone. Thus, the microphone levels are incredibly low. This change brought along some severely low volume issues to any USB microphone that doesn’t come with its own drivers. Unfortunately, the problem is still persistent in Windows 10.

For sure the headset i'm using is using windows drivers (i did not installed anything and when checked, on steelseries website there is no specific driver)

Hi all

I have a very strange problem on my Windows 10 computer: When connecting Arctis 3 bluetooth headphones and using their microphone (be it voice chat or just the "test microphone" functionality in many apps) the audio from the rest of the system cuts out, e.g. games or youtube. This makes voice chat during games impossible.

I understand that using a bluetooth headset may lead to low-quality audio output (bandwidth limitations?), but at least I would have assumed that windows can simultaneously mix more than one audio stream onto the headphones.

I have never owned a computer that had this problem (Mac, Ubuntu ... all worked).

How could this glitch be solved?

Hello, looking for some help with my new Steelseries Arctis 9P

I've had it for 2 months and suddenly today it will not switch on/off. I have to factory reset it using the pin, then have it plugged in for it to work in my PC. The light is constantly flashing red but I'm still getting audio. After about 15-20 mins my right side headset becomes extremely hot (almost too hot to touch) and I have to take it off

Hello, I've just bought my Arctis 1 headset today and overall I'm very satisfied with it after applying some little EQ tweaks :D. I have one pretty concering issue tho. The headset has a hardware switch for the mic. It does pretty well in not capturing the audio that is played from headphones themselves but when I actually switch the mic off it seems to capture more of the audio than while it was enabled. Any reason for it doing that and is there any way to fix it? I'll point out that I'm using it on Linux, turned off the EQ for the time of testing

Question about gg/moments. When I capture gameplay, the mic volume is super quiet. Game sound is fine and if I'm in a discord voice chat the other people's voices are fine, just my own is super quiet. All volumes are on max (both through software, game DAC and windows), when I'm in VC there's no issues and people say I'm not quiet and can hear me fine so I don't think it's an issue with the hardware/setup

So, I'm now a proud owner of an Arctis Pro Wireless, but I have come to realize that either the right speaker is a tad lower volume, or my right ear is slightly damaged.
As a future request, would it be possible to implement a volume balance level into the DAC ?
I'm using the Pro Wireless in combination with an audio mixer and a studio mic where I get direct feedback from my mic into the headset, there is a slight delay of maybe 20 ms, but it's nothing gamebreaking.

My arctis 7 headset will randomly have a high pitched buzzing noise (goes away after turning on and off again), my arctis 7 headset will randomly have a kind of static-y and annoying sound to it (goes away after restarting computer), and the game audio settings has a delay that makes games harder to play. Has the order been shipped? You should receive a confirmation email on the status (although if your son bought it you'll need to find out what email he used). Usually you can cancel orders while they're in processing before they ship which you should be able to do through a link in the email. If it's already shipped the only things you can do are just try to return it when it arrives or refuse the package when they drop it off and get a refund from your credit card.

If it's an RMA coupon for the Apex 7 (or pro) I'd assume it would work no matter the switch type. The only time I would think it wouldn't work would be if the coupon is for a full size board and you're trying to use it on a TKL or vise versa

The support staff are great!. Just gotta give them time, they're inendated with tickets and are working as best as they can to get through it. They're working from home too so it's difficult. And remember as well, if you're nice to your support rep more will be done for you, as someone who works sales and support. If someone's nice to me I'll do more than usual xP

Does anyone use their Apex Pro with Adobe? Any time I open Photoshop or Premiere Pro, it renders my keyboard useless - just freezes - until I unplug the USB and plug it back in. It's intermittent at best until the program is closed. Seems like a profile issue - any one had this issue?

If i use Speakers (SteelSeries Arctis 9x Headset Stereo) for anything else than discord the sound quality is amazing. When I am in Discord and I select Output - Speakers (SteelSeries Arctis 9x Headset Stereo) I get no sound, when I select in Output - Headset Earphone (SteelSeries Arctis 9x Headset Handson Free AG Audio) it comes out choppy and low volume. Anyone have any feedback?
